This is normal for us @ZoeJade we like to keep things interesting on the thread, read back a few pages!

Minster2012 · 02/11/2020 07:54

I've asked DH for a bigger dildo for Xmas, genuinely, it's actually on my Xmas list, a more "life size" one he said 🤔🤦🏼‍♀️

Kirky658 · 02/11/2020 07:58

@ZoeJade do it! 🎅

We've set ourselves a target this week to DTD every day as I am due to ov Thursday. Fingers crossed it works!!!! 🤞

Newbie0818 · 02/11/2020 09:13

@Vil10 I'll keep you posted 🤣

@Minster2012 we're definitely going to need them with another lockdown haha.

@KateColx I'm ok thanks, been in a bit of a funk with it all the past few days.
And yes! He's not too bad at the toys haha, our first Xmas together he bought me a bag full of little toy goodies 😂

lucyrp · 02/11/2020 09:18

I am having such a downer day today. Weighed myself this morning (not a good idea after a kebab last night and breakfast this morning) and I'm 4 pounds heavier than I should be at the moment and just everything is getting to me 😫

Gem176 · 02/11/2020 09:57

@lucyrp bin the scales, honestly, it's the best thing for you lovely! If you start healthy eating or exercising or anything else to benefit your health don't judge its success using scales.
Thankfully I have the dog to drag me out the door otherwise I wouldn't when the weather is miserable.
Just have sex, burns as many calories as a thirty minute walk anyway 😉😂

lucyrp · 02/11/2020 10:07

@Gem176 honestly I'm having such a bad time of it at the moment. No idea what's going wrong 🙈 thing is I haven't noticed a difference either way in how my clothes fit at the moment so can't see how I've put any on! I need to get a lightweight coat and some good shoes for going out in the rain 🤣

Also what are peoples opinions on going on the pill to regulate cycles ?

Vil10 · 02/11/2020 10:09

Morning ladies!!

Well I'm feeling a bit miserable this morning with the new lockdown and now talks of schools being shut so that'll be me off work again! And someone I know has just announced the birth of their baby girl and with the name I was going to call mine if I had a girl, I mean it's really not the end of the world and I'm just being dramatic, but how dare she choose the name she never knew i liked for a child I don't have🙄

Hope everyone else is okay❤️

Minster2012 · 02/11/2020 10:20

@lucyrp ignore the scales. And like @Gem176 says just have lots of energetic sex. It's not our fault if we can only eat takeaways?! (I'm I'm trying to eat healthily though & exercise so I can't talk) but hey!

@Vil10 how bloody dare she!! My mate was like this when we were actually discussing our bump she said "long as you don't call it Beatrice if it's a girl as I want that" (for her single self no child on the horizon) and my head immediately went to our top 3 girls names list of which Beatrice is still on there (we had a boy) I would still use it cos she's still single with no child on the horizon so tough titties but it would be massively annoying for her if she remembers that conversation from probably 5 years ago by then 😂🤦🏼‍♀️it's such a weird & emotive subject 😬

Minster2012 · 02/11/2020 10:21

Ps, schools closing. Nurseries closing? I've not heard this. Noooooooooooo please nooooooo

Kirky658 · 02/11/2020 11:00

@minster2012 @vil10 doubt the schools will close tbh. DH is secondary school teacher and they're doing everything in their power to keep them open. But never say never, dear Boris said no to another lockdown now look where we are...

2alreadywantanother · 02/11/2020 11:45

Hey guys.
Havent been on in a few days. Was feeling pretty crap about things and just realised today is the 2nd anniversary for my sons T1 diabetes diagnosis and on the run up to it last yr I was pretty down. Without realizing this yr, and getting my 1st period after mmc the wk was shit.
But I've come out the other end. The last 6 wks I have taken out with eating and piled on 7lb since end of july. So took the plunge today. Back looking after ME! I'm doing slimming world while mixing that with intermittent fasting so I only eat between 11 and 7 daily. That saves me from snacking at night. I also got out walking and did 4.5k this morning. So I'm back. The frame of mind I'd where I need it and time to get preggers 🤞
I'll catch up on the group but just popping into say hi. X

Gem176 · 02/11/2020 12:41

@lucyrp clothes is how I judge my weight but I don't have scales. I had 5 years of diabulimia (a type of eating disorder where I didn't take anywhere near enough insulin as insulin can aid weight gain and running high meant my body was burning fat stores for energy, stupidly dangerous and ended up in intensive care) after dd was born so try to stay away from the mindset of losing weight etc and try to focus instead on being healthy. Looking back now at photos I looked awful. Painfully think, gaunt and grey 😢 wish I could have seen it at the time! Would have saved a hell of a lot of issues. I do worry that it's affected my ability to conceive now 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Vil10 I'm devastated as my absolute favourite boys name that has been my favourite forever is the name of my partners nephew so that's now out 🙄 my middle name is the name my mum wanted for me because a friend beat her to it!

