No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

Tag anyone I've forgotten please, and new party-goers always welcome :)

@Kay00 I do too, but then I found this one so stressful - we extended last year and moved the bathroom upstairs, and it was meant to take 7 weeks but went on for 8 months! It was completely awful urgh. We've been here less than two years, and so half of that was spent living in a complete building site, but DH wants to move back to his home town to be closer to family for when we have our own family, and I'm happy to move on from here anyway.

That's totally fair enough, otherwise you could be putting it off for years. There's always a reason not to isn't there, so it's nice you've decided to go for it :) x

@MintGreenLife I know! Im normally the one to tired so it did get to me a bit as i felt we were on different pages. In reality the poor guy was just tired and i over reacted lol
Aww thats great, sounds like you'll be all settled for Christmas which is good! Love exploring new areas as well ☺️

@Kay00 😂😂 ah thats made me giggle! Its difficult sometimes and i did say to him, it's not always romantic, sometimes it is literally just do it 🙈

Your doer-upper houses sound amazing. Lovely projects to work on xx

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 10:46

@Flowerkm haha bless him. Sometimes you just want to be like 'it's not going to happen unless we keep up DTD' but then I think most OH's would be like 'fine, it'll happen when it happens' which is just so unhelpful ha! I really hope we will be in in good time for Christmas, as we are meant to be hosting this year xx

Oh gosh the house talk, we brought a victorian house 2 years ago and it is never ending!!! It is for the most part done now but still bits that need looking at! We have a huge cellar that I don’t dare investigate

I’m pretty sure AF is here so I’m out this month, pretty disappointed but positives to take from this cycle are I’m fairly sure I ovulated and my LP is around 13 days long which is good...spoke to my OH and decided we need to stop being so laid back and try take it all abit more seriously! On to the next cycle with positivity!

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 10:57

@Sarahp2308 oh wow a cellar, sounds awesome, but I bet it's a nightmare for damp etc!

Sorry to hear that, but those are some brilliant positives :) do you think you'll step things up next cycle then? x

@MintGreenLife Exactly! Aw thats exciting, will be lovely to host in a new house :)

@Sarahp2308 Oh wow, that sounds great!
Sorry to hear you think AF is coming. I totally get the 'stepping it up a gear' method. Lovely LP so some really good positives :) xx

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 11:06

@MintGreenLife it was damp when we moved in but there was a air brick missing from the side of the house which meant any rain was going directly into the cellar and the boiler was leaking into it aswell, fingers crossed it seems ok at the moment! When we had the boiler replaced the guy got down there to change the pipe work and he said it is huge, alot of people on our road have converted them into cinema rooms, gyms and things like that I’m not sure I want to spend that amount of money doing it as I’m not sure it is our forever house! We’ve done alot of work to the house and when we last had it valued we were about 50K in profit but that was pre COVID, I think we will stay there for upto another 5 years then relocate.

Definitely going to stepping it up a notch this month! Mainly more BD he works 12 hour shifts including nights at the moment so sometimes it can be difficult but I am determined now 😂😂

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 11:07

Thanks @Flowerkm I refuse to wallow in my own self pity 😂😂 instead I am going to wallow in a hot bat, with a large glass of vino and a large bar of chocolate or a large cake..maybe both 😂

PumpkinEverything · 08/10/2020 11:55

@Sarahp2308 that all sounds like a great way to wallow, and I’m very jealous Grin
I am not feeling too great today mentally. My work has been so busy this week, being on loads of calls and trying to help people out whilst also trying to learn a new role as mine has changed slightly. It’s just making me feel so mentally drained and tired, and also a bit cranky. I’m trying to not stress as I know that’s not going to help anything, and I’m also trying to remind myself that I feel this way because of work, and not try to think of it as being a symptom! I’m 6 DPO today, and I think most of my ‘symptoms’ are very normal for this time of my cycle. The oil on my skin is increasing again, I’m tired and a bit irritated (but likely as above), and I can see an increase in my CM which would be described as creamy. I had a few random sharp cramps last night, but not many and seems fine today!

Flowerkm · 08/10/2020 12:59

@Sarahp2308 Id go with both!! WineCake

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 13:21

@PumpkinEverything sounds stressful, my job is hell on earth at the moment! It’s just never ending!

@Flowerkm sounds like a plan, OH has already said take out tonight he knows the first day of AF is alway pretty rough for me...this one seems heavier than the last few too

PumpkinEverything · 08/10/2020 13:23

@Sarahp2308 that’s now mine feels too Sad I just need it to be the weekend already! So glad your OH has thought ahead for takeaway Grin hopefully it can make today a bit better

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 13:26

@PumpkinEverything I’ve lost some of my weekends recently through work due to COVID! Hopefully, the diet truely goes out of the window when AF shows up 😂

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 13:28

If anybody is interessted FRER’s and preseed are buy 1 get 1 half price in boots

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 13:50

@Sarahp2308 that's a winner. I have always bought mine on Amazon because I am lazy 🤣🤣 I have bought more and my best friend has told me off. She doesn't want me to make myself more anxious and I have only known about the pregnancy for one day 😅

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 14:08

@Trying4one I was tempted to get some, then I gave my head a wobble and walked away 😂😂

Juno231 · 08/10/2020 14:10

@MintGreenLife @kay00 @Sarahp2308 looks like I'll need pointers from you girls - it's a 3 bed victorian fixer upper I'm moving in to end of the month! Bit daunting tbh but hopefully will work out.

MintGreenLife · 08/10/2020 14:22

@Juno231 happy to answer any questions you might have ☺️ Ours (house we are selling) is a three bed terrace, also Victorian, so probably pretty similar! X

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 14:23

@Juno231 good luck, also happy to answer any questions!

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 14:36

@Juno231 sorry I didn't reply. I knew you had asked me when the baby would be due and forgot to respond 🤦 If my dates are right then I believe it will be due on 20th June. Close toy birthday 🥰 I am already getting paranoid about chemical pregnancy and miscarriage 🙈

Kay00 · 08/10/2020 15:00

@Juno231 super happy to answer any house questions, this is my 2nd Victorian property, first was a later Victorian terraced house (i love them so beautiful!) this one is earlier Victorian, a bit of an odd house and quite unusual, but we fell in love with it.

@Trying4one A June birthday sounds wonderful, I would love a summer baby too (fingers crossed)!

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 15:07

Got to love my spelling mistakes. it was supposed to say close to my birthday 😂 that's what I get when I type too quick and miss the space bar

LisaLx · 08/10/2020 15:12

So I'm on cycle day 16 boobs are killing me. Is this normal? I don't recall ever having painful boobs at this stage of my cycle but thinking it could be because I'm not off the pill?

Sperr · 08/10/2020 16:10

@Trying4one congratulations xx

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 16:14

@LisaLx post pill is a whole new world, anything appears to be possible 😂 everyone is different. I generally get sore nipples around ovulation 🤷
