@lucyrp I love running but have bad ankles and knees so my body doesn’t like it at all. I mostly weight lift but then I also walk the dogs for around 2 hours most days and I cycle everywhere (not that I ever go anywhere anymore), so cardio sneaks it’s way in. If you’re also working on building muscle then LISS cardio (low intensity) is better as it keeps you in the fat burning zone but doesn’t exhaust you. I’ve done a few shreds and it’s just lots of slow cardio and weight lifting rather than running ☺️ And yes, totally with you on not buying bigger clothes 😅 I gained weight after surgery and just stayed in leggings until I’d lost the weight and fit my jeans again. I didn’t want to buy more and not have the motivation!

@NestinginNL yeah I quite enjoy running but my knees aren't great and I had a pendunculated osteocrondoma on one of my legs just above my knee joint sitting that side is weaker as I had to have it removed. It's like a piece of bone shaped like a broccoli and it kept growing 🙈 I've been trying to get at least half hour a day exercise in and even then that's hard work as I jusg don't seem to have time. I keep telling myself stop making excuses but realistically the only time I have is past 8 when DS is in bed ☹️

@Vil10 @lucyrp That's healthy though isn't it, which is how it should be. I must admit I'm a bit of a feminist and my OH is a bit 50's in his approach to women and it causes some blow outs. I recently hid my box of toys and in its place wrote a note that referenced the human rights act and the rights to a private life (very much out of context but he wouldn't know that)....just to piss him off when he goes to check my toys haha
