Fertile window 10-15 October. Anyone with me?

I'm on CD15, TTC baby #1 and on cycle #8. I got a positive opk yesterday so today should be O day . Anyone else in the same boat and looking to test at the end of the month ? Having others might make this TWW more tolerable. Really starting to get discouraged after so many months of bfns.

@jules5232 hey I'm on CD14 expecting to ovulate today or tomorrow, TTC#1 cycle #3. This is my first month tracking BBT so I'm hoping to see a spike tomorrow x

Hi @xWaterfallx ! Do you use OPKs or always fall on the same dates? I've been finally considering starting BBT tracking next month if this month doesnt work out, so I'd love to hear how you get along.

Hi! I am on CD13, TTC#1, cycle #5. Flo app says I'm due to ovulate in 2 days, this is the first cycle I have been using OPKs, so far not positive.

Feeling quite down this cycle as lots of people I know seem to be getting pregnant easily, of course I'm happy for them but it's making me feel like something is wrong even though realistically I know we haven't been trying that long. Will try to keep positive as for us all x

@jules5232 I've not tried OPKs yet, thought I'd start with BBT monitoring. Although the first thermometer I bought was a standard one and unreliable, so had to buy another more sensitive one! I came off the pill 3 months ago, so first cycle was 21 days, second cycle 26 days, hoping this one will be 28 days. I've previously not been able to work out if or when I've ovulated, so the BBT should help! Which OPK's are you using? Do you find other signs such as CM match with when the OPK shows positive?

Me.... According to my app today is ovulation day (And my nipples strangely hurt) Ive had 3 consecutive miscarriages but took a chance and dtd yesterday so ☺️🤞

@Luckyelephant1 I know what you mean. It seems like everyone around me has been getting pregnant since we started trying. It's such a hard emotion to work through, isnt it? I am happy for them but it also just makes me sad and nervous. When I started with OPKs the first month I had a hard time catching the peak until I started testing in the morning. That helped a lot.

@xWaterfallx I can almost always tell a positive opk test is coming based on CM so they seem to line up pretty well! I just use internet cheapie (pregmate brand or similar) What thermometer did you end up getting? I just started searching and it's hard to tell which are sensitive enough.

@Furbabymum15 That is so hard!! I am so sorry to hear you've went through so much. It's fun to see our O dates are the same, though. I hope the next two weeks go quickly

Hello :) this week has been my fertile week. Had my first positive OPK on Tuesday since I started using them in August (woohoo). I think I ovulated yesterday but my app says today. I have sore nipples today and a slight temp rise this morning which I hope means I did yesterday...hopefully the temp will stay elevated for the next few days.
If I have ovulated I’m pleased but also worried as wondering what this means about my luteal phase...I’m due on 24th but hoping that’ll be pushed back! Ahhh there’s so much to think about isn’t there. Good luck everyone!

@jules5232 I bought a Femometer thermometer and I'm using the app, although I went for the cheaper version (£9.99 from Amazon) so you have to manually enter it into the app. They do a more expensive version which links in to app. Over the past few days my temp has kept going down, although app thinks I should have ovulated yesterday. I'm expecting my temp to go up tomorrow to show ovulation happened, if it doesn't, then either the thermometer isn't working or I'm not ovulating 😕, will let you know!

@Furbabymum15 so sorry to hear you've had 3 consecutive miscarriages 😔, wishing you luck for this cycle! Are you getting any help from GP or fertility doctor?

@CharityRoyall if your temp rose yesterday then it's likely you ovulated the day before, although if it's only a very small rise, could mean it's not happened yet. How was your temp this morning?

Hi @xWaterfallx I might have ovulated on the 14th (CD21) which is quite late. BBT was 36.39 on the 14th, 36.51 yesterday which I was excited about but then this morning it’s 36.44 so no big spike like I keep seeing in people’s charts...do you think this means it hasn’t happened?

@CharityRoyall hmm that's odd your temp has come down again, as normally you'd expect it to stay high after ovulation. You got a positive on the OPK so that's a good sign. Lots of things can affect temp (sleep, alcohol, illness, stress, drinking cold/hot water) so could be something else that's caused it to dip.

