No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

Tag anyone I've forgotten please, and new party-goers always welcome :)

@Trying4one Congratulations! A little June baby am I right? Super wonderful

Kay00 · 08/10/2020 09:16

@Tillybabs it might be that you are only just ovulating now and your CM a couple of weeks ago was your first attempt at ovulating (my body tried twice before I actually ovulated in my first cycle, I think its pretty normal :))

Puffin85 · 08/10/2020 09:19

@Tillybabs is it stretchy? Like you can stretch it between your fingers

As if I have become a mucus guru hahah at least I am using life on furlough productively

PumpkinEverything · 08/10/2020 09:21

@Tillybabs I would agree with @Kay00 that it sounds like it could be trying again. I’ve had the same thing before too!

@Juno231 this is exactly why I’m on this group haha. I wouldn’t have even thought about this at all

Tillybabs · 08/10/2020 09:22

@Kay00 yes maybe although I’m getting that coming on my period feeling or at least I think I am. Maybe that’s an ovulation feeling?

@Puffin85 no it isn’t lol, I read up on CM and tested it and it’s not stretchy.

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 09:28

@Kay00 I was getting light period type cramps. Not painful enough to need painkillers and AF wasn't due until Sunday. I was also a really grumpy bitch on Monday night which isn't usual for me 😂. Also the cheapie wasn't sensitive so I decided I wanted to see what a sensitive one said. I have had on off light nausea for a few days. But I just put it down to the fact I have IBS. The stomach cramps were what made me think that I might be pregnant

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 09:35

@PumpkinEverything yeah I just want to make sure the line gets darker before calling the doctor. I suppose I keep seeing people getting chemicals and worry about calling you the doctor. But I suppose I am seeing the worse case scenarios

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 09:35

Huge congrats @Trying4one such lovely lovely news xxx

Kay00 · 08/10/2020 09:36

@Trying4one thats good to know thanks :) Annoying that the symptoms are so bloody similar to AF arriving though!

TheDaydreamBelievers · 08/10/2020 09:41

They really are @Kay00 - even at week 5 fter BFP I was getting AF like cramps

PumpkinEverything · 08/10/2020 09:43

Yes makes sense @Trying4one I would probably be the same! I always think worst case too. Just wasn’t sure if there was maybe something else Smile how many days DPO are you? So exciting!

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 09:46

@Kay00 pms isn't usual for me I meant to say and cramps 5 days before period wasn't normal either. I think you have to look at what isnt normal for you at this time.
I am having to stop taking my medication anyway now I know I am pregnant. I am dreading that they are going to ask me to do a MRI to monitor me once off the medication. Absolutely hate MRI scans

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 09:49

@PumpkinEverything I am 11dpo today. Kind of want to do another test today but running low on sensitive tests 😂 and I think the HCG levels double every other day

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 09:50

Hope everyone is well today ☺️

Little morning update from me...

4DPO now. Sounds really lame but I'm really pleased with my chart so far. This is the first time I've ever been able to clearly see ovulation, and the first time we've been able to DTD accordingly as I've never caught ovulation before, and some of my cycles seemed to be anovulatory.

We've got a surveyor in looking at our house this morning, which is pretty nervy! Here's hoping it all goes Ok 🤞🏼 Xx

@Trying4one that sucks... on the plus side you might get a sneaky look inside your body at the developing baby if you get an MRI (when I had my full back MRI I asked the technician to show me everything haha!)

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 09:53

@Kay00 mine is a brain scan. Never asked to see my scan before so I might have to ask 😂

Kay00 · 08/10/2020 10:06

@Trying4one - OK, perhaps you won't get to see the baby developing in your brain Grin but I would definitely ask to see that scan - fascinating!!

@MintGreenLife Woop!! Excellent chart! Well done missy! That is a really decent temperature rise and a really good DTD pattern.

I am currently on CD17 and no ovulation yet... perhaps my CM is getting more fertile, but I might just have wishful thinking. I really hope I ovulate soon. We are DTD every other day now just in case.

Kay00 · 08/10/2020 10:07

@MintGreenLife its that a survey of the house you are buying?

Flowerkm · 08/10/2020 10:07

@Trying4one amazing news! Massive congratulations. Everything crossed for a lovely pregnancy for you.

@MintGreenLife Ooh lovely chart! Finally a clear one for you, you must feel good about that!

Sorry about being quiet, Im still here and been reading daily! Hey to the newbies 💕

CD15 for me and feeling signs off ovulation but OH has right p*ssed me off!! 'To tired' oh c'mon, you're never tired 😢 trying to not let it get to me as we did say it would be relaxed but I didn't quite expect it to be that relaxed. I guess on a positive note we DTD on the 2 days i had EWCM but that was CD11 and 12 so kinda pushing it if i ovulate today or tomorrow, i just can't imagine sperm living for that long lol
Sorry to be negative, i need to pick myself up i think 😂 thank goodness i have you all to chat too!

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 10:12

@Kay00 thanks :) it's nice to be able to confidently know which day I ovulated, for the first time in 6 months ha. That's all you can do when your cycles a bit all over the place, as if and when you do ovulate, there's no chance of missing it then. Nope it's a survey of our house (that we are selling), funnily enough the survey of the house we are buying is tomorrow, so at least things are happening this week, after about 7 weeks of nothing happening!

Thanks @Flowerkm :) ah that's frustrating. Was that last night? Maybe he will be able to get the energy up tonight? x

OP posts:
Flowerkm · 08/10/2020 10:16

@MintGreenLife yep last night.
I hope so 🤞🏻

Thats exciting about the houses! Hoping it all goes well. Do you have a rough idea of when you'll be moving? Xx

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 10:19

@Flowerkm I'm sure he will give it a good go tonight, especially after skipping it last night. Honestly you'd think they'd enjoy the process ha.

Not sure really, it was meant to be by the end of this month, but it's all dragging on. I'm hoping by the end of November latest. We are relocating too, so it'll all be new, which I'm looking forward to really :) xx

OP posts:
Kay00 · 08/10/2020 10:22

@Flowerkm I totally feel your pain, we pushed to DTD last night when we were both far too tired. But I know we won't get a chance tonight and we have workmen in so this morning/lunch time is a no-no. I just had to pretend I was really horny haha! - I wasnt - haha! Grin

@MintGreenLife when we bought this place every single section of the survey was red - not even a single amber Grin and we still bought it. We had fallen in love! But it is definitely a project!

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 10:27

@Kay00 ahh see this is the opposite scenario (with our current house), as it was a doer-upper, but we've done it up now, so the buyers are expecting it to be in good nick. Although it is Victorian, so obviously being an old house it can't be perfect. The house we are buying is another doer-upper, and like you I'm sure there will be lots of issues, but it wouldn't put us off x

@MintGreenLife I love doing up houses, although this one needed everything - new electrics, re-pointing, heating, damp proof, new bathroom, kitchen etc, etc... we have been here 2.5 years and only half the house is done (three bedrooms and bathroom).

I am hoping to get the living room and upstairs landings/stairs finished before Christmas. Then before any baby arrives we want to get the back garden and second living room fixed up. So only the bottom floor (kitchen/dining/utility/hallway) will need to be done post baby.

My OH wanted to get is all done before we started trying but I have got impatient!
