Post Pill TTC - Still Partying

No idea how we managed to smash through 1,000 messages (40% of them are probably me anyway, ha!) in such a short space of time, but a new thread is needed for the post pill TTC party, so here it is...

@LisaLx I felt the same and thought I was pregnant 😂. It passed for me after about a week. I would say the first 2/3 weeks off the pill I felt very weird - crampy, aching boobs etc

I was hoping there was a wee tiny slight chance I could have been. But fingers crossed that the pain passes. I'm another two weeks until I can test. X

@LisaLx I think I ovulated after all of that happened so I’m hopeful I’m in the TWW now! I’m on for a 41 day cycle though if I got it right 😂

@LisaLx Do you know whether you have ovulated yet? You might be ovulating which could be causing your boobs to hurt? Some of the women on here get sore boobs after ovulation, but mine never seem to hurt so I cannot help :)

According to Ovia app my score yesterday was 10 and today 9.5. This is my first month being of the pill. X

I think I ovulated over the last couple of days. Can’t be exactly sure of when as not had a period yet since coming off pill but possibly yesterday due to temp spike.
Had 2 days of EWCM on 5th and 6th then a temp rise and today my boobs are starting to hurt. First was shooting type pains and now starting to feel sensitive and achey. Have twinges/cramps in lower abdomen too. They are all very typical AF symptoms as well though.

At this point I would be just as happy with a period so I can start tracking and working out my fertile window properly instead of just solely relying on my body to tell me.

Hey @Moocher90 out of interest, how soon after coming off the pill did you ovulate? Sorry haven't been following all the threads. Did it take a while? I've just come off cerelle

Was on mini pill and come off on 24th August. No withdrawal bleed and still no period yet. I had a few OPKs which were displaying two lines but the test line was never darker than the control line when I first come off the pill which i think was due to the amount of hormones in the system. This time round I think I’ve totally missed my peak with OPKs because wasn’t doing it multiple times a day when I thought I was ovulating and I may have a quick LH surge. I hoping either way if it means I get a period I will be happy as it will be 7 weeks on Monday I think

Oh crap @Moocher90 That's quite the wait, so frustrating. Interesting what you said about the OPKs when you first came off the pill. I came of cerelle last week. I am getting lines on OPKs which surprised me as I thought nothing would be happening. But maybe it's just left over from the pill. Fingers crossed you did ovulate, it's a shame if you think you might have missed the peak but at least if AF comes you'll be into a fresh cycle like you said

We managed to DTD four times during this period if I ovulated at the time I think I did. Only time will tell I guess. I also noticed after coming off the pill the majority of my temps were quite high and erratic for the first 2/3 weeks. Also had so many pregnancy symptoms which again where just hormones going mad xx

Evening ladies. Just catching up. Anyone else feel when they have a totally rubbish day at work and are super demotivated the pressure to get pregnant so they can have mat leave? Twice today I reread the work mat leave policy because I really feel like that is my easiest way out 😂

No updated from me. OPKs still coming up as invalid on premom because there is zero second line. My dad mentioned tonight when I saw him about how all his friend where having grandchildren. I'm so early into this journey yet already feel frustrated and impatient....

On brighter note I drunk wine and ate sushi...so not being pregnant has its perks 😂😂

@AMS19 I totally feel you on this. I was feeling the exact same way today just have a baby and then there’s time off away from all the work rubbish! Sounds like you had a good night though

@AMS19 haha yes! I’m on a secondment at the moment and I’m thinking if I become pregnant, I can go on mat leave around the same time I go back to my old post. Wishful thinking lol

On CD16 for me, had ovulation pain yesterday and i done a cheeky OPK (whoops) and was blazing positive so pretty sure it happened then. Managed to get OH to DTD last night, wasn't romantic in the slightest and think he finally took the hint sometimes you just need to do it 😂 not holding much hope this month as only managed to DTD on the below days but who knows

@Flowerkm Happy Friday! Sounds like you are in with a good chance to me - you will normally ovulate 12 hours+ after your blazing positive, so you probably got in there just in time . Good luck on your TWW.

I'm CD18, no positive OPK's and no temperature shift. My cervix is a bit all over the place and my CM is ranging from creamy to watery, but I just don't get a lot so its hard to tell. I'm really hoping I ovulate in next few days though!

@Flowerkm you only need to do it the once on the right day to get pregnant. Me and my husband only DTD 3 times over my fertile period and that was enough 😂
@AMS19 I am now thinking about all the stuff I can't have for another 8 months 😂

Hopefully you're gearing up to ovulate, the CM is always a good sign your body is trying to do something :)

Also does anyone notice their resting heart rate go up during ovulation? 3 days in a row it was on average of 62 or so, when I usually sit on 56-58 xx

@AMS19 that is sooo me! I’ve started this horrendous course at work and I’m thinking if I get pregnant now I can drop out 😂!

@Flowerkm my RHR goes up when I’m ovulating then plumets when AF is here. The pic was my last cycle

I'm so confused, maybe someone can shed some light on what is happening.

I came off the mini pill on the 27/09, started my withdrawal bleed the next day and that lasted for 3 days. I've been tracking my OPK'S, and they looked like they were going up and I even had a high reading once ( was due to ovulate on the 15th October)

Then on Tuesday and Wednesday this week ( CD 10 and 11) I had cramps and light pink spotting, and then Thursday afternoon that progressed to a more heavier red when I wiped ( sorry if TMI) and I thought maybe my period was starting because my body is messed up after the pill, I put a tampon in and changed it in the evening and it only had a little bit on it so I didn't put another one in and since then I haven't had anymore bleeding!

Do you think maybe that was my period? ( although v.v. early on CD 11) or very early ovulation bleeding? I am still taking my OPK's which have gone very light/barely there.

Wish I knew what was happening, I came off the pill once before but wasn't ttc so didn't pay any attention to what my body was doing and now I wish I had!! Don't know whether to class myself as CD 13 now or CD 2!

Same as me work is super stressful at the moment and my only way out is to fall pregnant then half of my stresses would go away work wise :/ Also plan to take a year out as have saved over the last few years and my full pay is only 16 weeks then goes to star mat after.

@Flowerkm I can see rise, similar to what happens when I’m due ovulate, I have been trying to find out some further info on it but its all quite sketchy

@lilacflower12 I would say your body is still adjusting to coming off the pill so it’s difficult to say, you’re still quite fresh off the pill so maybe just keep an eye on things and log it all on an app.

@Moocher90 I get the same full pay for 16 weeks then stat maternity leave, Stat maternity works out at about £600 a month doesn’t it? That’s gonna be a shocker! Our house renovations zapped all our savings so we’re just going to have to deal with the pay difference for a while!
