Thanks @redpeppersoup. I'm nervous about if I do get a BFP as I don't think it would be good timing but me and DH are believers of things happen for a reason. My creamy CM has started again and I've had mild nausea and bloating today. I don't want to convince myself I'm pregnant as I've been there lots of times now with tonnes of symptoms and AF arrives on time. It has gone through my head today but need to just dismiss it and wait for AF. It's nice that we all keep each other updated with our own journeys.

Yeah I definitely think there's a connection between stress and infertility in some cases. I've had some moments of craziness but they were enough to make me be more restrained when it comes to POAS and mulling over symptoms. But I've had many times I've been so convinced I'm pregnant and now I feel like I just have to ignore the symptoms and actually it really helps, I don't keep going over and over the what if's anymore. My thing is looking up symptoms but then I think I actually just enjoy it. The only time I get more stressed now is when I get really strong symptoms and it makes me feel pregnant, and obviously when AF arrives it's very disheartening. x

Where is everyone at re : ttc this month? What cycle day are you on and what are your plans this weekend? P.s does the group rename to ttc November after this month ? 🤔 xx

SarahMumof1DS · 23/10/2020 00:42

Hi @MgW1 I'm CD27.
You have to create a new thread for next months bus but anyone can do it. It just happened to be me this month 🤗. It got to 4 days into October before we realised we should start a new thread and then anyone who was still waiting AF just joined the new Bus with us.

Sadly I don't have much plans for the weekend as that's what my life has become now 🤪. I wouldn't know what day of the week it was and sometimes find myself having an early night and realising it's Saturday night! Haha!

I get tonnes of symptoms too! It honestly drives me nuts. And the time when I did get pregs in July, I actually had very few symptoms (but then that ended badly so perhaps lack of symptoms was due to a problem??). It's like some cruel joke my body likes to play! I've concluded that it might be the drop in hormones that happens when there is no fertilised egg that is actually causing my symptoms 🤷‍♀️ Who knows. Such a head f*ck though xx
Sunflowers81 · 23/10/2020 09:55

@redpeppersoup thank you, I've downloaded it too now, and I've ordered the easy@home test strips from amazon. It seems presumptuous but sensible to get the pack with 50 opk and 20 pregnancy tests, but sensible? I thought I was doing ok tracking my cycles too! :-) I might do temp too.

@MgW1 You are doing so well, keep positive. We can have our dreams! Star

@ACNass I can see a faint line!

Hayl6 · 23/10/2020 10:01

Hey everyone, first time posting on this thread. took a couple of cheap tests the last 2 mornings after coming off the pill 6 weeks ago, what does everyone think? Top test is this morning X

@SarahMumof1DS yes they definitely do! So much easier to do it yourself lol

SunnydazeQ · 23/10/2020 12:02

Happy Friday Ladies!!! Flowers

@SarahMumof1DS I am so sorry to hear about your hubby and must be a difficult time, particularly with TTC. Hope he recovers soon and your family can move forward. Sounds like you are still in with a chance so sending so much positivity your way for that BFP, even though you weren't TTC this month. xx

@gracie2307 how are you today hon? Hopefully AF is tapering off now so that you can enjoy your weekend. Any plans?

@MamaPheebz Good luck with the TWW, and I will be joining you in 3 days. It is hard isn't it? I tend to try to pass the time by watching YouTube vids. I've been watching loads on how to help with implantation. I eat lots of nuts and seeds but it seems Brazil nuts and pine nuts are very good so might do that this month. You never know! :)

@MgW1 so sorry to hear about your loss and it sounds so traumatic, especially as your husband was not allowed in with you. Big hugs! Welcome to our group and hope we can help make your TTC journey enjoyable. So lovely having a group of ladies we can talk to during this time. LOL @ jizz pills!! Love that Grin

@redpeppersoup I totally hear you as I am an over sharer as well. When I got pregnant last month, we agreed we wouldn't say anything to anyone until the end of the first trimester but as soon as I got to work, told my 2 colleagues. I think this time around, I won't say anything until we are in the clear but I have a couple of friends abroad and a work colleague who are really rooting for us and they ask all the time so will probably only tell those 3. It's so hard keeping secrets and my life is an open book LOL

@Emc16x sorry to hear about AF! We'll all be on the November bus with our BFPs xx

@Sunflowers81 hello, how are you doing? I am taking folic acid, Vit D, Vit C and today I watched a couple of videos about foods to help with implantation and it seems nuts such as brazil and pine are really helpful during this time. Not a brazil nut fan but willing to give it a go :)

gracie2307 · 23/10/2020 12:26

Hi everyone!

Sorry for being quite yesterday, had a bit of a weird day with work haha.

@SunnydazeQ I am good lovely thanks for asking! AF is tapering off slowly, Im on CD 5. AF usually hangs about for a week but it feels like a lifetime. How are you? Hows your week going? I am going to have a facial, see my mum and chill 😃 how about you? Xx

gracie2307 · 23/10/2020 13:21
@gracie2307 I’m doing fine, thanks for checking in lovely! Still a little bit crampy today but looking forward to trying again this month - I have my OPKs ready 😂 what day of your cycle are you meant to start testing? How you feeling today? X

@SarahMumof1DS so sorry to hear about your DH, that must be really tough to deal with, here if you need to chat Flowers X

Does anyone else find it really hard not to share details about TTC? I’m a bit of an oversharer and quite a few of my friends have been subjected to me moaning about AF showing up so late 🙈 god knows how I’ll manage to keep my mouth shut for 12 weeks if I get a BFP!
Hi @redpeppersoup sorry for my late reply! How are you? Ah good glad you are all set for testing! 😃 I am feeling much better thank you, what are your plans for the weekend?

