TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Thank you everyone, sorry for the novice question but do I take the positive as final and contact the doctors or do I wait and do another in a few days?

@prettygreeneyes97 i'd take that as final and contact them :) I did my tests early so did a cleablue digital this morn as today my period would be due. We self refer here to midwives but I know some places to have to go through the doctors first.

Quest - if I dtd 3/2 nights before ovulation I'm I in for good chance?

@markygirl1995 definitely 😊 sperm can hang about for around 5 days I believe.

@Markygirl1995 I've read after you get a peak ovulation test, the egg is released 24-36 hours after that. So might be worth DTD again if you peaked last night. Although sperm can live for quite a few days so you might be covered xx

Its usually 8 weeks for midwife apt. So at my Gp.they told me to ring back at 6 weeks to arrange the apt but if you havent done it before then call them monday to ask xx

Thank you @MgW1 😊 ah see its different here, with my first you called the doctors, with my second you called the midwife and now its changed again and we self refer online to the midwives and they book you in between 7 and 9 weeks. And you can do that anytime from once you've found out.

@Markygirl1995 opk’s are hard to read aren’t they! I was doing like you are, just testing and reading them and I couldn’t catch a peak, so this month I’ve used the app Premom, where you can upload photos of the tests and it reads them for you, it’s so much better!

@Sunflowers81 inhave that app but I dont think it's very accurate as I take one and its low then again same one then it's high 🤷🏻‍♀️ next time well get clear blue or just the DTD every other day in the ovulating week. Xxx

Hey @Markygirl1995! I definetley recommend the clearblue digital ovulation tests 👍 I was absolutley useless at trying to determine where my peak was on the strip OPKs. Now the smiley faces are so clear to understand. Plus knowing when your estrogen rise just before LH is quite interesting too and it all syncs via bluetooth to the clearblue app so you can check back on previous cycles etc. In a moment of late-night-TTC madness worrying, I nearly splurged and bought the CB monitor but decided on the CB sticks which seem to do exactly the same thing except they dont test for pregnancy and I am glad I didnt spend £80 quid. Xx

And its just not easy 🙈 is it. I just got it from supermarket. You need to drink plenty water during lead up to ovulation as well , its worth trying xx

@gracie2307 I was convinced I was pregnant but not had a real period when I got the pink but no. As for this month with the late ov I won't know when I'm actually late so it's going to be a nightmare 🙈 I feel grand, still none of my usual pains which is weird for me but trying not to get my hopes up as this is cycle 12 now 😔 They also say it takes 3 months for the procieve to work so think it will be another cycle or two at least, if it does work. Weekend has been grand just studying, wbu? How you feeling?
