@Adogisforlife91 looks like we will be testing at the same time! I already can't wait for these two weeks to be over

MrsMDD · 06/10/2020 13:51

Thanks @Flittingaboutagain I'm hoping its just too early but I have cramps today. My boobs are sooo sore which I cant remember ever getting with af but who knows anymore lol.

Best of luck ladies

Kg87 · 06/10/2020 13:55

Hi everyone, jumping on the bus again, AF just showed up yesterday. I’m booked for cycle monitoring to start this month as I’ve been off the pill since Nov 2019 and my first scan is Friday to see what the hell is going on in there! Hopefully I will get some answers and find out what we’re doing wrong 🎉

CookieMonster3001 · 06/10/2020 13:59

Hi Ladies,

Can I join! First cycle trying to conceive baby no1. Due to ovulate on Saturday/Sunday.

Good luck everyone!

PurplePops · 06/10/2020 14:09

Hey ladies!

Hope its okay if i join, I'm ttc #1 on my first cycle, only on cd3! I've been on the pill almost 10 years so dont really know what to expect x

Purpleflowers21 · 06/10/2020 14:44

@CookieMonster3001 welcome! I’m same as you but predicted to ovulate thursday! No idea if I actually will though as yes first cycle off the pill for me. X

@PurplePops first cycle for me too! I was on the pill for about 12 years so no idea if I’ll ovulate this month or not but I haven’t started tracking yet as didn’t want to become too obsessed straight away haha. Had a convo with the other half last night about how it might not happen straight away as my body might take longer to adjust push pill and he turns round and says he knows I’m worried about my age (30!) and I shouldn’t worry everything will be fine...I wasn’t worried about my age but it has got me thinking Hmm x

PurplePops · 06/10/2020 16:05

@Purpleflowers21 its nice to know there is someone else is the same position. Im already obsessing I've bought the cheap ovulation tests because I have no idea how long my cycle will be post pill. 30 is young, you will be fine! Im keeping everything crossed we don't have to wait too long Smile x

Jumping over from the other thread. Got a faint positive this morning but with it being cycle day 34 worried it’s not a viable pregnancy or a faulty test. Going to test again in the morning.

SarahMumof1DS · 06/10/2020 21:55

@Theawkwardblonde argh I don't blame you for feeling deflated this month. 13 cycles is a lot to go through. As I've only done 5 cycles I always feel like I don't want to miss a month but I can't say how I'd feel by cycle 13!
Hopefully the supplements will help boost your chances.

I got my blood test results back for my follicular phase hormones and doctor says it came back fine. So just got to have my luteal phase test and see what comes back

Hi @MamaPheebz, omg that's promising! I've read lots of stories of people who took ages to get BFP show up. Fx for you it's your month!!
Let us know if you get a stronger line on your next test!

Can I join! TTC #1, cycle 5 began on Saturday with the arrival of AF. Due to ovulate on 17th according to Flo app but will be tracking more carefully this month with OPK and BBT as I haven't so far.

Is it normal to feel deep down that there is something wrong? I know I'm fairly early on in the journey but I can't shake this underlying feeling of... not quite dread, but paranoia or worry I guess? I even used to occasionally feel like this in my early 20s when I was nowhere near thinking about babies (I'm 31 now). Guess it's because I almost always have some sort of abdomen discomfort (IBS or Recurrent UTI.. I'm lucky if I have a non-bloated day) that it makes me feel like this. Have had scans in the past that have all been normal so I'm prob just being paranoid.

SarahMumof1DS · 06/10/2020 22:24

Welcome all the new joiners!

Sorry for those of you who have had losses, those who's AF arrived and those who have been trying for a long time without any luck yet. I hope this is your month!!
Good luck to those who have just started TTC and fx for a short journey to your BFP!

Baby dust to all!! x

@Luckyelephant1 you're not alone. I've been through the same thought patterns in my life too. Always worried I would have trouble falling pregnant when it finally came to it. I was 34 when I fell pregnant by accident and my son is 2 this week.
I've just finished cycle 5 and worried again I will have trouble now being 36 and early menopause potentially in my family. The doctor just sent me for blood tests and first one just came back fine and got another one to test my progesterone soon, but doctor told me not to worry. It's hard not to worry I know but if you don't have any apparent fertility issues and you're 31 I would imagine you're going to be fine. I've had a very stressful last 6 months aside from TTC and I wonder if that has played a part. It's so hard to relax isn't it, so much easier said than done 🙃

Purpleflowers21 · 07/10/2020 07:10

@Luckyelephant1 I get the exact same feeling without any reason behind it! I think possibly because I’ve been on the pill for so long it could have affected me but I know it’s all in my head. Maybe it’s because we want it so much x

MamaPheebz · 07/10/2020 07:56

@SarahMumof1DS
Everything I keep reading seems to end in a chemical loss but just praying I’m one of the lucky ones.
I’ve got a 2 year old too but like you just can’t seem to trust that my body knows what to do.

