TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

@MgW1 No worries 😊 they recommend first morning urine with these sticks which goes against the usual convention of standard OPKs but so far has been fairly good at predicting when my peak is when I look at other symptoms etc xx

Come on girl it will happen 🥰 if You get stressed about it however, it will take longer . Im totally ok about it now. If its not happened in 6 months il speak to the doc. And don't stop drinking , Iv cut down but just enjoying it while I can 🤷‍♀️ xxx

Im going to order some. I said i wouldnt but they seem more straight forward than the cheap sticks and less stressful. Also if they give you a 4 day window - is it advisable to test every day or every other?? Xx

Hey @SunnydazeQ thanks for your message! Thank you, I am taking echanacia and my perfume replaced with the lovely scent of Olbas Oil 🤣🙈 Ah I didnt know that was a sign?! Thats crazy! I think this is probably just the garden variety cold. Oh no, I am sorry to hear you arent sleeping well - is there something triggering you waking up i.e. dreams? Ooh those sound like good signs! Keeping everything crossed for you, really hope the BFP turns up for you this month 🤞🤞🤞🤞 xxx

@MgW1 It does take a lot of hassle out. For your first time, it advises to start testing every day from an early point in your cycle. I average about 29 days so for me it was CD9 to start testing from. After the first cycle using, you can pretty much tell next time when to start testing again so you might only need between 3-5 sticks per time. Xx

Thanks @MgW1 and @millionairesshortbread4 - I've had a shower and am currently baking some chocolate cookies and it's perked me up 💪🤗 I think it was just my stupid temps meaning ovulation date changing which has got to me. I thought we had nailed it this month (so to speak!) so then discovering we potentially missed ovulation altogether is a blow!
Nevermind, just gonna go full steam ahead next month on the SMEP then at the very least I'll know we've dtd at the right time!! 🤦🏼‍♀️
Fecking mc seems to have screwed my regular cycle a bit this month.
@millionairesshortbread4 I totally know what you mean, especially when we're doing 5/6days in a row. Quite a lot of pressure on the guy! When we're struggling we end up sorting ourselves out and shove it in at the last minute. Definitely helps when we're at the end and can't quite bear to go at it again!
One month (the one I conceived ironically!) we were staying at the in laws and I couldn't face doing it with them in the next room so OH sorted himself out and I used a calpol syringe to insert it! Who knows, that might have been the secret to our success that month! 🤣🤣🤣

@Bmeggar glad the cookies have cheered you up, it can be so hard but stay positive, it will happen!
I had my peak CD 18 & 18 (Friday & Saturday). The SMEP is kind of exhausting! Need to DTD again today and then day off and one last time. I never quite understand, once you no long get a positive on opks, does that mean you’ve ovulated so I’m now 1dpo? X

@Vi2020 we’ve found it really helpful for timing. Only our second cycle smep (5th overall) but it’s handy for not tiring ourselves out too soon. Sounds like @Bmeggar is doing it too next month! It’s every second day from cd8, then when it’s peak day you do peak and two more, miss one then one more!

I misjudged my peak so had an extra day of BD in there too, ended up 5 in a row which wasn’t ideal 😂

God that looks like a crazy amount of 🍆 !! 😂 What am I letting myself in for?! 🤦🏼‍♀️😅

This was my peak opk last month or it may have just been high?! However i took it as a peak because i couldnt get my urine strong enough. I get head ache if i dont drink enough! So with the clear blue it will be easier to interpret the result xx

@MgW1 That looks strong to me! I was the same, I never really could tell when my peak was. I seemed to have a conistant low level of LH and it never seemed to get 'as' dark as the control. The CB test is more satisfying when you see the smiley face! You can also see the lines on the CB test stick after you eject it and the test line is visibily darker xx

When i took a pic of it and put it into my app i just got high and no peak. It was really stressfull! Thanks for your help on the matter! Il let you know how i get on with cb digital xx

I am CD21, 4 DPO. Normally AF expected between CD29-30. Feel good about this month so far 🤞 hopefully my accupuncture will make me more chill lol xx

@MgW1 better thanks lovely. I had a productive day, which always helps, and I've done a bit of reading on fertility friendly diets as I think I eat too much protein. I also had a small glass of wine 🤗 So now I'm feeling ready to just focus on my health for a couple of weeks before dtd takes over again 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

@MgW1 no I haven't tried those but definitely worth a shot. I'm holding back from buying any more until AF arrives just in case she doesn't (even though I'm pretty certain she will)x

Hi everyone! I am on my first cycle TTC. Fingers crossed for bfp in 2020.

@MgW1 yeah good plan. I think it's the mc that's thrown my ovulation date tbh. I think I'm pretty regular usually and the months I've temped always aligned with the opks in the past. I'm hoping this month is just an anomaly as the period I had last (first one after mc) was completely weird and 5days earlier than anticipated.

Oh god, not sure I could handle a UTI too...I've already blimin got thrush 🤦🏼‍♀️😂🤪xx
