Re: family over 4 xmas- i get what mean about the preparation ie food etc.

@selina37 give your new home some positive affirmation ( like cleanse/ blessings). You might just have the xmas bfp 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I remember someone on one this very thread was decorating her bedroom and fell pregnant. The decorating completely distracted her from ttc. Think her username was matilda.

I can't quite believe it but at 13dpo and af due tomorrow, we got our BFP the first cycle we tried! Eep! 😊

@Happyhappy37 Ooh I wanted to watch that but am working. Struggling with the kids having to self isolate all the time and getting our jobs done, but we're relatively healthy and no drama so very fortunate in the scheme of things. So glad you're well, lovely to have this virtual network out there in these dark days 😊x

@Sleeeeeepy ah its difficult at times. Glad you are healthy and not having to deal
with any drama. Currently isolating with my lil one. Its frustrating because I cant go to uni. Assignments are kicking my ass 🤣Overall, i am doing great, i rarely think of the current situation that we are all living in.
Are you working nights?

@Happyhappy37 No we just both work full time and with our 4 year old at home all week (again) we can't get our jobs done so end up working evenings and weekends. Sorry you can't get your assignments done, that must be stressful. I hope you're out of isolation soon and get a bit of a break in soon x

Hi everyone, a first post for me after lurking about for some time.

I'm 39 (40 in March) and ttc baby #2. I have a super long cycle of around 38 days, pcos, hormone issues, plus the cardinal sin of being overweight which means I get zero help from my gp.

This month I think I had my LH surge on cd26/27 (using opks) so hoping I've ovulated, and on cd29 now. Not holding out much hope, but thought I'd come and spend time with folks who understand that horrible wait til af arrives.

Very grateful to have a ds of 2y8m, but not ready to give up hope of adding another to our little family if we're lucky.

@selina37 trying my best to remain positive and optimistic, it’s not always easy but important to try and keep this mindset when we can. And when we can’t that’s ok too, we can wallow as long as we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and get cracking with it all again!

@Happyhappy37 ds is also begging for the Christmas tree etc to go up! I may give in at the weekend as tbh I would quite like it up too 🎄 get some sparkly cheer about the place- also it’s a good excuse for a mulled wine 🍷
