No OPKs here so I've been checking for EWCM. None of that either so hoping I ovulate around the same time I did last month as we might be okay. My DD is unwell (again) and is waking every 30 minutes so we don't have a great deal of time anyway!

@SS123456 @kirinm going to try and hold out until Monday at 11dpo when AF is due but will see how I feel Sunday!

Had cramping on and off since ovulation and a headache since Tuesday but no other symptoms really. I'm not feeling particularly hopeful though.

@Rotagilla fingers crossed you get your BFP in the next couple of days!

Going to try and persuade OH to dtd a bit later and use pre-seed this time. We haven't had any luck with it before but it's worth a shot I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️. I've got EWCM today, a peak opk, and slight ovulation pains so hopefully it will up our chances 🤞🏻

AF should be due sometime towards the end of next week but have no idea when. It’s kind of been a lot easier not being able to count how many DPO I am! Still worried about an anovulatory cycle though 😕

@MrsB2019x I feel like I will be able to wait, it's gone quite quickly this month!

My DP keeps asking if I've tested yet / if I'm pregnant yet / if I need him to buy me any tests and it's the first month he's really been interested so let's hope that's a good omen 😂

@whambam89 maybe he's realised it actually takes two to make things happen and it's dawned on him that it will be better if he is fully invested 🤞🏻. Most men seem to leave all that side to the woman so it's great that he is getting involved 😊

My DP has also started to show a lot more interest too. I think he's surprised by how long we've been trying with no success.

I think it's cycle 10? It's my 6th cycle on this thread!!

Have found what looks a bit like EWCM. Going to do an OPK when we get home later. Really hope I've not missed my peak.

Cycle 10 for us too 👎 (which is excluding the 3 cycles we weren’t allowed to try after the ectopic). We have been TTC since October 2019

It's just so rubbish that it's taking so long isn't it 😔

My temp did a 0.2 rise this morning so I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday as my boobs started to get a bit sore yesterday afternoon too. We dtd with pre-seed last night so I think that is all we can do for this month now

My OH has his children over today so I am super pleased the shops are now back open as it gives me somewhere to escape to today 😁

Does that mean you ovulated the day of your peak @SS123456 ?

@kirinm Usually I ovulate the day after my peak but I had a peak over two days this time around so I'm assuming the second day was my ovulation day. I guess I'll see what my bbt does over the next few days as that should hopefully confirm the day. When can you take your first opk?

I have really struggled to bond with his children unfortunately. We have been together nearly 3 years but I have only been around the children for the last 12 months as his ex withheld them when he met me and made him take her to court (court is still ongoing 2 years later and is really draining on us). At risk of sounding snobby (because I'm really not!) his ex and me come from very different walks of life and the childrens behaviour and manners are of a very different standard to what I expect of my DS so it causes some issues. My OH moved into my house which I had spent years doing up before I met him so I struggle when they come over and are disrespectful of our rules and the things I have worked hard for in the house. The youngest child was the result of a one night stand with his ex (they had already split up) before he met me so I also struggle with looking after her as I feel quite resentful that she was an accident baby when we can't have a child together which we very much want. I try my best to keep away when they are over as it causes friction between myself and my OH because I always end up being bad cop and doing the discipline and structure. It's sad as it's the one and only thing that ever comes between us as we raise my DS together perfectly. The children will start coming for whole weekend (overnight) from this month which I can't say I am looking forward to, at least at the moment they go home at the end of the day 😩

On the plus side though I had a nice morning browsing the shops as my DS is with his dad this weekend 😁

@SS123456 tricky. Especially as when you do have a child, it'll be a sibling of theirs.

I just got home so next toilet trip I'll do an OPK. I've got a feeling I'm going to ovulate today. Hopefully I'm wrong and we've got a couple of days.

I got a smiley face. Not sure if it is the end of ovulation or it's just about to happen. I'm hoping for another peak tomorrow. When I take the test out of the machine thing, the second line isn't very dark.

@kirinm that's the part I dread about ttc tbh. I couldn't trust OHs kids around a baby so I'll likely do all the parenting alone on the weekends they are with us. I raised my son on my own though so it won't be anything new I guess (his dad disappeared for 3 years). It's an unfortunate situation to be in but I'm trying to make the best of it but it is really hard

Have you got any cheap opks you could use? At least then you could see how dark it is?

They're only small aren't they? My DP's niece is quite aggressive with her baby brother but it is her feeling jealous and reacting like a 3 year old does. I don't think it'll last.

I think having a step family is quite difficult and trying to ensure all the kids involved don't feel rejected is really hard. Even my DP and DS had issues and he was 16 when they met each other.

No other OPKs. All I can do is DTD and hope we've caught it.

@kirinm the youngest is nearly 3 and the oldest is 9 but he has special needs so his behaviour is similar to a toddler/younger child. The oldest pushes and shouts at the little one so it does worry me what he would be like with a baby. Yeah it is definitely really hard to blend families. My OH doesn't really accept how severe his sons needs are and I actually didn't know about his special needs until I met him 2 years into our relationship. I have openly said to my OH that if I had met his children at the start of our relationship I would not have pursued things any further so it's hard to now find it all being a bit forced upon me. We have a great relationship and he is an amazing step dad to my son so I just have to keep focusing on our day to day family unit to get me through as our life outside their time with us is great 😊

Fingers crossed you do manage it! Is your gut and symptoms telling you it has happened already?

@MrsB2019x we also started trying Oct 2019 and had 3 months we couldn't try after the ectopic so must be 10 cycles total but 7 since the ectopic. Had a lovely day today shopping and putting our decorations up, really feel like I'm going to be able to wait until Monday to test which is the latest I've tested in ages and I've even got tests in the house!

@SS123456 I got my peak the day I ovulated this month as well, makes me wonder if this has been the case for a few months (only my 2nd month temping) and would mean my LP is actually a day longer than I thought.

@SS123456 I feel quite crampy so would be very surprised if today isn't ovulation day. I would just like one more day to DTD so I feel like I've got a chance! I'm worried I might have missed it. Especially as you and @whambam89 got your peaks on the day of ovulation!
