@Pugprincess oh honey make sure the doctor signs you off, you don't wanna be going to work whilst you're not 100% global pandemic or not you need to rest xxxx

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 07:29

@RichmondLady1981 I'm not an experienced BBTer but I know a few that do it and you can get an implantation temp dip sometimes, so it could be a good thing 🤞🏻🤞🏻

fafi · 15/09/2020 09:03

Thanks everyone! Scan went well and the baby is on track growth wise and now dated 12+6 due on 24th March.

@Bl0ndi3 It doesn't feel real for so long! We had a private scan to check on everything at 8 weeks and it still didn't really feel real until the 12 week scan yesterday! The anxiety does ease though.

@MichT4 thank you, your pupper is so gorgeous! I hope he's bringing you some comfort on this rollercoaster ride x

@Hayleylou89 Heya! Glad you're all well and hopefully the stitch is providing you with some comfort and reassurance though x

fafi · 15/09/2020 09:05

@RichmondLady1981 That could certainly be an implantation dip for sure! Hopefully you'll see it creep up over the cover-line over the next few days! Fingers crossed for you x

Furbsies · 15/09/2020 09:21

Hi all I'm 9dpo and 5 days till AF. But I'm feeling more of the AF like symptoms. I think it's going to be a negative for me. Feeling a little down and tempted to test

MichT4 · 15/09/2020 09:25

@fafi what a gorgeous scan, congratulations!!

And he's certainly distracting me! He's also not particularly DTD friendly because we are exhausted so he better sort it out before FW arrives!

@HopeForRainbowbaby how lovely to have a cycle buddy! Although I ovulate so late it might not last long 😂 I'll enjoy it while it lasts!

@RichmondLady1981 could definitely be implantation but annoyingly with temps, it's only easy to see once you can look back on them. Fingers crossed though

@Pugprincess yeah he's a cutie, and he knows it! I hope you feel better soon and definitely be putting yourself first!

fafi · 15/09/2020 09:32

@MichT4 Thank you! And I can imagine a crying pup outside your bedroom door isn't the best aphrodisiac! Hehe.

MichT4 · 15/09/2020 09:40

Haha @fafi he's not meant to go upstairs but he's become quite the explorer in the last few days. Luckily he's crate trained at night and is finally sleeping through, so I'll be ready to pounce once AF buggers off!

RichmondLady1981 · 15/09/2020 10:00

@fafi your scan is fabulous. Congratulations!

Hopefully my temp will go back up tomorrow! 😬

@Furbsies - you’re definitely not out as I felt like AF was coming when I fell preg first time around with my DS who is now 16 months old! 😀

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 10:06

@fafi OMG what an amazing scan 😍

I've booked a scan for 3rd October - estimate I'll be 6+4 then based on when I think I ovulated. I was roughly 6+4 when I miscarried so it will be nice to see a heartbeat when last time it was all gone. I would've liked to have waited longer to go at 8 weeks or so but I don't think I can haha might end up booking one for 9 weeks between early scan and dating scan

Firevie · 15/09/2020 10:22

@fafi omg that scan of yours is heart melting! So so happy for you!!!
@Pugprincess I hope gp gives you some guidance! You need to take care of yourself and the little bean
@MichT4 pup is so cute! But yes shouldn’t get in between your dtd haha. I’m okay hun just been silent in the background. Just finished af which was very light this time but I’m glad it came on time! I’m cd5 now so have to get back in my healthy state of mind. Will finally be able to go for my run today again but need to start putting my mind into FW mode again as last couple of weeks I’ve just been eating whatever I want, having a drink here and there and just chilled basically. None of that now haha. It’s my birthday next month and apps are predicting af just days before my birthday so I’d love to find out I’m pregnant on my birthday that would be the bestest birthday gift ever.
@VP91x how are you? Did you test again? Xxx

fafi · 15/09/2020 10:25

@MichT4 aw that's good, sounds like you're making good progress with him. Next door have just got a border collie pup and he's so cute and fluffy, I keep peeking over the fence like a maniac to catch a glimpse!

@RichmondLady1981 Thank you!

@Bl0ndi3 Thank you lovely! I was exactly the same, but you might not see a heartbeat at that point but fingers crossed you will! I miscarried at 6 weeks and was going to book a scan for 7 weeks but managed to wait until 8 weeks for the added bonus of dating, it was a hard wait but it was worth it, I bet you do end up booking another early scan! It was really tempting to book another for me, but the place is on the next street from me and I thought it could be an expensive slippery slope to get into a casual testing habit! Hehe. I had two losses over lockdown and now everything is good so far so it goes to show you just can't expect the worst each time xx

fafi · 15/09/2020 10:26

@Firevie Thank you, they look adorable don't they! I love seeing the little nose on scans x

familybythesea · 15/09/2020 10:46

Hi everyone - I've just been catching up on the thread as I keep taking little breaks so my brain doesn't get TTC overload, but I do love hearing how everyone's doing. Congrats to those who got their BFPs recently and to those who are pregnant - it gives me hope!

