@MummyToPrince there are some women (Im not one of them) who just know their bodies, they know when they ovulate, when their pregnant, and exactly when their period is gonna come. For me, my period has always been a complete surprise! Despite a very regular cycle, I just never paid attention.

So now, when I think: is this a symptom? I have no idea. I can feel something and it’s either a very bad period or I’m pregnant, but it’s not a normal period.

4/10 boob soreness at the sides
I can definitely feel my uterus contracting
But I don’t feel sick or dizzy or headachy, or tired. I don’t have this metallic taste everyone talks about and I havnt developed a wolverine like Sense of smell !

robodo · 28/10/2020 19:45

@MummyToPrince sometimes you just know, I knew dont know how I had no symptoms but my head felt different, I also feel dizzy daily kinda like how you feel after you've been hungover all day slept and then you feel a bit shaky and dizzy, I dont want to get your hopes up but my fingers are absolutely crossed for you all x

MummyToPrince · 28/10/2020 19:53

@Supermathsdoc when I was pregnant with my son I never had that metallic taste. My boobs are sore on the sides bottom and tender nipples my left boob is worse than my right and I've got mild cramping, but I also had cramping with my son for quite a while, and my sense of smell didn't kick in until 8 weeks.. My partner just said "would you like me to go get you a test for the morning" hees a good egg but I don't think that's wise, I'm nervous the same as you but I have good feelings about this group this month! I pray everyone gets a BFP! X

@robodo honestly don't worry about getting my hopes up, I'm more worried about looking like a plonker 😂🤦‍♀️ I have everything crossed for you all and hope to see BFP! X

MummyToPrince · 28/10/2020 19:56

@robodo have you stopped testing? X

OP posts:
Supermathsdoc · 28/10/2020 21:17

@MummyToPrince that’s interesting that you had cramping with your son. I have assumed the cramps must be bad as it’s obviously my body trying to get rid of the lining.

My temps have been the only positive thing really as they are still high (not super high, just slightly above the cover line) I did also check my cervix (WTF) and it was kind of medium and firm. Having googled that, surprise surprise, it can mean anything, so that was worth it lol

but planning to test tomorrow and see what it brings....

RBCoxie · 28/10/2020 21:22

@MummyToPrince oh bless your OH! That's so sweet of him. My OH has been put off early testing by last month and doesn't want me touching a test until next Wednesday 😂 I'm feeling okay - exhausted as I've just finished work but feeling okay. I've had sharp pains in my right side today - milder than ovulation pain and nipples that sensitive to touch again 😐 i also have a weird stabbing pain 'up there' is the hardest thing to describe - almost like a stabbing pain in my vaginal wall/end of cervix - I know that sounds mental but it's happened quite a lot today! I just want to know nooooooow 😩

@Imworthit aw congratulations! What lovely news!

@Supermathsdoc I'm keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow!! I know what you mean, I had an ovarian cyst removed a couple of years back as it was starting to twist my ovary - even though it went okay, I've always been worried that it's going to have an impact on fertility. I also remember them saying something about the shape of my cervix but I was so high after the op at the time that I can't remember exactly what it was! I think about that all the time.

MummyToPrince · 28/10/2020 21:27

@Supermathsdoc yeah I remeber with my son I had awdul 'AF' cramps and she never turned up, the cramps where the muscles and ligaments preparing!

I told the OH not to get a test but he nipped out to asda (our family has been doing zoom call quizzes every Thursday during lock down and we get snack and wine) so he got some bits and come back with a cheap test, alcohol free kopperberg, snacks and some flowers, love him dearly! So you will probably see a test from me tomorrow too 😂🤦‍♀️ got everything crossed for you lovely

MummyToPrince · 28/10/2020 21:38

@RBCoxie since lock down every Thursday our family do a zoom quiz and we get snacks and wine so my oh went to asda and has picked me up a test, alcohol free kopperbergs snacks and flowers 😂 bless him so you will probably see a test from me in the morning :-) can't help myself now there's one in the house... Your pains sound like mine if I'm honest, and your boobs, are you still testing at the weekend? That pain you get in your foof is horrible isn't it! X

OP posts:
Supermathsdoc · 28/10/2020 21:45

I too have had this foof pain.

I’ve seen it called ‘lightning vagina‘. Which I thought was a cool description.

