@MummyToPrince obviously couldn't resist and did one just now - darker than my last one a few days ago but still light, not as dark as yours! I do feel better actually 😂 I feel like this could bridge the gap between now and testing properly x

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 15:20

@RBCoxie yeah I definitely think it will bridge the gap, I don't feel the urge anymore I just want to see what my OPK will look like in the morning 😂 x

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 16:50

@robodo oh wow that's super interesting :-) x

Ive got a weird feeling in my left side, it's like a pulling and pinching feeling with a bit of ache/slight cramp

Hi everyone

@robodo those lines are very reassuring looking. I also have a good feeling about this month, not really for myself, but I think some of us are definitely gonna be celebrating!

@MummyToPrince I think I have had similar pains, as I was typing this I sneezed and it replicated a sharp sided groin pain I had the other day.

Woke up with 3 spots on my chin (hot stuff) allowed myself a few minutes Googling ‘chin spots early pregnancy’ and have done no more since. Work has been a good distraction.

Hope you’ve all had / are having good days x

robodo · 26/10/2020 17:49

@Supermathsdoc I never have spots my chin is covered i thought it was from full PPE at work but not sure x

Supermathsdoc · 26/10/2020 17:58

@robodo oh that’s interesting! I hardly ever get spots, that’s why I was Googling like a woman possessed! From what I can tell it’s another gift from progesterone, which of course you have either way....

I do spend 2-3 hours a day convincing myself that something I have is definitely a) different to my usual b) a sign of pregnancy. followed by another 2 hours feeling like it’s definitely not either of those things, and I should have paid more attention to my body before TTC !

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 18:38

@Supermathsdoc I Google 4dpo mumsnet and then the following day 5dpo 😂😂😂 I've done it everyday and today I googled 7dpo mumsnet 😂😂

So I've just had a realisation that if we fall pregnant our due dates would be in July, this kinda scares me as its a bad month for me

OP posts:
BellaBella84 · 26/10/2020 18:54

@Supermathsdoc @robodo Can I highly recommend sand and sky face mask? It's flippin expensive but worth every penny, particularly for PPE related face craters!
@MummyToPrince How come July's so bad?

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 19:00

@BellaBella84 14th July 2018 my mum sadly passed away, she was 45 and I was 21 weeks pregnant with my son at the time, she passed away holding my hand, I don't mind giving birth in that month I just don't want to give birth on that day or a few days before or after x

BellaBella84 · 26/10/2020 19:02

Oh God @MummyToPrince That's awfull. And so young too, I'm so sorry. ❤️

RBCoxie · 26/10/2020 19:10

@MummyToPrince gosh I'm so sorry lovely, that's awful. I totally get that that month would be really hard.

Funnily enough, I've got spots all over my chin too 😂 I've been in a foul mood all day - really emotional with ridiculous things at work and generally irritable. God I love hormones 🙄

Supermathsdoc · 26/10/2020 19:12

@MummyToPrince oh that’s so young, I’m so sorry to hear that... that must be a really tough time of year for you x

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 19:12

@BellaBella84 No need to be sorry, it's a part of life but should never have been taken at such a yound age, mum had aggressive cancer and it got to her brain unfortunately and to top it off I have a shit MIL 😂 I don't think I would have coped if it wasn't for my partner and my son x

OP posts:
MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 19:14

@RBCoxie @Supermathsdoc honestly it's fine, it's just a tough month... Well I haven't got unwanted friends on my chin I've got one in the middle of my forehead 😂😂 xx

RBCoxie · 26/10/2020 19:28

@MummyToPrince well if we do get our BFPs this month then we can start another group for our pregnancies and keep this support going! 😊 x

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 19:34

@RBCoxie I was thinking about that earlier how lovely would it be for us all to go into a first trimester thread together :-) what are your thoughts on this month? X

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 26/10/2020 19:42

@MummyToPrince that would be really lovely! It would be great to talk to people who have gone through it all already - I'm sure I'll be starting with the 'is this normal?!' pretty quickly 😂 not feeling positive for me this month - I think it's because I've had pretty much all the symptoms of AF just really early so I'm expecting it to arrive any minute. I try to rationalise it and remind myself that it's because of progesterone but it's just such a weird feeling! Negative Nellie day for me today - sorry girls! 😔 x

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 19:47

@RBCoxie haha I was like that with my son however I didn't have any morning sickness, I did read earlier that one lady had really bad pains and it turned out to bee implantation, your not out until the witch shows! Everything croosed including my legs that she doesn't arrive! I feel odd this month as today my nipples have got increasingly sore and I had mild cramps and pulling and pinching sensation not much to report... I have to keep telling self off because a part of me wants to go get some tests 😂🤦‍♀️ x

OP posts:
MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 19:48

@RBCoxie don't be sorry, we all go through it :-) x

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 26/10/2020 19:54

@MummyToPrince interesting! I've still had AF cramps today, mainly this morning tbf, and my sensitive nipples are still there - no pinching or pulling like last month! Hardly any CM - I swear my body just doesn't produce that stuff! Haha I was thinking about tests too but then I read about the OPK thing which is a happy middle ground for me. I keep hearing @BellaBella84 in my head (even though I have no idea what you sound like!) whenever I'm thinking about crazy early testing 😂 x

Supermathsdoc · 26/10/2020 20:02

I’ve been on and off about testing as well. But I did read that only 10% of get BFP at 10DPO and the average is 13 DPO so I’m gonna try and hold out so that I can stay at least intermittently optimistic for a bit longer!

A first trimester thread would be so lovely!

MummyToPrince · 26/10/2020 20:02

@RBCoxie a lot of people including myself have said we had that feeling then got a BFP with my son and it continues after too... You DTD enough times to make a football team so you 100% chance :-) yeah I'm keen to see what the opks will look like first thing in the morning.. Yeah I'm the same with @BellaBella84 message haha x

RBCoxie · 26/10/2020 20:05

@Supermathsdoc oh that's interesting! Do you know if the length of your luteal phase impacts that at all? I'm 13DPO on Sunday but AF isn't due until Wednesday so still would be quite early. I have no idea how the length of your luteal phase impacts anything!
