What were your EARLY symptoms..?

So I know this is super duper early for me.. I'm 3DPO today and have been feeling very crampy, nauseous and exhausted! (Cant even describe how tired I am!)

I know full well that a fertile egg wouldn't have even implanted yet, so I'm not for one second implying that I'm experiencing early pregnancy symptoms - I assume it's probably the aftermath of ovulating 🤔😅

It got me thinking.. and I wondered if anybody has ever just 'known' that they were pregnant..? Like the first few days post ovulation? I'm just genuinely curious!

I know many family members and also some friends that claim they knew pretty much within the first 3-7DPO! 😅

As I say, I'm not trying to say I 'know' I'm pregnant or anything like that, this is my first cycle TTC so I know that would be extremely lucky.. just curious! X x

@TheDaydreamBelievers ah I have my fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏼 I’ll be testing 10dpo as I’m going out for a meal that evening and would like a drink, but at 10dpo it could be BFN but I might still be pregnant so I probably won’t drink anyway either way 😅 wow that’s the longest cycle I’ve heard so far, I’m so sorry that must have been really difficult! I came off my pill recently too and my first cycle was 41 days, second cycle 25 and this cycle seems like the same as previous, I ovulated CD12 again. I hate how the pill has messed our hormones up so much!

I've just come off of the Nexplanon implant! Had it removed early August and had AF 4 weeks to the day later.. and then ovulated Thursday 🤷‍♀️ it's crazy how it can affect everyone so differently. I've got my fingers and toes crossed for everybody! Baby dust all round 💓💓☺️

Right @Nam095?! No one ever told me coming off the pill would be this tricky. I'm part of a chat on here called Post Pill TTC Party where we all discuss/complain about the mess that is our cycles.

I'm just hoping either AF or BFP is the outcome and it's not a failed ovulation and another giant cycle! The 141 days is the longest I've come across on mumsnet

You absolutely cannot be feeling pregnancy symptoms at 3dpo. If an egg has been fertilised, it won't have implanted yet and HCG will not yet be being released. As another poster said, anything you are feeling is linked to progesterone rising, which happens after ovulation regardless of conception. I'm sure you aren't looking for symptoms but think you will have become very aware of any feeling in your body and there is nothing you can do about that awareness when TTC. The fluttering, cramping and heaviness is far more likely to be gas than anything gynaecological. Hope you get your BFP this month but will be a looooong TWW if you don't try to put it out of your mind...

@GanderousGoose thank you. As I said I'm very aware that implantation couldn't have happened yet, and as I said it's more than likely nothing but It just got me thinking and I wondered if anybody had experienced anything very early on 🤷‍♀️
It's my first cycle and first time TTC, so everything I am feeling is completely new to me and therefore it's nice to be able to hear other's experiences. I am not taking anything to heart and whatever happens happens!! 🙂😌

@Nam095 we are at the zoo today, I'm absolutely KNACKERED.. never felt this kind of exhaustion before it's crazy! I'm having to sit down every few minutes... !!!

@premum1 ah that sounds like a lovely day out! Yeah I know what you mean, I find I’m shattered during the TWW and coffee doesn’t help much 😂 my boobs are still very sore today but my temp isn’t that high this cycle so I have a feeling I’m out this month x

@Nam095 - my temp has stayed high 37.01 today which is the highest I've ever had it. But slept oddly so who knows. AF still a no show. DPO 13 or 14.

I had increased sense of smell (something I'd have missed if I wasn't symptom spotting) and bloating/constipation 8dpo, admittedly I get this with IBS but this was extreme and came out of nowhere! 9dpo I had god awful indigestion so tested 10dpo with a standard 25mIU/mL test and got my bfp although it was v faint. Good line on frer the next day. I'm only 3 weeks 4 days but other than feeling a bit short of breath here and there (which google says is normal ) I don't really feel anything, boobs haven't been sore yet!

Did anyone else not feel much at this point?

Pain that was like period pain. But 10 times so. So much it made me want to cry. Only for one day but very noticeable. Fingers crossed op xx

@Dontfuckingsaycheese I'm so glad someone else has mentioned this! I know I'm considerably early on in my TWW but the last few days I've been doubled over in agony with what I can only think is ovulation cramping and pain!! I'm usually really good with AF pain but this is in another scale!

From my experience my symptoms have been ... absolutely nothing. I hope it sticks!

Heartburn and burping. Seriously I never get either and had both within a week of conception.

I have experienced the same fluttery feeling as well plus the sore nipples which I haven’t noticed before. I am in my first month of TTC so still very new to all of this and trying to figure it all out. I am on CD19 and ovulated CD16, had sex CD16 and also CD10 so I guess could be possible...

Has anyone got to the bottom of what this fluttery feeling is yet lol!?

I wondered if something was up when my period was almost due, but I felt kind of horny. Never happens when Im on or due. Sorry for lowering the tone!

@sunshinecitrus1 I have no idea what the fluttering is but I had it again today! I’m 7dpo today and I’m really feeling the urge to test with a frer 😩. I have loads of cheap pregnancy strips just chilling in my bathroom so out of curiosity and boredom I took one this morning and a faint line came up but then disappeared after a few minutes. I just did another one now and the same happened! I’ve taken these same tests loads before today and that has never happened on any before, let alone twice in one day! I’m probably just imagining it’s something though even though it’s nothing, 7dpo is way too early, especially on cheapies 🙁 I just need to learn to be patient!

@Nam095 I did a cheapie on 8 dpo and it showed NOTHING. Then my 13DPO FRER was blazing and cheapies have solid lines. Too early for cheapies!

I'm roughly 10 dpo - assuming i ovulated at day 14 like a text book cycle. I know its likely different.
Aunt flo due in 3 or 4 days. Too early to test.
I've either been nauseas or absolutely ravenous for about 3 days now. Sore nips and twinges a bit like period pain but more sharp than that.

@TheDaydreamBelievers I know I need to just pack it in. I don’t have the self control though 😩