Supermathsdoc · 28/10/2020 21:49

@RBCoxie sorry to hear you’ve been through that. Ultimately we are both probably healthier and more fertile than if we hadn’t had those things done, but it’s hard to shake the niggling doubts. But I think everyone gets them....

RBCoxie · 28/10/2020 21:49

@MummyToPrince oh that is so sweet of him! Hahaha I don't blame you at all - I'd be testing as soon as possible if I were you so no judgement here! Oh really! I thought I was going mad with that stabbing pain - I was like what the hell is this?! I think I'll try to hold off for as long as possible even though I'm desperate to know. In a way, I'm hoping the tests take a while to arrive so I have no choice! x

RBCoxie · 28/10/2020 21:52

@Supermathsdoc lightening vagina! That's it! Glad it's not just me! 😂 yeah that's very true, just makes you wonder - I totally get it!!

BettyM90 · 28/10/2020 22:28

@MummyToPrince not much longer to wait until you can test :) I really hope you get your BFP 🤞🏻
I’m ok, thank you. The spotting has stopped, it only has appeared twice (once last night and then once this morning after DTD) still really confused as to what it was! I’m just really hoping this is the month 🤞🏻 My son keeps saying that he’s a big brother too which really isn’t helping the situation! 🤣 x
@Supermathsdoc oh gosh, that sounds awful. I can imagine that it must be hard to not think the worst but if medical professionals have reassured you that everything is ok and in working order then that is a big positive. Although, the 2WW can do ridiculously stupid things to your brain! From what I’ve read it sounds like you’ve timed things perfectly 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Have you had many symptoms? X
@Imworthit congratulations!! That’s such wonderful news 🥂x

BettyM90 · 28/10/2020 22:35

@Supermathsdoc sorry I didn’t see the other post before I sent my message.
With my first pregnancy I didn’t really get any of the ‘normal’ symptoms at all. I didn’t get the metallic taste, increased sense of smell (until after about 12 weeks) just had really extreme cramps which I thought was the onset of AF.
Lightning crotch is horrendous but also a good sign...I had that pretty much through my whole first pregnancy x

@MummyToPrince hahah!!! You knew it as well! Massive congratulations xx

Supermathsdoc · 29/10/2020 07:00

I’m afraid I’m out ladies.

Built up the courage to take a test this morning, Id already taken my temperature and seen it drop below the cover line But stark white on the HPT.

It could have been a million reasons but I think the timing was wrong. Hopefully I can stay positive and get my head into a place to plan for #5 in November....

Fingers crossed for everyone else who is testing xxx

MummyToPrince · 29/10/2020 07:07

@Supermathsdoc thank you, I literally cannot believe it even though I thought I was, I think because it's right in front of me now!

How many Dpo are you? Your not out until AF shows, I will continue this thread until every single one of you get a BFP.. I feel awful posting now, as I know what it feels like when someone gets a BFP and I don't x

@MummyToPrince you are so sweet! I think in my heart of hearts I knew it wasn’t for me this month - but I also had sneaky feeling about it being the one for you!

You are so kind with everyone, and I’m so happy to see this for you - also for your son who’s gonna be a big brother! Well done for your OH for coming back with the test and flowers last night!! I hope you have a big celebration planned xxx

robodo · 29/10/2020 07:13

@MummyToPrince congratulations!!!! So happy for you xx

@Supermathsdoc I'm so sorry to hear about your test - be kind to yourself today 💕 it will happen, we will all get there x

sophiemelissa · 29/10/2020 07:31

Ahhh line eyes?

Early response clear blue this morning - roughly 9 dpo - accidentally wee’d on the window!

I see a line but husband isn’t sure!

Thoughts please before I drive myself mad all day!

Supermathsdoc · 29/10/2020 07:34

@RBCoxie thanks so much. Yeah my partner is being very lovely which helps a lot, so I think I will allow myself a day to feel sad and then pick myself up!

Here’s hoping we see many more BFPs!! X

MummyToPrince · 29/10/2020 07:36

@Supermathsdoc thank you lovely, you are also so kind to everyone, but I'm serious I'm staying until everyone has a BFP :-) I will be exactly 12 weeks on Christmas day so my OH said we will get a private scan at 11 weeks and surprise family at Christmas, thank you so so much! X

@robodo thank you chick :-) was a shock even though I thought I was x

@BellaBella84 I definitely am :-) I can now be happy feeling sick and dizzy x
