@xoJellyBean ah that's odd, here they have to offer Pfizer to those under 30 or pregnant women. That's annoying.

@Suki2020 and @xoJellyBean I had the AZ vaccine at 29 weeks pregnant (this was just before advice about under 30s came out as I’m only 28). Obviously all okay with me and baby and I will definitely be having my second dose (which is meant to be on my due date haha). But it’s all personal choice! For me, benefits outweigh the risk and would do even with the new guidance.

@Justanothercyster I'm in ireland, I wonder is it different here?? 🤔 Pfizer seems to be the best for little to no symptoms 🤞🏻

@Suki2020 any sign of ov for you yet? I'm still bloody waiting... OPKs are all over the place 🙄

@xoJellyBean so-so. Currently back in hospital for extremely high blood pressure. I’m 36 weeks today and kinda done with the whole thing now, just want him here safely.

CD34 here. I again have what I would normally think were ovulation symptoms, 3rd time this cycle. No idea if I've ovulated or when AF is due.

Haven't even been DTD much because I'm just so down about it all totally catastrophising that it will never happen!

Hi all I’m not even sure if this is the right thread so apologies if I’m in the wrong place. Me and my partner have been trying ( in a relaxed way) for maybe 2 years but taking it more seriously in the last few months, I bought ovulation test strips but during my last cycle they were all negative and I doing something wrong or am I just not ovulating any more? I’m 37 Si was hoping I had a few more years left in my tubes😳... any tips or help would be great fully received

@Ibbleobbleblackbobble welcome. When do you do your OPK’s? Also how long are your cycles? Some women miss there peak on OPK’s as it can happen really quickly whereas other have a peak for a couple of days. You should test from lunchtime onwards as your LH rises in the morning so you maybe missing it if using fmw.

@xoJellyBean no still waiting for OV. What about you?

My cycles are generally 27-30 days and I was testing from day 10-20 at 530pm everyday. I’ve started taking folic acid tablets in the hope that might help too

@Suki2020 nothing here either. :( starting to think I'm not going to ovulate. My OPKs have gotten lighter x

@justlonelystars have you got pre-eclampsia? I know what you mean about being done with it all by that point. But I miss being pregnant so much now.

Hope everyone is doing okay, we are having a shit time again my oh grandad is in heart failure (same as my dad) and Finley won't sleep.. X

@Pol96 no, my tests for pre-eclampsia keep coming back negative, my blood pressure just keeps randomly spiking to over 160/105 then dropping back down to normal after a day or so. It’s very frustrating as has no rhyme or reason to it (I’m not overweight, particularly stressed, or any of the other risk factors for hypertension) but it’s obviously very dangerous for both me and the baby! Not long to go though at least - maximum of 5.5 weeks I suppose.

@xoJellyBean oh no sorry. I have my 1st covid injection tomorrow as well so hoping I don’t feel ill especially now my peak has finally arrived. Are you still doing OPK’s? You can spot around ovulation to.

@Suki2020 and it gets weirder. My GP called - my bloods are normal and my progesterone levels indicate ovulation happened this month! What the flip is going on 🤣 hope you feel ok after your vaccine ☺️

@xoJellyBean when did you have your blood test? That’s great that you ovulated though. What have your temps been like?

@Suki2020 My bloods were done on Thursday... got no peak OPKs my temps are all over the place too. The ov date is just a prediction by the app. Still spotting today, was convinced I didn't ovulate but apparently I did 🤷🏼‍♀️

@xoJellyBean it’s really weird how your chart doesn’t show a temp rise by much yet you’ve ovulated. Great though that you’ve ovulated and that’s the main thing. On other cycles do you get much of a temp rise? Was your blood test 6-8days after your predicted ovulation? Only my fertility nurse said you get a progesterone rise about day 5-6 days after ovulation so you may have ovulated earlier than you think as well. It’s so hard isn’t it

@Suki2020 isn't it? I usually get a definite rise and it stays elevated until af. This month it hasn't changed lol I have ovulated around day 18-21 over the last few months so I went for cd27 for bloods. Wonder should I ring her and discuss them? Only thing I can think of is that my puppy has me up at 5.30 sometimes so my temps are maybe totally wrong

@xoJellyBean sorry about the bfn dashing the hope from previous test, nothing worse. It's good you ov'd though, very positive! Very weird about the rise, but bloods are more definite.

@xoJellyBean I didn't get a big rise in temp when I was pregnant, have put on my chart, literally went from 36.3-36.6ish
