@MrsK21 yay for getting your peak that’s exciting! And yes not sure if there’s such a thing h as relaxing TWW lol
I’ve probably still got about 10days before peak/ovulation. Just wondering when to start cheap OPKS and cbd this time. Maybe I will start with cheap OPKS on cd12 and then cbd around cd16-19
Thanks for asking - we haven’t talked about SIL since that day when I messaged you guys so I’m hoping that’s done and dusted
Currently planning of perhaps going on a road trip to Isle of Skye or wales for my birthday weekend next month which will coincide with me hopefully getting my BFP
Xxx

Hi all.

I've just been through a MMC with my first pregnancy. Should of been 12 weeks was measuring 10.5.

I had medical management which failed so had an ERPC on Thursday.

I was just wandering how long anyone bled for afterwards and how quickly you got a negative test?. I want to start TTC again ASAP but from what ive seen so far it seems pretty varied!

I also haven't had the histology report back yet but they never advised against TTC just said to avoid sex for a week or 2 to avoid infection 🤔.

I never tracked my ovulation last time but hoping to start doing that this time round.

Pugprincess · 15/09/2020 15:59

@MichT4 I remember when ours was a pup and he fell asleep on sofa so we sneaked off to the bedroom to dtd (was in a flat back then), had just got started and his little face peeped around the door frame all sleepy like you guys what are doing lol. Nowadays he’s in the room more often than not when we do it 😂😂😂😂 🤦🏼‍♀️ The things that dog sees 😅😅😩

@fafi gorgeous scan! Lovely to see the proper baby shape. ❤️

@Bl0ndi3 @Firevie thank you for your comments, I spoke to gp and she says there’s no tests nationally even hospitals are struggling? So told me to assume I have covid and isolate so I told work and they are providing me with a home kit test as they have a stockpile apparently. So see what happens with that. I’m still so fatigued, I think being ill when preg is a whole new ball game, you don’t have the immune system or energy levels to fight it so well so it really gets you. X

Pugprincess · 15/09/2020 16:05

@KM89 so sorry to hear about your loss. I didn’t have the operation mine was passed naturally but I didn’t have sex until all blood stopped and then tried and fell straight away no AF. Hopefully somebody who’s had the op can advise more but they usually say wait cause it’s hard to date a new pregnancy with no AF date. X

AutumnDays90 · 15/09/2020 16:19

Hi ladies,
I hope it is okay if I join?

Like you @KM89 I have just had a MMC, found out at 10 weeks that baby stopped developing at 8+ weeks.
I had my surgery under a general on the 4th September. Bled a normal period amount until last Weds.
Pregnancy tests are extremely faint and almost negative now at 11 days post op.

We are devastated but hoping to try again straight away. I have started to do ovulation tests to see if I ovulate soon. I had twinges in my left side last night but I feel that is too soon yet to be ovulating.

We also have the double whammy of infertility and had to had IVF for our two year old. So not really expecting we will get a second natural surprise anytime soon Sad

fafi · 15/09/2020 16:26

@MrsK21 Fingers crossed for you lovely!

@Jadem83 @Pugprincess Thank you!x

@Bl0ndi3 That's great!

Firevie · 15/09/2020 16:41

So sorry to hear about your losses @AutumnDays90 and @KM89
Still breaks my heart when I read this and brings back my own horrible memories:( but you will find the support you need here. These ladies are amazing and many BFPs which gives us hope!
@KM89 so I had an ERPC straight away. Only bled for a week but v light like period bleeds. My doctor didn’t tell me to do pg tests to see when negative. He was v confident he got it all. I ovulated within two weeks and had my first af after the MMC within four weeks of the surgery. I was told to not have sex for two weeks after the surgery. He didn’t exactly to not TTC straight after but did say it may be difficult to date. As we caught ovulation we did have sex on the right days but didn’t catch. So just had my second af finish after MMC and now waiting for couple of days before I start my ovulation kits. Hope this helps a little.
Sending you both positive vibes xxx

HopeForRainbowbaby · 15/09/2020 16:53

@KM89 @AutumnDays90 I'm so sorry about your losses. And I have found strength of how to go through my emotions regarding miscarriage through this chat group. The ladies are so supportive of each other 🥰

I have also passed all three MCs( one at 9 weeks the rest were chemicals) naturally and just waited till bleeding stops before we started to ttc.