It is definitely impossible to relax but I’m just going to have to force myself over the next few weeks and give this little one chance to stick properly.
I got another faint positive today. Just the same as yesterday. I’m going to wait and test at the weekend to see if it is progressing. I’ve given my tests to my husband so I can’t keep doing them and stressing myself out. Xx

Emc16x · 07/10/2020 08:00

Moving over from September bus. Hello to the familiar faces @SarahMumof1DS @Theawkwardblonde. I am not tracking this month! We’re in the process of selling and buying a new house and I’ve hardly thought about TTC which is good! I need a distraction. Well dtd when we want to. Not when my apps say or when the test sticks say. They’re always wrong anyway.

Hi and welcome to everybody! Crossing everything for you all in the tww! And sending baby dust for sticky beans all round!!!

Bit of background for me: I’m 16 months off my depo Provera injection. Irregular periods. Negative bloods from doctors and have a referral to fertility clinic in January. Still not giving up hope!!

Theawkwardblonde · 07/10/2020 08:07

@MamaPheebz exciting! Fx your line gets stronger! I've had a friend whose positive started out like that so you never know. Remain positive!

@Emc16x hi!! That's good you have a distraction and hope the house stuff is going okay.
I was adamant I wouldn't track this month but there I am, peeing in bloody opks daily! Got my peak today and I'm absolutely exhausted as I'm competing at my gym. I was asleep by 8pm last night so lord knows what tonight I'll be like 😂

SunnydazeQ · 07/10/2020 12:32

Hi Ladies
Hope it is OK for me to join as well. TTC baby#1 and we're in our 5th cycle this month. I fell pregnant last month only to miscarry at 5W4D, we were gutted but understood miscarriages happen more frequently than we thought. We were just happy to know that it was possible to get pregnant in the first place. What I did different to have BFP? I started acupuncture and within 2 weeks got a positive. I don't know if that's coincidence or not but continuing with it. My period was like clockwork prior to this but we still used the CB digital ovulation kit which worked really well. However after the MMC, I got High Fertility for 5 days then a Static Smiley on CD18 which would have normally happened on CD14/15. Currently on CD28 when AF would have arrived by now but now expecting it on CD33. I believe I am on 9DPO and won't be testing until Sunday at the earliest. Wishing baby dust to us all on this journey :)

BrilliantButScary · 07/10/2020 19:14

@SunnydazeQ sorry about your MMC Flowers fingers crossed for your testing this Sunday. Is the acupuncture relaxing?

I hope everyone's week is going well. I'm currently waiting for AF to finish and my next fertile period to start (fitbit predicts ovulation on the 17th Oct).

Kg87 · 07/10/2020 19:39

@BrilliantButScary heyy! 😊 I’m waiting for AF to finish too and my Flo app says I’m ovulating on 17th, how long is your cycle usually if you don’t mind me asking?

blueelephant91 · 07/10/2020 19:53

Hey please can I join?
My AF arrived yesterday after being 3 days late, I was convinced I was pregnant. So this will now be cycle 8 of TTC baby #2.

Purpleflowers21 · 07/10/2020 20:06

Hi guys. Hope everyone’s ttc is going well! As I’ve said before I haven’t been testing ovulation and since I’ve just come off the pill I don’t actually know if I will ovulate this month. However my predicted ovulation date is tomorrow (according to flo if my cycles have returned to normal) today I have been getting slight pains in my lower right side so wondering if this could be ovulation pain, has anyone experienced this?

SarahMumof1DS · 07/10/2020 20:21

@MamaPheebz keeping everything crossed for you that it sticks!
It's very hard not to worry and it's easy for me to say, but it's out of your hands and worrying won't change what's to be. Try to stay positive and good idea to wait a few days to test. I hope you get that stronger line. It's strange because when I fell pregnant I had no idea about chemicals and faint lines as I hadn't ever TTC, so when I got my positive I didn't think any more of it and just thought "I'm pregnant" and that was it, apart from the first scan worries. Only thing I worried about was the cramping, I constantly had cramps that felt like I was going to get AF, but never bled and my pregnancy went really well. It just shows how ignorance is bliss and also you have to trust that everything will be ok and that's so hard to do.