@xWaterfallx yeah I’m trying not to stress too much about it as they wouldn’t be good but it’s worrying me that I haven’t had a higher temp. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see!

Hey I'll hop on as well! I'm 2DPO so ovulated on Wednesday. TTC#1, I'm 32 and this is cycle 10 for me :)

@xWaterfallx Just ordered one! I didnt see that brand when looking but I like the price. Excited to try it out throughout next month, and also silently hoping I wont need to...

@jules5232 yes hopefully you won't need to 😊. If the thermometer works well I'll post a pic of my chart when I've got some more readings, I'm still eagley awaiting the ovulation spike!

Hello! I'm currently somewhere in my fertile window! Two trackers have a difference of three days - opk test yesterday and today were positive. Already driving myself crazy not sure how I'm going to cope for these next two weeks!!!
We've been 'not not' trying for five months, this is our first month trying using ov tests and trying more seriously and I hate how much I'm already obsessing!!!
Roll on end of the month!!

Hi @BrownF89 we are in the same boat, I'm on cycle 5 too with the first month of using OPKs properly.

I'm a bit confused as I feel like yesterday the OPK was on its way to reaching peak (the test line everyday was getting progressively darker) but today the test line was fainter than yesterday. No idea what this means, have I somehow missed ovulation?! Defo have EWCM atm so just DTD everyday for a few days during fertile window and then back to every other day until time to take a test.

@Luckyelephant1 could it have been a diluted test when the lines werent as strong? Or maybe the peak happened in between the two? It sounds like you are BDing enough though, so you should be okay either way!

@BrownF89 welcome! 😁 I remember when I switched from not not trying to trying and all of a sudden I had to learn everything and know everything that was happening in my body.

What dates are you looking at testing? According to tracker one i can test on the 27th at the earliest but thinking for my sanity i should go with the worst case tracker and wait until the 30th!

Thanks guys yeah I think maybe it was diluted. How quickly does the peak come and go on an OPK?

@BrownF89 Flo app says AF is due on the 1st but I do tend to vary between a 28 or 29 day cycle. I am usually pretty impatient but this month I will force myself to wait until the 1st and if AF hasn't come by the evening I'll take a test.

@Luckyelephant1We seem to be in sync! My femometer app says I'm due on the 1st and I fluctuate between a 28&29 day cycle too.

@Luckyelephant1 my peaks will normally last 1 to two days. I only test in the morning though, because I couldn't find a good balance of drinking enough water and not diluting for a test. This month I only got a positive on one day.

@BrownF89 my app says I can test on the 27th but I'm hoping I can make it til the 1st. Well see how long I hold up though!

@jules5232 @BrownF89 I got a definite positive OPK today! Following the SMEP method so according to that I should test on the 2nd, let's see if I can wait that long!

Hope you're all feeling good. I'm feeling a bit more positive as it's the first cycle I'm using OPKs and at least I know my body is definitely releasing LH as it should now.

Agree with luckyelephant that it's nice seeing positive tests and knowing things are working how they should be! After 13 years on the pill you hear horror stories of how it affects you long term so feeling positive!
My first tracker has updated itself today. Ov should have been yesterday but I presume because of a higher opk result its changed to today! (For now!) And because of that now the earliest i can test is 29th so definitely definitely need to hold off until the 1st!

Hi guys how are you all doing? I'm struggling not to take a (far too early) pregnancy test. No pregnancy symptoms at all really. My Flo app says I may get implantation bleeding today but nothing at the moment. Although I did ovulate 1 day later than the app predicted. Arrghhh I just want to fast forward 1 week!

Hey everyone, I ended up ovulating on CD18 so a few days later than expected (currently 5DPO). Means I can't test till 31st Oct when I'll be 12DPO. When is everyone planning on testing?

Yesterday my cervical mucus was slightly creamy, lotion like, which apparently can be a pregnancy sign but not getting my hopes up!

@Luckyelephant1 I think implantation bleeding happens in about 25% of pregnancies, so don't worry if you don't see any!