HPenthusiast · 15/09/2020 17:45

Hi @KM89 I’m so sorry to hear of your sad news. I had the exact same last month and never imagined it would happen to us. Reading on here has really helped though.

I went straight for surgical management under LA and bled for about 5 days with my negative pg test on day 6. I’ve just come on my first AF yesterday on CD28 which was my normal AF day pre - pregnancy so hoping my body is getting back to normal. We tried this month but I don’t think I got my ovulation dates right so hoping to get it right this month.

Good luck and know we are all here if you need to talk ♥️

MinnieMouse4 · 15/09/2020 18:09

Hello all.

@Bellabubble I’m on CD7 so twinning with you! I’m ready to start SMEP tomorrow! Xx

@familybythesea that is good news that everything is okay with your results. I’m sorry that your GP wasn’t very helpful but as you say hopefully the clinic will give you the answers you need xx

@KM89 @AutumnDays90 sorry for your losses ladies. I passed my MC naturally so can’t really give any advice on the procedures but I bled for around 7 days and had a negative test around that 7 day mark. My first cycle was 34 days which is longer than pre MC. I am currently on my second cycle and hoping that it regulates back to normal soon. Xx

Work is super stressful at the moment and I seem to be exhausted at the end of the day with still having lots to do. I’m changing roles at the end of the month and will be back in the office every day which I hope will be a distraction during the SMEP and TWW. I’m trying not to stress about work as I don’t want it to affect TTC but now I just seem to be stressing about stressing on top of the original stress-ness! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Xx

Sophj19 · 15/09/2020 18:26

Hi ladies, congratulations to all those with BFPs over the last few weeks!

I’ve been taking some time out After my 3rd mc in July. I’m currently on CD1 of my second cycle since. I’ve got an appointment with a private consultant on the 23rd so depending on what they advise I’ll either be ttc again this month or the next After we’ve had some further tests but will be “preparing” this month now with a shit load of vitamins and pom juice 😂 x

KatiePlus3 · 15/09/2020 18:46

@RichmondLady1981 cycle days vary between 28 and 30 days even after mc they were consistent and last 2 cycles AF has arrived on cycle day 29, AF has arrived today so will have to start temping from tomorrow morning xx

KM89 · 15/09/2020 18:55

Thanks everyone ive been feeling pretty alone tbh and happy to of found a thread I can be part of.Good luck everyone. Its also nice to see there is hope of falling pregnant again. Hopefully i will stop bleeding over the next few days days/week and can get back to trying again Smile xx

susiebluebell · 15/09/2020 20:26

Ah my heart goes out to you @KM89 and @AutumnDays90 it takes me back to the experience of my miscarriage exactly a month ago. It was my first pregnancy and we'd just found out and were delighted. I didn't do any more pregnancy tests after the bleeding stopped (only 3 days in my case) because it would have been too sad to see 'not pregnant' again. As it happened, we had to be apart for about two weeks post-mc (for work) so there was time for my body to rest and since then we've started trying again Smile

The grief and the feeling of being alone does get easier; like with other forms of grief it doesn't really stop, it just gets absorbed into your life - and the joy of TTC does come back. You will both be stronger for this experience! ❤️❤️

Runnergirl1 · 15/09/2020 20:40

So sorry to hear you joining us but the ladies on here are fabulous and brilliant people to talk too

Ladies looks like I’m out, Bfn 12dpo. Still have loads a creamy Cm though which is very strange. But just got my pre af spotty skin, absolutely gutted as I was really hoping for a bfp just before my birthday but guess if af shows her face Friday then fertile window should fall on my birthday. I have to take something from feeling pretty low x

Lollol86 · 15/09/2020 20:42

@fafi what a beautiful scan photo ❤️

Sully84 · 15/09/2020 21:13

Welcome @KM89 and @AutumnDays90, sorry for your losses.

I had the surgery and bleeding stopped within a week and had a negative pregnancy test as soon as bleeding stopped. AF was exactly 28 days after the surgery though since then it has varied a few days either side on average. I didn’t test for ovulation when waiting for my first period after surgery as I didn’t know how long it could be until AF arrived.

