Hi @MamaPheebz I know what you mean when you said you can't remember what a normal cycle feels like. A good sign you have pregnancy symptoms though. Keeping everything crossed for you! Try not to think about the what ifs so not to stress yourself out. Let us know how you get on. x

Because I have a low chance this month I'm kind of looking at it like it's a normal cycle (non ttc) and I have actually haven't had any symptoms really except couple of hot flushes and feeling a bit sick a couple of times. My af was due today and this morning bang on time I started getting pink spotting. So I thought I'm out, but all day it's been very light pink spotting and not much when I wipe. I know I'm probably out but I always hang on with that last smidgen of hope when I spot like that. Normally I get a bit of spotting but soon after full on dark blood. My temp didn't drop drastically today or yesterday which it normally does and hasn't gone below my coverline so I can't help but think I'm still in 🙈. More than likely af will arrive tonight I reckon. x

Good luck @Emc16x @mbymoll for when you test again x

Hi ladies! Well I’m out.. AF arrived on Saturday.. 😒 I guess I’ll be jumping on the November bus! Feeling ok about it I guess.. the more time that passes the more I think I should give up and just be happy with what I have - my two beautiful boys. X

MgW1 · 25/10/2020 19:32

@Farfaraway1
Don't give up! You might only be a month away or 6 months away, how ever long it will be worth the wait! In ' normal times' a weekend away would be a good idea right now 😔 fingers crossed for BFP very soon xx

SarahMumof1DS · 25/10/2020 19:48

@Farfaraway1 I'm sorry AF came. Sometimes I think about if I don't get pregnant after a certain time that I'd stop ttc and just not be careful instead and see what happens. Have you ever thought about that either? I imagine a lot of us have. Or maybe you've already tried it. I always wonder if it would just be a lot less stressful, but then it's so hard not to think about symptoms in the TWW. It would take a lot of restraint not checking ov and af timing. x

Hello all 😊 I commented on here a few days back, but haven't been back since. I imagine we have had a fair few BFPs now! Congratulations everyone. I'm 5dpo today, and symptom spotting everywhere 😂 anyone else 5dpo?

PurplePops · 25/10/2020 21:56

Hey @Tabbycat92 I'm currently 4DPO, its my first month ttc so not really sure what symptoms to be looking out for. I don't think its happened this month, DH had to work away during ovulation so think I missed my window. Have you had any symptoms yet? How long have you been trying? Sending baby dust your way! Xxx

MgW1 · 25/10/2020 22:36

@Tabbycat92
Hi hun, I am 3 dpo. What symptoms have you got? I normally get a few cramps here and there between ovulation and AF so never can tell xx

SunnydazeQ · 26/10/2020 07:49

@Misskg1982 @Nov2 @Farfaraway1 sorry AF arrived. Baby dust for Nov xx

@SarahMumof1DS hope you had a lovely weekend. No not clothes but furniture/furnishings. I have large mirror I got on FB marketplace for next to nothing and want to paint part of it. I also have a old stool I need to change the fabric on. Things like that really :) Didn't do it this weekend and thought I'd leave for my TWW to keep occupied. X

@ACNass fingers crossed for when you test 🤞

Good luck to all the ladies in their TTW!! Sending positive vibes for that BFP this cycle.

SunnydazeQ · 26/10/2020 07:58

I finally got my static smiley after 5 days of high fertility, even though I've had lots of EWCM over the past couple days. My recent loss has definitely affected my cycle so decided to look at the data since we started TTC. We started in May but without OPKs so didn't track then. I'm currently on CD16 but my cycle is definitely longer now. Any ladies out there who suffered a miscarriage, did your cycle return to normal or was it affected like mine? Just curious.

Does anyone just believe charting and sticks and cm is just stressing you out more? This month I'm trying the good old dtd as much as I can caus who noes when I'm ovulating!!

