@Juno231 sorry I completely missed your post earlier for some reason! Only our second cycle so not long at all. I definitely have a type A personality though so I’m really struggling with not being able to plan etc!!

@Florence13 at least he's sorry I suppose! Hmm do you think he feels it would make him feel awkward maybe watching it together? He should try it, he might really enjoy it!! I agree with the others too, I'd be worried if he'd stop having sex with you completely and kept watching porn, but if you're sex life is as good as that I wouldn't worry❤️

@Kirky658 @Newbie0818 @NestinginNL so after us chatting about endo the other day I decided to call the gp today and I managed to get a phone consultation 20 mins ago, so she said by looking at my records and knowing I have normal periods with normal period pain and it's not like I have consistent pain, only every so often and very mild, she said she doubts it could be endo and she thinks it's highly the case that it's my ibs, she said she's had so many girls go in say it hurts sometimes during sex when they're in a certain position and it's turned out it was their ibs too, and also said endo could only be diagnosed through laparoscopy and they don't really do that unless they have solid reason to believe I 99% have endo, or unless you go for tests after struggling to conceive. She told me the blood tests I had in June were for liver, kidney, thyroid, coeliac, bone, female sex hormones and something to check my ovaries, and she said even though they don't give a diagnostic for endo she said everything was perfect, and she can't see why there would be a reason for me to not conceive! She prescribed me some medication too for my pelvic pain, so overall it was a really good phone call and I feel so much more at ease now! Sorry for the massive message but just wanted to let you know x

@Florence13 so pleased you've had a chat with OH as well and it seems it's less than you thought which is brilliant, how do you feel about it?

@vil10 really pleased you managed to have a consultation hun, hopefully it put your mind at rest a bit? Glad to hear you've been given some medication too that must help. The only thing I would say is...pain during sex is not normal. I had to go to my GP ten times before they took notice and finally got referred to gynae. It is also not IBS causing pain during sex, it's a common misconception. I don't want to worry you in any way shape or form but just want you to be armed with as much info as you can. If you are on Facebook please go on there & look for endometriosis guidance and information resource UK ask to be added. It may be useful to read up on if nothing else. Xx

@vil10 sorry to just jump on the middle of your chat with @kirky658 because she's right that it's not a very common symptom with ibs is don't let it be dismissed if you don't think it's the cause for you... But I juste anted to say that ibs can make sex uncomfortable sometimes. It's not always the case, I've had it over 10years and it isn't really an issue for me, however it can because your bowels & lower abdo, and sex organs are all in the same region so inflammation & pain can feel generalised if that makes any sense? Like when you have horrible period cramps you can have pain in your back or discomfort/pain when you open your bowels. They're all kind a connected.

Also other symptoms make it uncomfortable - Constipation with ibs, for example, can make you feel quite uncomfortable and extra "full" downthere because of course internally the rectum and vagina are in the same region so if you're bunged up then sex won't be comfortable.
Personally I did find during my worst flair ups that I'd feel extra bloated and my tummy would feel tender if we'd had a partially enthusiastic session but I'd also get the same upset stomach with going for a run. It's like the jiggling around irritated everything inside. Anyway I just wanted to put my two pence worth in about ibs - I will remove my dietitian hat now haha xx

Just going back a few hours @Juno231 @lucyrp listennnnn my sex life has gone down especially with Ttc!! I am sick of always moving to him and making him feel nice 😬 and it's mad because I know he's attracted to me too but the way he can just switch off winds me up!! I was asking yesterday and he said he was feeling ill 🤒 rolls eyes dunno if I believe him lol but he's very stressed with work right now and when he's stressed like that his libido goes whereas I'm the opposite! I'm like um why don't you just fuck out your frustration? I'm hereeeeee baby haha no instead I have to find some time to get my friend out of the bed side draw 😭😭😭😭😭 we are going Liverpool for work on Tuesday night though so there's no way he's saying no there 😂

@sausage1990 yeah definitely. I was told I had IBS since I was 16 and eventually was diagnosed with endo. Had bloating, upset stomach before period and constipation too alternating...i eventually had horrendous pains when I tried to go for a number 2 on many occasions & that was what prompted me to get seen. Thankfully since my surgery my pains and ibs symptoms have literally gone. Turned out they were due to endo on my ligaments - like you say, they're all connected! Xx

@Missgoldilocks i'm exactly the same! it's like his dick is turned on but he's switched off. i'm like wtf ?! and always doing things for tjem ... god i know. he loved back scratches, ball scratches, leg strokes etc and i do all that stuff for him and he does nothing for me like that 😫 and half the time il do that and his dick gets hard and i'm like ooo and he's like no no carry on and won't let me have sex 🙄

@Minster2012 I’m feeling a bit better about it thank you after speaking to you lovely ladies and having a proper chat with OH. I think I was maybe just feeling super betrayed and upset which he understands because I was in the house. But I still feel slightly gutted but feel I’m coming to terms with it a bit better now.

@lucyrp ahhh buggar!! I was really hoping it would stay high for you! Well let's just see what happens now hun. My body is being a fuck boy this month too. Don't think I've ovulated looking at my RHR this month, even though I got peak on CB digital Saturday morning & has EWCM on Friday. Think I'm having..... what is it it's called??... begins with an A? Anvolulantry cycle or something?🙈

@Chlo2701 anovulatory ! that's the word you're looking for 😉😉 il be hanging on for another 8 days and if nothing then i'm going to accept defeat for this cycle i think. i thought mine were getting shorter but it's gone long, then shorter and now long again

Ladies just need to rant so apologies... I 'finished' my AF on Saturday. Then yesterday started brown spotting again which has continued today. On top of that my mood swings are horrendous. The tiniest thing is setting me off crying and our puppy is just driving me crazy today! DH and I had a day out walking bc we are both off for half term which I enjoyed but I got back and was sooooo grumpy. My moods have been horrendous lately, esp since we have been TTC. Sex drive is basically non existent, and has been since I got diagnosed with endo. Always OK once we get going but it's so rare unless I've had a drink I really want to do it. Just feeling utterly crappy right now. Sorry to be a downer! X

@Kirky658 it has put my mind at ease a little bit, but I am still thinking like you're saying, that it still could be that, I'm going to try this medication and give it another few months and see what happens, if nothing gets better I'll go back, it's not like I always have pain whilst having sex, I'd probably say I get it 2/3 times a month?? So it's not every time, which makes me think what could it be, and it's not so bad that I have to stop! I think I'm a bit nervous to join any group just in case because then every time I get a bad period pains I'll be thinking "it's obviously because I have endo", Thankyou so much for your help!!x

@Sausage1990 When I have flare ups it's always constipation, that's what made me think it was my ibs causing the pain because it's like a trapped wind kind of feeling, I suppose I'll just have to keep an eye on it and ring up again, I'm an over thinker so I definitely won't be able to just leave it if nothing gets better, I might start making note of when I have flare ups and when I get the pain! Thankyou!!x

@lucyrp I've had just standard feel of my stomach examination, and had an abdominal ultrasound a few years ago and they've always come back fine!x
