@candycrush2298 how exciting. Really happy that things are progressing well for you.

Elakiya · 21/09/2020 16:38

@candycrush2298 exam prep is progressing I am frantically going through stuff. Fingers crossed I pass. 😞 really want to see the end of these exams. If I pass this I only have 5 more left. Hoping to do 2 in April and then will think about it after that.

Kaybobx · 21/09/2020 16:39

@candycrush2298 that's fab woohoo. Have you heard anything about the SA yet?

My Amazon package didn't arrive before i left for work 😭 i hope shes thrown it over my back gate else i won't be able to start the soy tonight!! Ahhhh

candycrush2298 · 21/09/2020 16:40

@Elakiya thanks hun, slowly but surely no idea what to say to get them to give me an HSG lol but will need to have a think luckily I don't need to say that to the person doing the scan just need to convince my doctor 🤣🤣🤣 hopefully they find no cysts and everything looks clear so he has to move on to the next thing for my "severe pain" lol!!!

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 21/09/2020 16:42

@Kaybobx awww no what a screw up hopefully, do you have a safe place they can leave it?? They have left my stuff in my bins before lol!!

Yay yeah pretty chuffed lol. Hubby only goes for his SA on the 24th (this Thursday) so will be another week to two weeks or so before we hear the results.

Good luck for your exam @Elakiya

Kaybobx · 21/09/2020 16:51

@candycrush2298 the male post man we had used to throw it over the fence. We've recently had a lady posting and she sends everything back if were not in. I left a note on the door, i hope she did it.

Ah thats fab, the ball is defo rolling for you both. I forgot to call about my hubs, will call in the morning as im off work. Just looked on the website and it looks like they are open again

Elakiya · 21/09/2020 16:57

@candycrush2298 Unfortunately the HSG is not something a GP can request. My private gynae told me that i can get my bloods done by the GP but not the HSG.

@Kaybobx The hermes parcel guy at our old place used to through things over a massive door on the side. It really really wound me up though because how does he know there is nothing fragile in there but then it must be so annoying when they send stuff back. Could she not just have knocked and left it with the neighbour thats what we do.

Also did you get your HSG booked in?

candycrush2298 · 21/09/2020 16:57

@Boc86 thanks hun.

@Kaybobx omg that sounds so annoying. We have to leave our back gate unlatched as they too scared to unlatch it to go to the shed and just put it in there. Which is why sometimes my stuff gets left in the bins lol. But its only with Amazon. The postie Royal Mail leaves it in the shed. Hermes however definitely just sends it back hate them🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, hopefully we can finally have some answers. Still quite scared for that "you're infertile and will never have children" from his side or mine you know.

@Elakiya and this is why adoption is still on the table..... waiting on the fertility clinic being told to come back in 6 months when I have lost weight is just not going to do anything for my mental health.

ReginaaPhalange · 21/09/2020 17:13

Hi all. Back at work today so I'm wiped out OPK looks a bit darker so waiting on the clear blue to develop lol!

Bd last night so DH knows he will be needed this week haha!!!

Clear blue have developed and is a flashing smiley still..

I'm on CD19 today and peaked at CD20 last cycle.

ReginaaPhalange · 21/09/2020 17:16

There's OPK. Premom says low 0.5, but it's defo darker than this mornings :) had some twinges today so hopefully things are moving in terms of ovulation

candycrush2298 · 21/09/2020 17:17

@ReginaaPhalange if your OPK is darker today then it possibly will be peak tomorrow again. 🤞 tomorrow it is that way you would have timed BD perfectly to do it again tomorrow lol!!

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 21/09/2020 17:17

@ReginaaPhalange yeah looks pretty dark to me. Most likely tomorrow will once again be peak for you.

OP posts:
Boc86 · 21/09/2020 17:24

Ooo opk looking good @ReginaaPhalange

Elakiya · 21/09/2020 17:56

@candycrush2298 I think you've gotten quite far without even getting into proper fertility treatment. I mean you're getting the semen analysis done. Ultrasounds are being done. Bloods have been checked.

After the HSG what else do they do. I don't really know what other things the NHS tests for?

candycrush2298 · 21/09/2020 18:03

@Elakiya the bloods and SA are all what thr GP does before referring you to the fertility clinic so honeslty havent gotten any further other than an US. SA and CD21 bloods are standard procedure on NHS its like their base line to refer you to the fertility clinic. So wouldnt say I have really achieved anything to be fair.

No clue guess if hubby isn't fine they do 10 million tricks with him to try get it up naturally and if its not him then after an HSG and US they do 6 months of clomid and then after all that referral to the IVF waiting list provided my weight is fine. Current waiting lists for IVF are 9 months after your 9 month wait they do egg collections and freeze the sperm and then depending how long that takes you get your first round of IVF. I would prefer ICSI as the success rate is higher than IVF

OP posts:
Elakiya · 21/09/2020 18:24

@candycrush2298 What is an ICSI?