@VP91x thanks for adding me - I hope you are feeling in a better place now. It's so hard, but especially so with irregular ovulation so I hope you can find something that works for you soon and gets you your BFP.

I can't find the tags of everyone who kindly messaged me about my nightmare receptionist, but I had my call with the doctor today and it turns out I am pre-menopausal. As in no menopausal symptoms, so the receptionist basically put a negative slant on it when she read it out making me assume it meant perimenopausal. It's a relief the numbers are fine, but really annoying because I have been worrying about nothing. The GP was also unhelpful - he didn't know anything about progesterone levels (and won't book me a test). I'm hoping my referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic comes quickly as hopefully they can answer my questions and do some useful tests!

@Bellabubble I think it's great you're taking charge of your situation and stood up to the receptionist! They sound so much more proactive than my GP, so I think you did the right thing.

I'm CD 14 and usually ovulate CD 18/19 so feeling the pressure at the moment as we didn't TTD the last couple of nights due to both feeling exhausted and I didn't want to make it a negative experience - it's awful how missing a day is somehow like not doing one of your chores! I know realistically if we continue every other day now it's still plenty of opportunity but it's hard to not get obsessed!

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 10:56

@fafi ooooh now I'm wondering whether I should hold off on the scan 🧐🧐🧐 maybe a week or so so I'm between 7-8 weeks

MrsK21 · 15/09/2020 11:31

@fafi your scan photo is gorgeous! So glad to hear you're doing well!

@RichmondLady1981 that definitely could be an implantation dip. Hoping your temps go back up!

@Firevie it's nice to have a break mentally from TTC though and not be so regimented. Hoping you feel better for it x
I'm thinking to take that approach next month- we are in FW now and I'm really feeling stressed out by it all. Complete contrast to when we managed to get pregnant and I'm sure the stress isn't helping me x

fafi · 15/09/2020 11:50

@Bl0ndi3 If I was you I would push it back a week if you can! You'll just get more info for your money!

@MrsK21 Thank you so much lovely, I hope you're doing ok? Sorry to hear you're feeling stressed about everything, it's really hard to just tell yourself not to be!

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 12:29

@fafi thanks lovely - you're right and I am asking for the following week now so 10th October and I'll be 7+4 .

My booking in appointment is 13th October so I'll be more informed for that (date wise) and wlll book my dating scan with the midwife then so hopefully will have a date for that straight away 🥰

Firevie · 15/09/2020 13:35

@MrsK21 sorry to hear you’re feeling stressed out hun! Which day are you on? Totally understand what you’re saying - when we got pregnant first time it seemed ‘easy’ in comparison. We weren’t even trying and got pregnant. It will happen for us but yes a more laid back approach may be the way forward xxx

fafi · 15/09/2020 14:00

@Bl0ndi3 Sounds good! I got my appointment letter for my dating scan through about a week or so after my booking appointment, but it's probably different in each area! Aww enjoy your scan when it comes x

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 14:16

@fafi I asked when I rang and they said the midwife will ring through when I'm there so I'll get the date on the day of my booking in I think 🥰

Jadem83 · 15/09/2020 14:22

@fafi what a beautiful scan picture 🥰 so happy for you that all is progressing well ☺️ thank you for sharing and giving us all some renewed hope 🌈💕💙

Bl0ndi3 · 15/09/2020 14:32

@familybythesea I ovulated on cd29 and we only DTD cd28 and cd26 and got BFP

The cycle before when I got my first BFP I ovulated cd19 and we DTD cd17 and 18

So don't worry if you've missed a day 🥰

MrsK21 · 15/09/2020 14:45

@fafi aw thank you for asking after me - I am doing OK generally but when it gets to FW, I think I feel the pressure of wanting to catch. Hoping this is our month though and trying to keep a PMA

@Firevie I'm on CD12 today and last month I ovulated CD13. I got a peak on my cheapie OPK today so I think one or two more days of this stressful time and I can (try) to relax in the TWW - if a relaxing TWW is even a thing?!?!?!
How are you doing apart from getting back on the wagon of healthy living? Did you manage to sort the dilemma of visiting your SIL? Hope your OH was understanding about it xxx

familybythesea · 15/09/2020 15:05

@Bl0ndi3 That's so reassuring - thank you! :)
Hope you get your scan all sorted for when you want it and all is progressing nicely with your little bean.