RichmondLady1981 · 15/09/2020 21:23

@Runnergirl1 sorry to hear BFN. I had load of CM last cycle and it for me a bit excited too. Trying not to symptom spot but it’s tricky. Lots of fun to be had on your birthday FW in a couple of weeks! 💃

@KatiePlus3 sounds like your cycle has settled beautifully. Good luck with your temping tomorrow.

RichmondLady1981 · 15/09/2020 21:30

@AutumnDays90 @KM89

Sorry both for your losses. You’ll find lots of support and gain loads of knowledge from the ladies here. I have!

I also had a mmc in June. Scan at 10.5 weeks, baby stopped growing at 8.5. Surgical management 5 days after the discovery baby has stopped growing. Has a general. Had a generic analysis On tissue and found chromosome issue which is common in over 35s apparently. Was good to get a reason why. Nothing inherited, just genes not copying properly apparently hAppens as we age. Took 2 weeks to stop bleeding properly. Had my next period in 28 days. I didn’t temp or even DTD for the first month as couldn’t face it. Did a lot of crying as and when I felt the need which helped. All happened over strip t lockdown so had to go to appointments (scans) and ops alone like many other ladies here.

I’ve temped and used OPKs last two cycles and still learning. Ovulation confirmed for last two cycles (positive OPKs and temp rise).

Keep us updated as to how you’re doing.

X

KatiePlus3 · 15/09/2020 21:45

@RichmondLady1981 Thankyou :) this is the first time I've ever temped so hopefully I get the hang of it, I've downloaded fertility friend like a few suggested so fingers crossed! Xx

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 22:34

@KM89 welcome although I'm sorry you find yourself here ❤️

I would recommend getting the clear blue digital ovulation test I've used it twice (July and then September) and I got BFP both times although obviously I can't say that's what did it, but it gave me a really simple guide as to when to DTD at the right time! The cycle after my MC I confirmed it with some cheap ovulation tests just to be sure it was accurate xxx

AutumnDays90 · 16/09/2020 09:57

Thank you for your lovely welcome everyone. I am so sorry for your losses.
It is comforting to be amongst other people who have been through the same thing, though of course I wish none of us had to go through a loss at all.

So lovely to hear of the BFPs and read pregnancy updates. Makes me hope that could be us soon!

Louisa199 · 16/09/2020 11:10

@RichmondLady1981 Your peak fertile days should be the ovulation day and two days before, I would BD every day during these daysGrin
The dip on CD8 could be an implantation dip, hopefully, the temp rises up the next day, fingers crossed!

MichT4 · 16/09/2020 11:22

@RichmondLady1981 how was your temp today?

@AutumnDays90 @KM89 so sorry to hear of your losses. Welcome to the group. There's lots of TTC knowledge and support here

@Firevie we aren't too far apart, I'm CD5 today. I've had a short AF - just spotting today - but it's been pretty heavy so I'm feeling fully reset now. I'll probably start OPKs in about 5 days, even though I'm normally waiting forever. Will just DTD every other day as much as we can so I can try not to stress too much about it all.
Definitely with you trying to get back to healthier choices. I've been so bad and am not happy with the lack of clothes that fit me properly 😂 so for now that's a focus and I will hopefully just feel better all round
How are you today?

@Pugprincess haha! Poor pup! Luckily Loki sleeps downstairs so he should be subjected to anything. Did you get signed off?

@fafi I'd call it hit and miss progress 😂 depends entirely what mood he is in

Xx

Firevie · 16/09/2020 12:26

@MichT4 ooh we are cycle buddies lovely. I’m cd6 today. My first Af after mc last month was much heavier than this one but I’m not letting it stress me or trying anyway. Will you be starting with cheap OPKS first? I think I will start doing cheap OPKS once a day from cd11 I think and then cbd from cd15 perhaps. We haven’t started dtd yet but ageee with you that we will just start dtd every other day or so so it’s fun too haha
I’m okay thanks but really fancy a pizza haha
We need to go to Tesco for our weekly shop so currently nothing at home lol
