11DPO and BFP but super faint line

I've had 2 miscarriages and my last was a faint line at 15dpo. Is this too faint to hope that it might be ok? It has got darker from the FRER I did with FMU 3 hours before.

@bloomety

I meant to say it's darker but not by much. DH says not to worry as HCG levels double every 48 hours not every day
I'm so jealous you have a partner who's that knowlegable! Grin

And congratulations!

bloomety · 13/09/2020 11:55

@LaMadrilena haha only because I told him this!

@bloomety those lines look very promising!! Congratulations

bloomety · 16/09/2020 09:46

So my test line today is marginally lighter than yesterday's. You can tell if you look at the control line. Today's control line is darker. Could it be just my FMU was more diluted?

Your line progression looks fab! Maybe you just didn’t hold today’s in the urine quite as long. I don’t think it could be a chemical when it’s that dark. I think it looks as dark anyway, just a bit more patchy so maybe it’s the test? Try another tomorrow but I wouldn’t be worried from that result x

bloomety · 16/09/2020 10:15

I've just promised my DH no more tests til
Saturday! It's getting me so stressed out. I've been doing them since 10DPO. I had a few sips of water last night so my urine could be more diluted.

Plus I've done the bottom one this morning and the top 2 days ago. That's good progression.

@bloomety they are definitely getting darker. Back away from the tests and wait for a while. Mine were exactly the same. There's no point stressing yourself out as they are clearly progressing. I totally understand why you are though! Good luck and stay positive x

Littlebee1990 · 16/09/2020 10:31

@bloomety HCG takes 48 hours to rise so it’s not unusual to see no change every day, step away! X

I'm the same, desperately willing a couple of days to pass so I can do a new test! I'd do them three times a day if I could! Good luck Smile
ladybirdsarelovely33 · 19/09/2020 08:39

OP are you doing a test today?

bloomety · 19/09/2020 08:45

Yep. The test line is much darker that the control line now!

I did a clearblue weeks one and it's still saying 2-3 weeks though Hmm. I'm 5 weeks LMP or 3 weeks since ovulation so I'd have expected it to be 3+ now.

@bloomety I just posted in the pregnancy forum as I got a 2-3 weeks last Saturday and was expecting 3+ today and was gutted to see 2-3 weeks still and worried it’s not professing, turns out this is very very common, according to LMP I’m 6+3 but I ovulated late so I think I’m 5+2.. regardless I should’ve got a 3+ either way but it seems they’re super unreliable so I’m trying not to panic xx

bloomety · 19/09/2020 08:57

Thanks @Littlebee1990 I've just read your post. I think we're exactly the same. I've felt so relaxed not testing since Wednesday then today I test and I've been on Mumsnet and google all morning and anxious. I might not bother with any more clearblue tests. I'm having a scan next week with EPU. I've to ring Thursday to book it.

Can you get one with your EPU to get your mind at rest?

I'm thinking I may stop testing. I've just read a post by someone saying that CB make so much money from us trying to get that 3+ and preying on our anxiety. That alone annoys me and I don't think I'll buy any more.

Someone also said to me just to enjoy being pregnant now. I hadn't been enjoying it whilst I was testing, since I stopped I was. I've noticed that my sense of smell is so much stronger.

@bloomety I feel much the same, I’m not testing anymore since my loss in June I’ve just not been able to feel excited and I don’t want to remember my pregnancy as a ball of anxiety!

I’ve booked and paid for an early scan for 2 weeks today so I’m going to leave the tests alone and hope for good things, I should be 7+1 then. ❤️❤️

bloomety · 19/09/2020 09:04

Yes exactly. I want to enjoy it and it's much more relaxing not testing. No one on mumnset or google can tell us what will happen and that's what's hard. We're seeking reassurance and nothing can truly give us that.

When I was pregnant with my son I was the same, but I didn't test constantly. I had private scans every week as I was so paranoid. That was before any losses.

Shall we make a pact not to test any more?

Congratulations !

Littlebee1990 · 19/09/2020 09:11

@bloomety Let’s do it 🤞🏼😘

bloomety · 19/09/2020 09:12

Ok @Littlebee1990 I'm taking no more tests, I promise!!

OP posts:
maria2bela · 19/09/2020 09:18

Honestly there's no need to test anymore, your lines are perfectly normal for your gestation. Also, the clear lie may say 2-3 weeks but remember that your conception date can be a few days later than you expect it to be etc, don't stress yourself out about these minor details, you've had strong positives, that's all you need for now! Congratulations, now you need to try to relax and concentrate on being positive :) x

bloomety · 21/09/2020 15:21

@Littlebee1990, I caved. I did more tests. Thankfully though they are darker than saturdays, hoorah! I am just so anxious today.

OP posts:
Littlebee1990 · 21/09/2020 15:23

@bloomety Haha that’s good! I’ve not done any and not been tempted it’s a miracle ... 12 more sleeps until the scan and counting!
Glad you got some reassurance x

bloomety · 21/09/2020 15:26

Good for you @Littlebee1990. I am just so anxious today I felt like a needed something to reassure me. Oh goodness, I sound like an addict.

12 more sleeps that's great! 3 more sleeps til
I can ring the EPU to book my scan. Thursday seems so far away...how did I ever wait for anything before? Time goes so slowly.

OP posts:
Littlebee1990 · 21/09/2020 20:12

@bloomety Honestly time is going sooo slow! I’m in the process of moving house so that’s a distraction but need to some bow vanish on moving day because I can’t be lifting all the heavy stuff! X