MgW1 · 26/10/2020 08:31

@SunnydazeQ
Hi mine is still effected. I have had 3 periods since. It is getting better I think, I got my first positive OpK this month. Not had much cervical mucus though - just a bit 2 days before positive opk. I had a miscarriage at the beginning of 2nd trimester so always thought it would take longer to get back to normal. Its stress cortisol thats causes these problems. My friend has got pregnant really quick with 1st that ended in miscarriage, it then took.10 months to get preganant again. With her second she got preg 1st month of trying and said she felt it was stress and an out of sync cycle. I think after a miscarriage we read that your more fertile and sometimes that may be the case but if your body isnt ready then it isnt ready! It will happen ...... ❤xx

SarahMumof1DS · 26/10/2020 09:11

@SunnydazeQ weekend was nice thanks, pretty chilled. I hope you had a lovely weekend too. I like doing bits like that sometimes, I painted a mirror that was left in our house when we bought it. It was a tacky gold colour and I painted it satin grey but my DH doesn't like the style of the mirror so not sure if painting it was enough! They left an original 70's cat lamp and kitchen table too and I painted them the same satin grey and they look really nice. My dad just retired from his upholstery business he used to do all that with furniture. A very good distraction for the TWW! I really want to up cycle my clothes, I have an overlock machine but need to work out how to use it! You can find all sorts of good things on marketplace. My DH finds retro trainers online, cleans them up and sells them for more online. x

Still spotting today light red blood. No AF yet and my temp still hasn't dropped right down yet. Bit of a strange cycle this month. 🤔

Get a test done!!! Xx

MamaPheebz · 26/10/2020 10:13

@SunnydazeQ
I had a missed miscarriage in August and a really early loss this month so I have no idea what my cycles are doing either. I’ve had late ovulation and longer cycles but i’ve ovulated on cycle day 10 this cycle so hoping I’m returning to some sort of normal.
Sorry about your loss and hoping you get your rainbow soon xx

MamaPheebz · 26/10/2020 10:14

@SarahMumof1DS
I don’t know how you are holding off testing. Hopefully the bleeding will stop and has just been implantation bleeding!

I have another week of my 2WW to go so I’ll let you know how it goes. X

Kg87 · 26/10/2020 11:12

I finally got a peak OPK yesterday and completely negative today so I’m assuming today is ovulation day and I’m on CD22, late ovulation due to PCOS I think, I’ve got another scan at 1pm as my doctor had hoped I would ovulate on CD19 but I didn’t, does anyone know if the doctor can tell you ovulated during the scan? Or can they only tell with the 21 day blood test?

SarahMumof1DS · 26/10/2020 11:21

@MamaPheebz I'm sorry I didn't realise you had another loss. I'm so sorry for what you've been through. Keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you this month! x

@MamaPheebz @MgW1 I did a test Saturday was BFN so was convinced I'm not. I'm expecting AF to turn up today as my spotting has slightly increased but it's still watery light red/brown colour. I might do another test tonight or tomorrow fmu if AF doesn't come by today. I don't have any cramping either which I was expecting by now. Maybe I just ov later this month. We DTD on CD9 but I don't know when I ovulated 🤷‍♀️ x

MamaPheebz · 26/10/2020 13:12

@SarahMumof1DS how confusing for you. Why can’t our bodies just be the same every month. So annoying!

Yeah I didn’t get a positive test until cycle day 34 and it was only faint so I new it wasn’t going to end well. I started bleeding at work 2 days later. The doctors were great and ran some blood tests to confirm it and put it all on my medical records just in case I have another loss. I can’t get any tests or anything until I’ve had three. I’ve kind of lost all hope for a healthy pregnancy now but it’s like the lottery... got to be in it to win it!

I do have my 2 year old son so just have to keep reminding myself how lucky I am.

Xx

ACNass · 26/10/2020 13:32

Morning ladies! AF officially arrived this morning but l'm feeling hopeful about November. This is actually my first proper AF since coming off the pill since august so I'm feeling relieved that I ovulated in October because I really wasn't sure and was getting worried. Question for you ladies - I'm thinking of temping this cycle. I've never done it. What type of thermometer is best to use? Any good brands you recommend?

SarahMumof1DS · 26/10/2020 14:18

@MamaPheebz I was probably just being impatient. The bleeding has increased more so pretty sure af will be here fully within the next few hours. I think I may have ov on cd16 this month but my chart wasn't easy to work out.

Oh I'm so sorry. That's really good that the doctors treated you so well and it's on record just in case. Hopefully there won't be third time and the next time will be your sticky bean. Don't give up hope, we all have to keep going like you say it's a lottery and we have to be in it, and you might be so close to your sticky bean. 🙏🏻❤️ xx

SarahMumof1DS · 26/10/2020 14:23

Can anyone see where I likely ovulated this month?

AF officially just arrived. It's for the best. Now I can talk to DH about using protection.