Thats an interesting point you raised about sharing TTC with friends. I think its good to generally talk to others and share how you feel, however, I have probably created a rod for my own back as I havent told any friends or family we are TTC as I am worried about their expectations and feeling disappointed when theres no news if that makes sense? A few of my close friends are pregnant and I love them to bits and are thrilled for them, but sometimes in low moments, I struggle with it as I want to talk to them on my sad days but I find it really hard as I dont want to be the debbie downer saying I am finding things hard with TTC and they are enjoying their pregnancies. Does that make sense? I just feel like the odd one out in my friendship group. I know I will get there one day soon but yeah I am my own worst enemy lol. I should just come out with it but I am torn between what to do. Xxx

gracie2307 · 23/10/2020 13:27

Hi @Sunflowers81

How are you today? Thanks for your message. I am so sorry AF arrived ☹ how are you feeling? I am the same as you, I feel so glad to have found this forum! It was driving me nuts with loads of thoughts just swirling round my head 🙈 you ladies are wonderful and its nice to not feel alone with it all. What are your plans for the weekend? Xx

ACNass · 23/10/2020 14:26

@Hayl6 I definitely see a faint line on the top test!!

ACNass · 23/10/2020 14:31

@Bmeggar I'd like to join! What is the name of the new group? Thanks for starting it!

Bmeggar · 23/10/2020 15:39

@ACNass hi! I'm hoping this works for sharing the link: TTC November Bus

SparkyLauz · 23/10/2020 16:49

@gracie2307 Hey fellow mon! I'm good thanks, I have been busy with work and social things so not had too much time to think about TTC but AF has gone now so next week it will be back on the saddle 😂 have you been upto much?

No doubt i will be obsessing like crazy again in a few weeks during the TWW haha xx

SarahMumof1DS · 23/10/2020 19:57

@MgW1 haha yeah I think some men definitely do a bad job to get out of doing stuff! Cheeky buggers. My boy just turned 2 so doesn't let me have any time to myself lol. Maybe that's why I don't make many plans other than plans to keep him entertained!
Can you send a screenshot of your temp chart so I can see your temp patterns? I found that my temps really stabilised after taking Pregnacare they used to go up and down in big peaks and lows. Now they are so much more levelled. x

@Bmeggar it's such a head f* when you get so many symptoms and so hard to ignore! I wonder if I've had more symptoms on the more stressful months and less symptoms when I started to calm down more and not over think everything. It's so hard to say. When I found out I was pregnant with my DS I knew at about 6dpo I had cramps that were constant up to and way past my BFP and weeks after that I think. I just knew I was. Seems like each pregnancy is different. Mother Nature is cruel isn't she sometimes.
It's confusing because progesterone increases after ov to prepare the body for a potential pregnancy and that hormone is responsible for a lot of symptoms and they can occur whether pregnancy happens or not. That's why I just ignore it now because I've been pregnant with symptoms and I've not been pregnant with symptoms too and I concluded that mulling over them doesn't do me any good when I AF arrived 5 consecutive cycles after each time thinking I was pregnant. I just couldn't torture myself anymore. It's a real learning curve this ttc x

@SarahMumof1DS
Hi there , I have not written them down anywhere , I have kept a mental note - they have consistently been between 36.2 - 36.5 c , i take it with a digital ear thermometer that I do before getting out of bed, I have only just started doing them this month. I have just gone and got the pregnacare pre conception today as they were on offer. Reviews suggest it helps regulate things. Its just frustrating waiting for my body to get back to normal following miscarriage. I wish I knew when happen because I would put all this ttc to back of my mind and wait til it was time, I could enjoy my weekend wines 🤣 - i dont feel I have time on my side , im 37 and he is 40! We have a 17 year old , could be grandparents before parents again! OMG can you imagine!!! Xx

SarahMumof1DS · 23/10/2020 23:23

@Dogmum13 haha it's so true 😆

SarahMumof1DS · 23/10/2020 23:28

@MrsShaw2 welcome!
Good luck in your journey and wish you a short one to your BFP. If it's very disheartening when AF comes esp when you are convinced you are. Messes with your mind! xx

SarahMumof1DS · 23/10/2020 23:55

@MgW1 I definitely recommend using an app to log your temps. My app is free and has a free TTC setting and it creates a chart for you so you can see a picture of what's happening with your temps. Also I'd advise on a thermometer that has 2 decimal places as that can make all the difference to your chart results.
When I look at my charts before and after taking the supplements it's crazy how stable my temps are. The supplements aren't for everyone but it was definitely beneficial to me.
It's hard you have to wait for your body to adjust back to normal, on top of everything else you went through 😔.
I've had the odd small glass of wine the last few days as I'm convinced af is coming soon!
I totally get how you feel, I'm 37 in February and I feel like I'm running out of time. My doctor said I should relax and not worry about that, that I have time and that's even with a family history of earlier menopause. It still doesn't make you want to hang about!
Yes I imagine that would be very strange having a grandchild before your next child! Their aunt/uncle would be younger than them! I had a friend from school who's aunt was born when she was 11. I couldn't understand it at the time lol.
Let me know how if you want any more help with charting or want to see my charts. xx
