Literally furiously knitting hats now to keep busy. Also trying not to drink during the week. Why am I doing this to myself again. Trying to wait until period due date, which according to the app is next Tuesday. Had a drop in basal temperature this morning but they are usually a bit mixed so hoping not a sign.

@MummyToPrince thanks so much! Just twiddling my thumbs waiting for him to come round. Had a comedy moment this morning at 7am when I realised we had run out of syringes. Emergency dash to Asda to get infant calpol with an oral syringe. Whew!

It never ceases to amaze me how even though I try to plan so much and it’s constantly on my mind, I will forget something.... wish me luck ladies ! Xx

Thanks both! OPK are negative and temps are low (but I do have EECM) so this one is definitely early, I’m glad we have Thursday as well as I think that one will be on the money... predicted ovulation is Friday on the apps.

We’ve left it as he will come on Thursday or Friday depending on what the OPKs show.

He’s here now doing his thing!

I’m feeling cautiously optimistic. Had a lovely chat with our donor as well who reassured me that he’s in this for the long haul and doesn’t want us to stress as it will take longer.... he said he’s never had any success with anyone who has driven by and picked it up which is why he came round.

We’ve decided to watch the ovulation sticks closely to time the second one as Thursday I would have to pick up, but Friday he could potentially come round.

This cycle feels more exciting than stressful. It’s amazing how much pressure has been lifted by increasing it to two shots.

I’m super grateful for all the kind words and support on here as well. It’s like being cheered on from the sidelines x

Maintaining my good vibes about this cycle. I feel like I’m doing everything I can and I think doing an early insemination has taken some of the pressure off.

I’ve had a confusing set of OPKs (attached) though it looks like I might have peaked yesterday which I guess would mean ovulation today? But my temp is still low (also attached).

I’m gonna keep testing and see what my temp shows tomorrow. But I’m still thinking Thursday is better than Friday ....

How is everyone else doing? Is anyone testing or in the 2WW? I’ve lost track abit since the flurry of pregnancies!!

@Supermathsdoc looks like a peak on CD13 to me. Sometimes I have to move the automatic bars on the picture taken on that app.
I have ordered tests sensitive to 10mIU and thankfully (or not as I am impatient) it says they will arrive Saturday which will be 11DPO and there is no way I will be able to stop myself then.
I am feeling like it won't happen though as my temps have dropped two days in a row and no symptoms of yet.

(I think) I felt ovulation last night (CD14). This fits with what looks like a peak (even though app says low) on CD 13...

Ive had a temp rise this morning but just at the top of the cover line. Peak EWCM was on Tuesday and now it’s gone....

I’m really glad he came round on Tuesday as I think now the ship has sailed. I’m going to keep testing today but I don’t think an emergency dash round to his to pick up a sample is going to add anything unless I see a second peak today.

I can’t fault the timing this cycle, so it’s all on the egg quality now!

Thanks so much, I can definitely feel the excitement for you too! I’m in 2 minds about pushing for another sample tonight. Mostly because I don’t want my donor to get annoyed, he emailed me to say if you think you will ovulate 3 days after the first donation I will come again, if it’s earlier you should be covered. Which I agree with.

I’m pretty sure I ovulated last night. I did an OPK this morning and it was very much negative. If this afternoons one is as well I’ll email him as see what he thinks...

I definitely feel better about this one than last month where I knew deep down it was too late

We’ve decided on another sample tonight. He was of the ‘can’t hurt’ mindset.

I’m on CD8 and a bit confused as still spotting slightly, but have done 2 OPKS - one am and then one about 5 mins ago and they are both saying ‘high’. Not sure whether it’s a sign and should DTD?!
My OPK’s aren’t normally that strong just after AF? X

Not sure why it was blurry in the last pic 🤷🏼‍♀️ X

@BettyM90 that is confusing. I think the OPKs are so unreliable I totally wasn’t expecting my peak when I got it and it was so much lower than previous peaks I didn’t know whether to believe it.

Do you have any other signs like fertile CM?
I suppose if I was in your shoes I would DTD just in case and keep testing.... but given my unique situation I always tend to think I’d just have sex every day if that was how I could get pregnant!!

On that note I’m off to pick up the sample... I can think of about a million ways this might go wrong ....

This was what my OPK was like on CD8 last month...hardly a line at all. My husband literally thinks I’m mental 🤣 x

@BettyM90 how long have you been using the OPKs for? I’ve used them for 3 months and each month has been different, I was even thinking about getting that digital one that people rave about because I’ve found it so confusing!

I’m trying to use all the signs together (BBT, OPK and CM) and I’m starting to think the CM is the only think that’s really reliable....

Right that’s me done for this month. I literally did all that I could: including cycling through south London with a semen sample tucked between my boobs. You’ve got to laugh x

@Supermathsdoc this is the 2nd month that I have been using them. The month before that I was using the clear blue digital (the dual hormone one) but gave up as I always got flashy smileys. I might buy the pink one just as an extra?
I’m tempting too but don’t really know what I’m doing 🤣
Ha ha yes you definitely have to laugh about things...life’s too short to take things seriously!
