No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

Tag anyone I've forgotten please, and new party-goers always welcome :)

@PumpkinEverything I definitely see something there, the FRER should definitely give you an accurate result Friday

PumpkinEverything · 14/10/2020 16:44

Thanks everyone 😭 I’m so on edge trying not to get excited as I wait.
I joined the Premom group on Facebook as a lot of people use these and I’ve looked at other people’s photos and most people that post them seem to take them as positive. I feel like I need proper confirmation though! The clear blue I have is digital and I feel like I don’t want to waste it until it’s been 14 DPO and I know for sure, so I’ll wait and see on Friday, which is going to feel like years away!
I’ll either tell my husband then if it’s actually positive, or I’d really really love to be able to hold off until Monday as it’s our first wedding anniversary and I think this would be the most perfect present. All fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Flowerbudd · 14/10/2020 17:12

@PumpkinEverything Aww! If you can, waiting until Monday, that would be sooo lovely but if you're anything like me, I wouldn't be able to wait 😂

Juno231 · 14/10/2020 17:20

Got my peak! Sent the attached to OH 😂

Yay for positive OPK @Juno231 hahaha oh gosh that's amazing!! Bet he can't wait :D Thanks for the thyroid test tips. I've been looking at a 'female hormones' test, and that also does T4 as well as TSH, so I may do that next, and then if needs be then maybe a full thyroid profile. AF is super crappy today, got such bad cramps so can't even try to forget about it. I did go for lunch with a friend though and have a vino to drown my sorrows. So much for trying to give up alcohol! Still going strong on the gluten and dairy free diet though.

@PumpkinEverything oh my gosh, congrats!!

@MintGreenLife ah yeah I'm only suggesting it as diagnosed my friend with Hashimotos last month lol. All the research I did made me realise that the thyroid (or pituitary) problems you might have vary greatly depending on the combination of the results for all 4 tests and can't really be interpreted on a standalone basis.

Cams50 · 14/10/2020 17:37

@PumpkinEverything congrats!!! That’s amazing news. What a lovely anniversary present 😍

@MintGreenLife sorry about AF 😔 you’re absolutely right to have a few glasses of wine! Cutting out absolutely everything will make everything too hard. You have to treat you’re self now and again. I also have a short LP. 9 days last cycle.

@Kay00 you said you take b complex? Do you take that as well as pregnacare or a prenatal vitamin? I was going to start taking that then my GP said not to bother but I’d like to be more proactive but not sure if that would be too high a vitamin dose or something

AnonymousXXIX · 14/10/2020 17:42

Congrats @PumpkinEverything and also @Juno231 for different reasons!

CD26 still waiting for AF to start here.

Moocher90 · 14/10/2020 17:45

@PumpkinEverything congratulations x

ChinChilly · 14/10/2020 17:45

Brilliant @Juno231 love the pic you sent to OH 😂😂

Moocher90 · 14/10/2020 17:51

@Kay00 started temping on 27th August but came off pill 24th August. I spotted on what would have been CD44-46. Obviously in that time i thought I might have ovulated between CD40-42 but it could have been earlier as was not using OPKs and my lowest temp drop around that time was CD37.

Kay00 · 14/10/2020 17:51

@cams50 yes I take the B Complex along side the 7 seas prenatal. Although the Complex i take has folic acid in it too. But I don't have the brain space to be working out exactly which vitamins I need to take daily so I take both 😅

@pumpkineverything oh yes, what a lovely anniversary present, it would be lovely whether you tell him on Friday or Monday xx

@MintGreenLife glad you were able to meet with a girly friend today and yey for wine! 🙌🍷

I have a question for you ladies. My temp started to rise today and my cervix went from high and soft first thing to low and hard this afternoon... so I'm happy that I have ovulated... probably today. We have done the deed at least once a day for past 4 x days. Do we DTD again today too just in case?

Kay00 · 14/10/2020 17:52

@juno231 😂😂😂🦫

Kay00 · 14/10/2020 17:56

@moocher90 so you had a temp drop at CD37, did it rise much after then? What makes you think you ovulated on CD40-42? Was it a temperature rise? Do you have a chart?

Juno231 · 14/10/2020 18:01

@kay00 I mean if you have the energy then yes go for it! You're well covered otherwise though so don't beat yourself up over it

Cams50 · 14/10/2020 18:03

@Kay00 thanks! I’m going to do the same then x

Moocher90 · 14/10/2020 18:04

@Kay00 the problem is my chart is over the place. I only say CD37 because it’s the lowest temp besides the one this morning. It did rise significantly the next day but but did drop again . On CD40-41 I had EWCM with temp dropping on CD41 and rising next day but again not 3 consecutive high days. It’s even a possibility I didn’t ovulate at all tbh and it’s my hormones....

Thanks @Juno231 that's super helpful and definitely worth looking into further, as would hate to overlook anything like that, especially given my thyroid is on the underachieve side anyway.

@Cams50 sorry to hear your luteal phase is short also, it's obviously quite common post pill! Are you trying anything to improve it?

Thanks @Kay00 it really helped :) can you remind me what you're doing this cycle re b vits etc? I'm going to try vitamin C, along with continuing my b vit complex as well as additional b6 and Agnus Castus, but not sure on whether to be taking the b vit complex throughout my cycle (not as high dose as the ones you were taking) and add in the higher b6 after ovulation (what I did this cycle) or take throughout hmm x

Cams50 · 14/10/2020 18:21

@MintGreenLife not really I was sort of hoping my body was going to sort out the cycles but it doesn’t look that way. So I’m taking pregnacare, epo, seed cycling and now I’m going to start a b complex too. What are you thinking of trying?

Flowerbudd · 14/10/2020 18:22

@Juno231 😂😂 brilliant pic!

@MintGreenLife Your lunch with your friend sounds lovely, it's needed sometimes

@Kay00 Agree with the others, you're covered but if the energy is there then go for it :)

@AnonymousXXIX any idea when you'll test?

6DPO for me. Not much happening, but sorry for TMI...i had lots of creamy CM today in my knickers, much more than usual and earlier than last cycle as well. Slight cramps again, so wondering if AF is coming a lot earlier or just my body doing normal PMS things and still getting used to everything.
Trying not to look too much into anything as this is common for me but its just earlier in my cycle and more of it..hate this TWW 😩 xx

AnonymousXXIX · 14/10/2020 18:42

@Flowerbudd tested this morning and v stark white bfn, so have been pissed off all day :(

AMS19 · 14/10/2020 19:11

OMG how bloody big are Evening Primrose Oil tablets! And i thought my pregnacare were bad 🤮
I cant remember who suggested I take them to help with CM - but I'm right in remembering i only take them until ovulation then stop?
AF now in full flow so officially CD1 of my first proper cycle 🎉

Flowerbudd · 14/10/2020 19:29

@AnonymousXXIX Oh no :( sorry to hear that. Hope you're feeling a bit better now xxx

ChinChilly · 14/10/2020 19:35

I saw on another thread somebody meantioned a youtube video ‘James and Carys our honest TTC journey’ its about an hour long but I gave it it ago, their journey wasn’t really all that long (5 months) but if anything at all it makes you feel abit more sane and everything!

AMS19 · 14/10/2020 19:43

@ChinChilly ah I might give that a go!
