Post Pill TTC - Still Partying

No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

@Cams50 remind me how long off the pill you are? Apparently a short LP in the first cycle or two is quite normal. I'm almost 7 months off now, so I can't use that excuse any more 😂 I started taking a b-vit complex mid last cycle, Agnus Castus and also 50mg B6 after ovulation. I've just ordered 100mg B6, but at the mo I can't work out whether to take it for the whole cycle or just after ovulation.

@Flowerbudd it was needed. Going to have another little vino this evening. I'm in 'F* it' mode 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not sure how people manage with getting AF every cycle and the disappointment without alcohol and treats! Feel like I'm not meant to be drinking much because of TTC, but also feel like I really need it, at least for a day or two 😩 I'm sure your AF isn't coming already! You're LP has been Ok hasn't it? Xx

@MintGreenLife Oh I know, have to have to have those treats!
Yeah, LP is usually fine. I tend to get cramps, but this is quite early on. Just sitting tight :) xx

@AMS19 it’s worth a watch, it kinda put me back into chill out mode and stop being a crazy woman...not sure how long that will last

@MintGreenLife I’m off 6 months so I don’t have that excuse anymore either 🤣 that all sounds good. I’m not sure about when you should take the B6. Surely there’d be no harm taking it all month? But I really don’t know. Hopefully it helps x

@Cams50 ah we are in the same boat then! I have late ovulation and a short LP, no idea what that means in terms of what's going on with me really. I think B6 can potentially delay ovulation. I'm contemplating taking 50mg before ovulation, and increasing to 100mg after. Guess I need to do a little more research! x

@MintGreenLife yeah I’m the same with late ovulation and short lp as well as long drawn out periods. That sounds like a good plan for the b6. Let me know how you get on and I might try that next month x

@AMS19 yes that's right, stop at ovulation! From memory it's because they cause uterine contractions and that can interfere with implantation attempts

Morning ladies, here I am at 5am wondering if my eyes are deceiving me coz I’m still tired.
What do you think of these photos? The two sticks are cheapies (fancy ones coming from Amazon tomorrow - thanks for the suggestions) I’ve done today (12dpo) and yesterday (11dpo).

The one on its own it’s a test out of the same box but just using tap water to see what it did.

Don’t want to get my hopes up as I’ve had a few AF symptoms of cramps... but I’m not seeing things am I, there is something there?

cd27/13dpo and another bfn here today. Where is AF?!

Just took a different kind of test, a Numark one I got from a pharmacy earlier this year to double check I wasn’t before I had an X-ray.
This seems to be clearer!!!

@Tatty1987 congratulations! That's most certainly a BFP 😄. What cycle was this for you?

Woop temp rise today so I guess I had another cycle of ovulating the same day as my peak.

@Juno231 I still can’t take it. I am so happily overwhelmed. This is my first cycle TTC so I know how lucky I am. Been off the pill since around the 1st of June though after more than half my life on microgynon. I’ve got some clear blue tests coming tomorrow but I think that last one was really clear and now I’ve tried two brands. I hope it sticks.

@Juno231 Nice temp rise ;) I have a chart question. I was fairly confident of ovulation yesterday... I had all the symptoms and my cervix went from high and soft in the morning to low and firm by the afternoon. My temperature had started to rise too. Then this morning, it has dropped again... is this a slow rise/fall back rise, or have I not ovulated?? I know you can't really tell me and I need to wait until tomorrow morning, but I suppose i'm stressing a little... Meh!

HUGE congratulations @Tatty1987 wow two pregnancy announcements on here in one week- this is so super exciting! Maybe it is some in the water and now we will all fall pregnant....🙂

@AMS19 fundera crossed you're on to something! Was just thinking if this is my cycle then I'd be able to do a Christmas announcement to the family and how lovely that would be.

@kay00 I'm not sure your temp rise has been high enough to signify a temp shift? Should be higher than your previous six so could be borderline! Am intrigued to see what FF says tomorrow though.

Yes, I was expecting my temperature to rise further today, if it had then I would have had solid crosshairs. If it is a fall back rise (lower today then a temp rise tomorrow) then it gives me the dotted crosshairs... I guess because I didn't have 6 days of lower temperature before my rise. Interesting. I'll update tomorrow!

@Juno231 I’m hoping for this month so we can do a Christmas announcement aswell! Fingers crossed for you!
