@Rotagilla that's shocking, I'm so sorry! I would say you either missed the peak or as the others have said, your body will try again to ovulate shortly. Have you had any other usual ovulation symptoms like sore boobs?

Does anyone else suffer with ovulation cramps? I literally feel like AF is about to start today and I never get them like this - sometimes the odd twinge. Hoping it's a sign of a nice ripe egg (or 2.. can you imagine?!) being released 😂

@whambam89 I never really have ovulation pain of any sort, maybe a couple of niggles every now and then? But I don’t get them every month 🤨

@MrsB2019x yeah I usually get the odd niggle but this has been really uncomfortable! Does seem to have eased a bit now thankfully. How are you getting on? X

@whambam89 I can get some really uncomfortable cramps around ovulation. Doesn't seem to happen every month which is annoying as they act as a useful guide! But I also get cramps a few days after ovulation too. Not sure why.

@whambam89 In a state of flux atm, not sure what’s going on! Will assess the boobs in the morning and let you know 🤣 They are on fire the day after ovulation without fail 🔥

@whambam89 I get very mild and brief period type pain around ovulation sometimes but it's not overly noticeable

OHs home sperm test came back super high for count and motility. Why are we just not falling though, my initial tests were all fine through the gp too 🤷🏻‍♀️

@SS123456 great news about OH's sperm, hopefully it's just one of those things and now you both know everything is in working order and can relax a bit you'll get that BFP 🤞

Temp has spiked this morning so I'm going to guess I ovulated late on yesterday,CD19

@whambam89 yeah fingers crossed it will just take some time. We had a virtual open eve with a fertility clinic last night and I've emailed them today to book in some tests just to be sure. I've had some bloods done already but this one will check my egg reserve on an ultrasound and also check my uterus and tubes for blockages/problems. As part of it OH will also have a 'proper' sperm test (we did one at home we bought online so may not be completely accurate) so I guess at least then we can relax a bit and know that it likely will happen of it's own accord at some point 🤞🏻

@SS123456 I don’t think so. I’ve stopped doing OPKs and that and just going off what my body tells me, which isn’t pointing towards having ovulated yet ☹️ I’m CD18 today.

@MrsB2019x our bodies like to throw a curve ball every now and again! Hopefully you'll ovulate in the next couple of days 🤞

@whambam89 I'm sure I've felt the moment of ovulation a few times, a sharp pain followed by cramps but never lasts long and not every cycle...

@SS123456 glad it was good news about the swimmers...fingers crossed when you know there's no issue as such it will help you relax and you will fall soon

I think I'm going to adopt a 'more relaxed' approach this month. I don't think I can be bothers with OPKs. I say that now on CD5. Let's see how we are in a week

@kirinm I tell myself that every month and I'm a paranoid mess by 8dpo 😂

We have booked our first fertility clinic appointment for the 22nd Dec 😁🎉. This will initially just be to take a urine and blood sample from me. Roughly 2 weeks later we then both go along together. At that appoinment they look at a sperm sample from OH and I have to have done a Hycosy and an ovary scan. These are to check my egg reserve and also to check for blockages in tubes, polyps etc. We have to abstain (even with protection) the whole cycle up to that point so hopefully it won't time so we miss ovulation that month 🤞🏻

@SS123456 that's great news, really hope you get some answers - it's not too long to wait for you either. It'll be typical that you'll get your BFP this month now 😂

I said that earlier to my OH as I was booking it! 😂. The clinic did say as long as you cancel with 48 hours notice you can get a refund though which is good of them as it's £700!

@SS123456 Ooft that’s a lot of money! If I had it I’d pay it too just for that piece of mind. Let us know how you get on!

Not sure if it is of interest to anyone, or if I'm just late to the party, but apparently a coq10 supplement can help with egg quality. It's not something I had heard of before but I've just ordered some as thought it may be worth a shot 🤷🏻‍♀️

Boobs still don’t hurt at all, which is super unusual. So either I have ovulated and my body hasn’t reacted to it like it usually would (which has never happened since I started tracking), I’ve still yet to ovulate but it’s never been this late, or I’m having an anovulatory cycle ☹️

@SS123456 I did take them for a while but didn't make any difference so I gave up 😂

@MrsB2019x how strange! Have you got any OPKs in to track it that way? Have you had EWCM or anything indicating that you may have ovulated already?

@MrsB2019x I had exactly the same thing happen to me last cycle (first time ever like you too) but the soreness did eventually kick in about a week later than usual. I know I ovulated as I temp so I just assumed it was due to it being straight after my miscarriage but perhaps it was just one of those weird things our bodies decide to do to keep us on our toes?!

I'm having the strangest cycle this month. My resting heart rate is all over the place and my temp rose 0.3 today but I'm CD9. Opks are negative so all very strange! 🤷🏻‍♀️

@whambam89 I imagine I'll likely do the same after a few months on them too 😂
