@notyetamumbuttrying a teeny tiny treat won't hurt!

@WicketBasket hahaha omg yes 🤣🤣! Are they even a thing now?! Were they even a thing?!🤔 sorry I did not mean to dampen your hopes, I always get a few days of cramping before af and never been a sign for me unfortunately, doesn't mean it can't be for you! 🤞do you know what dpo you are?

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/12/2020 13:09

@WicketBasket it's all month long usually though 😂 we're getting a takeaway tonight as well as our champagne 😆
Google is the worst for getting your hopes up! When are you due on again? X
@RobinRose no it won't but when you have one everyday it will 😂 and that's where I go wrong. I'm gonna say the old classic cliche of new year, new start though and see if I stick to it 😏

Annny27 · 18/12/2020 13:10

@wicketbasket I was pregnant last year (miscarried at 12 weeks) and I had cramps around 13 and 14dpo through to like 6 weeks so its definitely plausible but they were slightly different cramps as opposed to the cramps I get right before AF

Annny27 · 18/12/2020 13:11

Sorry you think AF is arriving :( @notyetamumbuttrying :(

Because of your shorter cycles, we might be in tww the same time. I am cd5 today

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/12/2020 13:16

@Annny27 thanks hun. Been nothing since I wiped this morning but have the pains and headache so I'm expecting full flow by the time the day is out. Ooh I think we will be! I usually ov day 11 or 12 now.

WicketBasket · 18/12/2020 14:04

@RobinRose Weren’t they all the rage a while back? Not that I would have any idea 😉😂
No it’s not your fault, your experience has been exactly the same as mine, always getting cramps and thinking ‘maybe this time it’s different’ and it never has been so there we go Smile I think I’m 9DPO, got my positive OPK 10 days ago but don’t temp so can’t be too sure. It’s really dragging out this waiting palava 😂 xxx

@notyetamumbuttrying Hahaha you have described my behaviour to a T! Well, new year, new us right? With some more healthy habits 😉 I’m due on next Monday according to how long my cycles tend to be (35 days) but Premom is saying this coming Wednesday as I ovulated roughly on CD17 and I’m CD26 now. Basically, it’s all very confusing but sometime next week I’m guessing? Confused Xxx

Thanks for sharing your experience @Annny27 and I’m sorry to hear about your loss Flowers That’s what I was thinking that these cramps are different but thinking about it, they’re not different, just milder, which could be due to anything really Hmm xxx

Narwhal88 · 18/12/2020 17:27

@notyetamumbuttrying omg this is me too 🤣🤣 treat myself for 2 weeks of the month then have to be good the other 2 weeks and put on a stone since my wedding last year 😂 need to stop but now it's Christmas so oh well! New year, new start for the IVF!

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/12/2020 19:08

@WicketBasket good to know we're all alike 😁and yeah all that new year mantra stuff! Hope AF stays away from you! I'm not actually cd1, had nothing since the wipe this morning so looks like tomorrow for me which would be a normal 14day lp for me so makes more sense.
@Narwhal88 it's so easily done isn't it! Here's to 2021 being our year! 🥂

Is anyone else in the new tier 4 no Christmas plans? 😭😭😭

Tofu35 · 19/12/2020 19:22

Aww @annny27 so sorry to hear this. Are you in the south east/London? Has this changed your Christmas plans?

Scotland has the one day Christmas reprieve and then a 3 week level 4 lockdown for everyone (apart from the islands, I think they're level 3).

Annny27 · 19/12/2020 19:32

Yep we are in the south East @tofu35 and so instead of 3 households it will just be my and my husband now! Will try make it special still but bit sad :(

Its insane isnt it! A rubbish end to a rubbish year! Will you still be able to see some family? 🤞

Motherofkittens28 · 19/12/2020 20:30

@Annny27 our families who were due to come for Christmas are all now in tier 4 so our plans are no longer happening. My fiancé’s mum is on her own so we are going to support bubble with her so she can still come. We are in tier 2 in Hampshire but we are right on the edge of tier 4 area's so imagine we won't be far behind. Its all very depressing!

