In other news, OH has been called by the clinic to let he know he can't do his SA on site but will have to bring a sample in within an hour of production. Good thing (it's not a good thing!) this is a 9.30 am appointment in the City so OH is now worried he might have to sort himself out at the office lol!

I need to vent!!! For gods sake I have tried EVERYTHINGGGGGGGG to get pregnant 😬 😭 this is so annoying! What else do I need to try? For fuck sake 😣 I can't believe this every month its the same shit I'm so done with this!!!!!!!

@katao yeah I have a 9 year old! My partner has had investigations an he has a higher than average sperm count and shape etc is all good no problems, he got someone pregnant before years ago but they were young and didn't keep it. I don't know if this has anything to do with the fact my ovaries are polystic but I don't have the syndrome, so I have like 20 follicles instead of 6? 😓 Anyway it's just a bad day, finally got my OH to look at ivf packages which has made me feel better to at least try and help the situation! This journey is just draining and consuming. Maybe I was naive to think it wouldn't take long but this takes the biscuit. How are you?

@Minster2012 that would be awesome!!! Anyways my OH is fed up I think now, he's asked me to do my home work on the best options for ivf. What do you think? There's a place in Harley Street and one cycle is £2500 all inclusive and that's god finance plan which is really good, so even if we needed to cycles its 5 grand and achievable with the finance option. We don't have the money to pay outright so it would need to be on finance. The options for 3 cycles on finance aren't great fro the what I can see I need to research more. Any advise? Xx

@2020mission so so frustrating. Like if my body could say OK you'll be pregnant in 24 months I'd be like sweet I know when it's going to happen lol even if it does take a whole but the not knowing is the killer

@Missgoldilocks when you say all inclusive does that include freezing for any remaining embryos, and does it include embryo PGS testing? What about storage costs of any frozen embryos? Testing is not something we've done but if you can get that too that's great. £2,500 for a cycle is a good price tbh. And Harley street you would hope good!! I can check our prices when I get home if you like? I think that's cheaper, I think ours is around £4000 for a fresh transfer cycle
(I might head to Harley street in that case might be asking you if next one fails 😂)

@Minster2012 ah I mentioned getting a greyhound rescue as they barely need walking and sleep all day so I'd feel less guilty when I go to work. Skip then mentioned that her friend fostered one and it was super destructive and ruined lots of things. I was hoping it was a dog not the breed kinda issue!

Girls I'm getting my shizzle together and getting back on to myfitnesspal today. I figured if I'm good until xmas I can actually lose 4-5 kg by then (9-11 lbs) and I sure could use it before I spend xmas week in a food and alcohol induced coma!

@Minster2012 yep what @Juno231 said re greyhound.
My friends fostered a rescue greyhound when they were both at home a lot, then when it went on to it's forever home the reports were that it destroyed the place! I'm sure it was just a particularly needy dog as it had been rescued, but not necessarily a trait of all greyhounds.

@Skip86 @Minster2012 although the greyhound trust here has all these training leaflets etc on their site and one of them mentions what to do it they have separation anxiety and that if they do or are super bored they can get destructive... I have a feeling I could have this with any dog tbf. My family friend's sausage dog would revenge pee on furniture if left at home alone lol!

Just had a cry at work as AF has arrived.

@Juno231 how do you even lose weight with fitness pal 😭 I've been calorie counting for weeks at a big deficit and I've had no loss whatsoever, if anything a gain!

@Missgoldilocks I feel your pain. Really feeling as if I've been punished today. And my nightmares are becoming real life. I said to OH what if that was our only chance of becoming pregnant and feel like that's going to become true now x

@Juno231 could totally be any dog tbh, though there are of course more separation anxiety prone ones (don't get a vizla!) or a pointer like mine unless you have another dog or put in a lot of training. But my friends rescue greyhound is the absolute type like you say, he has a walk for half an hour before her work, he then settles himself on his MASSIVE cushion til she can usually pop back for lunch then a little pootle then sleep again til the kids back from school
Lots of other similar dogs too. I do a mixture of Pilates, HIIT and I tried to do the Kayla itsa you sent me but kinda forgot!!

@2alreadywantanother Thank you. I think I’ve officially come to the end of my tether- after 24 long months, I am angry and devastated and I can’t think it’ll ever happen. I feel more hopeless than I ever have.
