No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

Tag anyone I've forgotten please, and new party-goers always welcome :)

@TheDaydreamBelievers our messages are crossing over. Yep it's my thyroid level that is too high - apparently anything over 2.5 is not much good for Fertility, and anything above 3 isn't great for pregnancy either 😕 But according to the NHS under 4 is normal, so technically I'm still in the normal range

Sorry to hear you are having issues with thyroid levels @MintGreenLife, hopefully your diet interventions help you. It's so frustrating that NHS have a really wide thyroid window of "okay" as there are so many ppl who have negative symptoms within that window! Same issue w iron and B12 at times

MintGreenLife · 07/10/2020 22:29

@TheDaydreamBelievers thanks, here's hoping 🤞🏼

@TheDaydreamBelievers don't apologise we love having you pop back in! How are you doing? Try and stay positive and not worry, I know it must be so so hard though! Flowers

TheHotelCalifornia · 07/10/2020 23:09

@Kay00 @Puffin85 and @Tillybabs some fab advice here too thank you for sharing ladies, what a helpful thread this is Smile

TheDaydreamBelievers · 08/10/2020 07:00

Thanks @TheHotelCalifornia ! Doing well. Not too symptom filled (but then I worry that's bad!). 12 weeks just feels long to wait. Scan is early nov

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 07:36

Hey everyone 👋. I did a cheapie yesterday morning and got a BFN. That should have stopped me testing for the day but as it isn't sensitive. I decided to a CB and I got my BFP 😍 I really want expecting it. Even did a FRER to double check.

@Trying4one ah amazing!!! Huge congratulations ❤❤❤ what cycle is this?

So how many that have now got pregnant????

TheDaydreamBelievers · 08/10/2020 08:01

Congratulations @Trying4one! Btw, I've become such a massive FRER fangirl, so much clearer than others! For anyone for future - 3DPO wont give a positive for anyone! But totally clear at 10DPO

@AMS19 this is officially thread 3 (@MintGreenLife started one asking for experiences off the pill, it grew into Post Pill TTC party, now this one) and I think about 6 pregnancies or so?

Tillybabs · 08/10/2020 08:03

@Trying4one congratulations!

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 08:12

I have now used my FRER up. Wondering if I should buy more 😂😂 I have 2 cheapies, one CB early detection and two CB digitals. May need more to get my line progression 😂
@AMS19 came off the pill 9 months ago but is only cycle 2 😲 I was expecting it to take a lot longer. Of course the little bean needs to stick.
@TheDaydreamBelievers @Tillybabs thank you. Hopefully you get your BFP soon 🥰

AnonymousXXIX · 08/10/2020 08:20

Congrats @Trying4one : ) 9 months makes me a little hopeful that we might still succeed in 2020!

Puffin85 · 08/10/2020 08:28

@Trying4one congratulations! How are you feeling?

I have a question for everyone - on your 2ww, do you stop drinking alcohol/caffeine? I am not sure what I will do yet. Have already cut down on both, I'm thinking a cup of coffee a day is OK in 2ww but I might skip the wine until AF (or hopefully BFP)?

Trying4one · 08/10/2020 08:36

@Puffin85 excited/nervous. Just got to hope the line continues to get stronger. Once I have seen it stick I need to call my consultant as I am a high risk pregnancy so will be doctor lead care.
I didn't drink during my 2ww wait purely because I did last time and I got bleeding that I thought was implantation and ended in AF. So I became paranoid and not drunk this time. Found a virgin mojito which is going to become my drink of choice 😂
@AnonymousXXIX oh it is definitely possible. It will happen 😊

Kay00 · 08/10/2020 08:38

Woohoo!! Congratulations on your BFP @Trying4one !!

Did you have any symptoms that convinced you to try another test today?

Haha, I would probably buy a load more FRERS too, just to see the line progression.

Soooo pleased for you!!

Moocher90 · 08/10/2020 08:41

@Trying4one congrats on the BFP x i’m sure you must be over the moon :)

AnonymousXXIX · 08/10/2020 08:48

@Puffin85 I drink mostly decaf tea and coffee and still have one or two drinks on the weekend (but together with lots of water). Switch between being paranoid about it, to thinking well how much of a difference does it make lots of other people end up pregnant. If my eggy can't handle a cup of tea maybe it wasn't meant to be?

Tillybabs · 08/10/2020 08:49

I’ve noticed this morning when I wiped myself that I was having some kind of discharge. It’s very wet and not sticky. I’m so confused as thought I had this a couple weeks ago.

Anyone know what this could possibly be?

Bearing in mind I have yet to have a normal period and it is now day 36 since my withdrawal bleed.

PumpkinEverything · 08/10/2020 08:50

Congrats @Trying4one ! So pleased for you Smile

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by checking to make sure it sticks before you go to the doctor? Do you mean you’re going to wait a few more days and watch the lines get darker? It’s not something I’ve ever really thought about; so just wondering!

PumpkinEverything · 08/10/2020 08:51

@AnonymousXXIX your sentence on your eggy not managing a cup of tea has made me lol!

Tillybabs · 08/10/2020 08:55

Sorry forgot to say I thought I had CM a couple weeks ago but maybe this is it? It was very wet.

Puffin85 · 08/10/2020 08:56

Haha Anonymous I laughed too.

@Tillybabs is the cm clear? Haha no boundaries

Tillybabs · 08/10/2020 09:00

@Puffin85 slightly creamy on the tissue but clear on my fingers when I checked. No odour

Sarahp2308 · 08/10/2020 09:02

Congratulations again @Trying4one 🎉

Still spotting over here, got some pretty grim cramps this morning though so I’m guessing AF is about to appear 🙄 CD31 which is is longest for me so far

Juno231 · 08/10/2020 09:03

@PumpkinEverything yeah it's not all that unusual to have a chemical pregnancy at this stage so lots of ladies carry on testing to make sure there's decent line progression before they tell their docs or sometimes even OHs!