Narwhal88 · 19/12/2020 21:15

@Annny27 yep I'm Kent so tier 4 for us. We were going to my parents (5 mins down the road) but will now be staying on our own. I need to buy a turkey!

Annny27 · 19/12/2020 21:58

@motherofkittens28 thats nice that your MIL can still come! Would be horrific is single people had to be alone :(

@narwhal88 Yep its a bit of a shock! I just did a shop this evening and got my chicken and all my veg and stuff for Christmas! I have never cooked my own Christmas Dinner rbefore do its a first haha!

crazycatlady1981 · 19/12/2020 23:12

@RobinRose i didn’t find it too much of an issue to start with, just keep saying ‘oh well, maybe next month, plenty of time still, etc, but the last 6 months have started to take its toll on me! At least the potential of having ivf has given us back a bit of hope!!

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry to hear that af is on her way! It’s such a downer! But being able to have a few drinks over Christmas is good! I’m not due af until New Year’s Eve so I’ve got to limit my wine over Christmas week! ☹️

@Annny27 good luck with your first Christmas dinner! I’m sure it’ll go well! 😊

Narwhal88 · 20/12/2020 08:28

@Annny27 haha I'm sure you'll do fine. I normally cook it with my Mum and I cooked a second Christmas dinner for my in laws at our get together last year. It's only the same as a Sunday roast!

kerrym87 · 20/12/2020 10:04

We've been in tier 3 for a while (north east) and we all decided not to go over to each other's for a meal, just exchanging gifts, initially disappointed but now kinda nice not to cater and blitz the house! Also due AF anytime from 21st to 26th (chart reeeeally confusing!) So stuck in 2 mind of hoping but glad not seeing anyone if it's negative but equally if AF arrives lots of naughty food and drink! Had spotting yesterday at 12/13 ish dpo and unusual twinges which I've never had before but too scared to hope it's anything hopeful.
How weird lots of us are on tww about same time ! Sending hugs to everyone x

notyetamumbuttrying · 20/12/2020 11:09

@crazycatlady1981 thanks. Cd2 now and had to send hubby out for painkillers 😩 had drinks with my sister and mate yesterday and champagne Friday night 😂 we were celebrating the last working day of 2020!
@kerrym87 fingers crossed for you!

Tier 4 here too, but so is my family so still gonna go over Christmas Day.

Where is everyone on their cycle this month? Looks like a few of us are due af around Christmas!

Am I the only one in tier 2?!

Anyone that’s in Scotland has been urged not to travel or visit anyone at all
Annny27 · 20/12/2020 14:33

Looks like its a few of us who are not seeing loved ones at Christmas then!

@RobinRose I am cd7 and have had the start of watery cm so might be potentially entering fertile week! I love an early ovulation and am so jealous that @notyetamumbuttrying always has early ovulation haha!

@narwhal88 yeah thats what I was thinking - just a Sunday roast with some pigs in blankets haha!

@kerrym87 if spotting isn't normal for you then that sounds like a good sign!

notyetamumbuttrying · 20/12/2020 16:41

@Annny27 it's getting ever so slightly later these days too! 😁 cd10 was the norm but it's been cd12 past few months so feel better about that! I'll get another dec ov in 😏

Hello everyone,

I think I just am feeling a bit needy and in want of a shameless hand hold. Due AF towards the end of the week and so far only had verrrry mild cramps, not at all like my usual pre AF ones so was feeling very hopeful. However, am now having the dreaded cramps that I always get so feeling a bit sorry for myself Sad

Sorry for the low tone, just needing to rant.
Thank you lovelies Flowers 💕 xxx

Tofu35 · 20/12/2020 18:03

Be kind to yourself @wicketbasket, hope there's some nice Christmas chocolates near by to dip into :) it's always the worst part of the cycle, cautious hope!

My FW starts Christmas day to new year 😂 I'm a bit relieved that there won't be any family visits, so there won't be any timetabling issues!

WicketBasket · 20/12/2020 18:05

Thank you @Tofu35! I needed to hear that. I’m getting a bit down and would rather just know either way if that makes sense? Even if that means AF Confused

Ooh you’ll definitely be ringing in the new year appropriately then Xmas Wink😂😂 Lots of luck to you my lovely 💕xxx
