Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. @AMS19 Definitely have the glass of wine! I've seen a few threads on here about 'drinking til it's pink', or til you get a BFP - the mental toll of TTC can be bad enough without acting like you're pregnant before you know you're pregnant ❤️

Ooh well AF has arrived, so that's 28 days after my last pill - pretty sure it's proper AF by the flow!! Haven't missed the witch. Glad to have an idea where to start now.

So first proper charting month begins... eek!

It has been a pretty exhausting day... up early with the election. Work. Seeing family before lockdown then trying to calm down a very stressed dog all evening because of the fireworks 😣

Temperature dropped below cover line today but RHR is up to 70 today. Have to hope over next few days it rises again otherwise I’m out. FF predicts I’m 12DPO Premom suggests 9DPO.

@moocher90 if premom is right then could be implantation dip?

I decided to take a FRER yesterday before going out to put my mind at rest about drinking. Very clear BFN...which I'm totally fine with. Just hoping AF holds off for another 2/3 days to have a decent LP 🙏 unfortunately it feels like she might be coming today/tomorrow as I've got period pains and feel pretty yucky. I mean..the yucky bit is probably all the red wine, but the period pains are real 😂😂😂
I didnt take my temp this morning as the wine made me sleep terribly, but would expect it probably dropped!

@AMS19 will just have to wait and see what happens over the next couple of days. If AF arrived then at-least I should have a good LP

@Moocher90 I reckon premom is right due to the EWCM you had post the FF OD. Are your charts set to advanced cause I feel FF should have taken that into account? Then the 9DPO aligns very nicely to the secondary oestrogen surge often called an implantation dip - although they're common in non BFP charts as well so it's not really implantation related!

@Juno231 thanks for the insight. Not sure if my chart is set to advanced? How do I check?

@Moocher90 I had a big CD27 temperature dip this morning too, so not feeling too positive for this cycle - though I know as @Juno231 says, there's potential for it to be an implantation dip.

@MancMama39 congrats on the decent flow AF! I'm hopeful mine is at least a bit heavier this month too.

@AMS19 - you could still just be too early for a BFP? See what happens! Hope you enjoyed the wine anyway 😂

@Moocher90 ooh, interesting, you could indeed be 9DPO rather than 12DPO... I suppose tomorrow will tell (if your temp jumps back up)?

@AMS19 sorry about your negative test, you're not out just yet though, hoping you had a fun last night of freedom before lock down!

My temp dipped a little last night but is still above the cover line for now. I know I said I would get excited if I got tender breasts, well, I have tender breasts but i'm not excited, haha. I am getting weird tingling sensations behind both nipples which comes and goes (sorry for TMI lol) but I know this is just progesterone related.

I just checked my Premom and it’s actually 8 DPO not 9 :/ but still encouraging if that is correct and AF don’t show up over the weekend or early next week. Think I’m just going to go with the flow now and what will be will be whether that be temp rises again or AF shows and if no show then test on tues or weds when I am next off of work.

Ooh @Kay00 that sounds promising! Really hope it's your BFP.

@AMS19 you're not out yet, sounds like you're prepared though if it's not this time.

@crabette @Kay00 @MancMama39 thanks ladies. If I'm not out the poor little embaby will not be in a good state after my night last night...I went to town on 2 bottles of red wine 🤦‍♀️😂🤢
AF is definitely coming. I had very small bit of spotting earlier and got really bad cramps now. If she holds off until tomorrow that would be an 11 day LP...not ideal but not terrible. But I'll definitely takes the B vitamins next cycle. I guess the benefit if she does arrive is I can get on with the next cycle and start again!

@Moocher90 all my apps, including premom have me at 9DPO. FF 10DPO. I've gone off FF and ignored the rest, no idea which is the most reliable 🤷‍♀️

@AMS19 it’s so annoying and confusing when two apps with the same information has interpreted it so differently! We shall see....just read your post about spotting and af style cramps, sorry if AF comes :( however as you say there’s always next month. I’m in the same mind set.

@Moocher90 it really is! I know I peaked on Monday 26th morning at 10am. This had already gone by 7pm the same day. So I guess it depends how long the apps think ovulation is post a peak? FF must think i ovulated the same day, so within 12 hours of the peak. The others apps assume 24hours after the peak?

@AMS19 I'm on Natural Cycles, and the last LH positive I got, the app assumed I ovulated the following day. It didn't ask for time of day though, and took a couple of days for my temp to follow!

@AMS19 oh dear! Two bottles! haha, I would be a complete mess today . An 11 day LP really isn't that bad, i'd be pretty pleased with that, although hopefully she holds off another day or two for your peace of mind (or... preferably she doesn't turn up at all!)

I have quite regular abdominal cramps now... so i'm not feeling too hopeful, feels like AF is on her way and i'm only 10DPO... hopefully mine will hold off a day or two longer too!

Just had some EwCM today when I wiped and then had a feel of my cervix which is quite low but what come out was white lotiony when rubbed together, is this normal during the tww?

Haha @AMS19 I'm tempted to follow suit with a bottle of wine tonight! May as well get Lockdown 2.0 off to a good start!

I've completely lost faith in the LH tests now... Been testing twice a day as all of the apps say I'm due to ovulate today. After a 27% yesterday morning, I'm down to 0% today.... So maybe I missed the peak during the day yesterday (as my evening test last night was a 0% too)?! Does it really happen that quick?

I'm feeling crampy today (CD17) and wondering if AF is on the way and I'm just having a really short cycle! Looking forward to my thermometer arriving tomorrow so I can get a better idea of things... And kicking myself that I'm getting so wound up about not knowing when I'm ovulating when we're not even 'trying' this cycle. Rant over haha.

Also I feel like I remember seeing someone ask about what to do if you get a BFP at the mo given it's difficult to get a GP appt with covid rules. My local hospital's maternity unit has a self referral option on their website which you can use without having seen a GP, so may be worth checking if yours has the same :)

@Moocher90 it's not part of VIP, it's what you should set FF to to make it useful, as it then takes ewcm, opk and temp into consideration instead of only the one thing. Go to Chart Settings, Detector/Override Settings and choose Advanced. I think that's it anyway!

@Juno231 it is set to that apparently after checking.
