Cycle 10 for us, thought we had cracked it but AF just arrived 🤬😢. Why are period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms so similar??? It's so unfair 😭😭😭 fingers crossed for everyone, lots of baby dust xxx

@SunnydazeQ thanks for your kind words and positivity. I'm pretty sure AF is about to arrive. I've had bloating for almost 3 days now, got a BFN today and I think I'm about 14dpo so would have expected it to show up by now if i was. Due af tomorrow.
I hope you're having a nice weekend and enjoying your up cycling projects. What are you up cycling? Do you do clothes? xx

@Misskg1982 I'm sorry your AF came. It so hard when you think you did everything right and still doesn't happen 😔. Argh yeah and the symptoms being the same across both is just a mind mess. Fx and baby dust for your BFP in November. xxx

@SarahMumof1DS good morning :) I actually just did another test 20 minutes ago and sadly it was a BFN. I'm 11 DPO so I'll do another test in a few days but not feeling very hopeful. I think AF is on its way

You should have done it when you got up this am or of poss leave it 2 or 3 days and do it first thing. I have 3 children and everytime I have had period symptoms prior to a positive pregnancy test so🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hej guys, i was spotting from 8dpo and i thought wow,maybe this is the month. Unfortunately AF showed up13dpo,a day early. I have been ttc for 10months now. Our dd has been maybe thrice efter AF,can it be the reason why it takes long? Please advice sometimes i feel my bf fails me but we have booked a doctor's appointment next month.

@ACNass I'm sorry you got a BFN. Did you do the test with first morning urine? If not like what @MgW1 it might not have been concentrated enough to show up, but we're keeping our fx for you! I hope AF doesn't come. Let us know how you get on. Hopefully it's just because it's early days and why it's not showing up yet. x

Does anyone know if HCG levels can fluctuate in the early days?

No they dont, they just keep doubling, but i reckon its still so low in that 1st week post AF due date that it can be easy to miss unless its 1st wee because you can actually ovulate a day or 2 later than you thought or Implantation can occur later than you thought. Xx

@MgW1 yeah with my DS I felt like I was going to get af every day (low cramping) before BFP and after missed period and at least couple of weeks after that. I was so scared I was going to bleed but I never did. He's 2 now.

Are you both taking vitamins and supplements ? Are you using OPK's ? Could it be down to stress? I have just bought some pre - seed ; check it out if you havent already.
Doctor will prob take some blood samples to.make sure you ovulating properly. But you have 1 child then you will have another , don't stress.... easier said than done I know!!!
I just got some more viatmin supplements.for conception and they are like bullets 🤣🤣 xx

@MgW1 That's good to know. There's so many factors involved and so many variables I think that's why it's not a one size fits all situation for everyone. It would be so much easier if it was!!...🤔

@SarahMumof1DS @MgW1 I'll definitely test again in a couple days when I'm 13-14 DPO and I'll use FMU. I'll be sure to give an update either way. Thanks for the support ladies. My husband and I don't want to tell friends and family that we're trying because we want to avoid added pressure so it's really nice to be able to talk about it here with you all.

@MgW1,thank you for your reply. We are ttc for our first kid. We have not started taking any supplements only vitamin D. I just read about the pre seed. I will give it a try. Thank you

You absolutely do right! I had a mc a few months ago and a few people have ask " Do you think you will try again?"
Iv just said - well .... as this year has been so shit we have decided to think about it at some point next year!! And mind your own bloody business 🤣🤣
Unless you end up with severe morning sickness and family members guess and ask you then deffo wait til after 1st scan , and in winter you can get away with it more in winter clothing!!! Fingers crossed for you and if its now meant to will happen soon.

With my son , we had been trying for several months and nothing so decided to have December off trying. I had 2 work xmas parties and wanted alcohol on xmas day as I had the christmas off ( im a nurse) Only did it once after a few wines in my fertile window and bingo! He came 3 weeks early in Aug. Needless to say I am having December off trying this year too!! X

@ACNass all the best for when you do test. I'm glad we can help keep you going when you don't have anyone to talk to. I joined because I thought my DH was sick of talking about ttc and my family didn't seem understand it all. It was such a life saver to have this forum and community of women who all feel the same.

How’s everyone doing? I’m 6dpo and was staying calm until today. I feel like I’m getting early pregnancy symptoms but don’t want to get my hopes up. I can’t remember what a normal cycle feels like so can’t tell if they are Just af symptoms lol. I just feel like I did with my other pregnancies.

So scared I am as I’m in a really good place mentally but I’m worried that another miscarriage will destroy me.

Hi! Not sure if many are still here but my period is due in 1 more day. I tested yesterday morning and it was BFN. This was 3 days before due on. All of a sudden I have a lot of discharge which isn't usual for me, at least before I had DS anyway (first full cycle since his birth).

Could I still be pregnant? It was just a cheap Asda test, not a FR one...

No BFP yet! I did have a BFN last week but I could have tested too early?! I didn’t have any peak opks but had 2 days of EWCM so I’m crossing everything. My periods are so irregular so I’ve decided if AF doesn’t arrive by 1st Nov I’ll test again! Xxx

Hi @Emc16x i think i’ll test on the 4th or 5th November so I’m on a similar time frame to you.

@mbymoll did you use first morning urine? Only way you could be pregnant is if you ovulated late? I got a late positive last cycle but it was faint and I got my period 2 days later so it was classed as an early loss/ chemical pregnancy. Hopefully not the case for you of course x