@2alreadywantanother glad you are in a better headspace 😊 oh and a big type 1 solidarity hug to your ds!

Minster2012 · 02/11/2020 12:48

@Kirky658 I really hope so as that would be horrible in this weather for so many people and really really mess up education and exams for next year too for students (& drive us mental for those of us with younger kids!) let's really hope it doesn't come to this but as you say Boris atm is a law unto himself currently

@2alreadywantanother that sounds like a fantastic plan and a great start already so that's amazing keep going!! By the end of lockdown you will emerge a different lady

Well I've just been in the supermarket for nearly an hour and a half 😳(I did have a big list anyway)
And I am gonna get my SNS nails taken off this afternoon as I Won't be able to get them done

lucyrp · 02/11/2020 12:54

@Gem176 I was saying the other day I never used to weigh myself and the only reason I know how much I weighed 6/7 years ago is because they took my measurements when I got pregnant with DS and I was 8 stone 8 and I don't have any recollection of weighing myself up until the beginning of last year when I started slimming world because I thought I'd suddenly got fat and I was 12 stone 6. But the last 2 years I've weighed myself more than I ever have and I'm not sure that's such a good thing. I don't necessarily want to lose weight its more toning up my belly and being healthy

Katao · 02/11/2020 13:33

Oh gosh I weigh myself most days 🙈 or at least 3-4 times a week. I don't have an issue with it though, I just like to keep an eye on it and take action if it starts creeping up. I get what people are saying about not looking at the scales but I feel like i could easily put on half a stone to a stone before I'd really see or feel it in my clothes so would rather keep an eye on the numbers. Each to their own I guess, if it stressed me out I wouldn't weigh myself so much.

lucyrp · 02/11/2020 13:42

@Chlo2701 this is just a mind fuck now 🤣😫 13dpo and now it's rising again ?!

Katao · 02/11/2020 13:54

@lucyrp is it supposed to follow a similar trend to temping? Areyou still temping, how's that looking?

lucyrp · 02/11/2020 13:57

@Katao I believe so. My temping looks like this 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 its still above the cover line but I did think it had gone down today. I wish they'd both show the same thing and not different

Juno231 · 02/11/2020 14:00

Hi girls! Sorry I haven't been on all weekend - I've been super busy with the move. The house is in such a state but I'm really enjoying it so far :)
Had three architects come over today already! Am so behind/swamped at work though that I keep waking up at night worrying about it...

Have I missed anything big? The thread has moved on 6 pages since I last checked, shameful of me!

Juno231 · 02/11/2020 14:01

@lucyrp kebabs are super salty so you'll be retaining 4lbs of water easily!

OP posts:
Katao · 02/11/2020 14:03

@lucyrp good its still above coverline. How long is your LP? Are you due on in the next couple of days so? I know it's hard to know with irregular cycles though. I checked my apps and one has me down as 3 days late and the other says I'm due on next weekend 😂🤦‍♀️

lucyrp · 02/11/2020 14:07

@Katao I would guess 14 days but no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️I haven't managed to pinpoint ovulation before

Katao · 02/11/2020 14:09

Hey @Juno231 I wondered where you were. Happy house moving 🙂 sorry to hear about the stress of work keeping you awake. I'm like that too, anything on my mind and I'm staring at the ceiling half the night. Did you see @Runnergirl1 got a beautiful bfp!?!

Kirky658 · 02/11/2020 15:02

@juno231 happy house move!

Omg the first day back at work after a week off is the worst... Take me back to chilled out days last week!!! Had to take puppy to the vets this am. He's had a poorly tummy for a few days now since we treated him with flea prevention, vet says he is perfectly healthy but has given him something to settle his tummy, £50 later. God help me when I've got kids I literally worry about everything...
