@Clapham4
Haha crazy or calm - love it! I’ve tried to convince myself I’m going to be calm, but I just know I won’t be. Even my OH laughed when I said I was going to wait until my AF was actually due - he knows me too well 😂
Totally agree - everyone is different too so we’ve just gotta do what’s right for us. It’s great to get advice from others in the same situation though! Picking up loads of great tips.

I’m not temp testing yet - I’m not using OPKs either but I think I’ll start using OPKs over the next few months if nothing happens.

@Unicornsparklez
As @AnnaPosie said - really positive that they can’t find anything wrong - I’ve heard that a lot of the time it just comes down to luck! Has your OH tried the Wellman Conception tablets? I’m not at all in the medical field, however I’ve seen some really great reviews about them!

AnnaPosie · 10/09/2020 18:44

@clapham4 not sure I'd have the patience for temp testing to be honest but if we are still trying in another month or two I'll consider it!

Anyone thinking of testing in the next week or so ?

Hi @RBCoxie and @Clapham4 I'm also in the "not strictly testing in September" gang. Period due 1st October. This months fertile window coincides with my 36th birthday, and my pre fertile window doubts are way out of perspective this cycle! Top of this months list of doubts is what I would do if my kid was sent home from school sick. Goodness knows how nuts I'll go if I ever do manage to get pregnant!

AnnaPosie · 11/09/2020 20:08

@bellabella84 so hard not to get carried away thinking about stuff ! I get myself into a right head spin and then remind myself I need to get pregnant first 😂🙈

I've not had any AF symptoms other than 1 spot on my face, I'm lucky enough to have clear skin and only get spots near AF so not sure if that's a sign she's on her way or if it's from wearing my mask on a train journey the other day. Still haven't tested, going to test next Friday as according to flo it's due in 5 days but that can always be out a day or two.

Thinking I'm 1 DPO today, OPK's started getting lighter as of yesterday. Didn't get to DTD last night (O day) as OH was very tired, but DTD 3 days in a row prior to O so hoping that will be enough... 😕 now the TWW!

Hi Ladies!!! So relieved to see some girls that are in the same boat this month.
This is our first cycle TTC. I got my implant removed on August 10th after having it in for two years. I'm using the app Glo and according to that i was scheduled to ovulate on the 5th of this month. Have felt what i thought were ovulation pains, but i'm doubtful. We've been baby dancing every second day, just as normal really and we haven't put pressure on that. I'm really hoping we can get some good news in the next couple of months. We're so excited to start a family and it good be some really good news within our family. Sending love and baby dust to all you ladies

SadieMcdadie1 · 12/09/2020 17:29

I'd also like to add that maybe five days ago for a couple of days i was getting really nauseous and at about 1-2dpo (predicted dates) i broke out in spots all over my chin. Literally about twenty little spots. I've been so so hungry and i've actually been sleeping before midnight every night all of a sudden. I personally think its due to having the implant removed and my hormones being all over the place, but i know these are symptoms. Im due AF in 7 days so lets see :O

SJY87 · 12/09/2020 18:42

Hi All,

Really happy to have found this thread, feel it will be a real support whilst TTC this month.

I'm TTC baby number 1. Me and OH started TTC last year June 2019 and was successful first cycle. I implanted exactly 7 days after ovulation and had implantation pain that same day (but no spotting) and 1st BFP 11dpo. Unfortunately was very unwell from week 6 with hyperemesis gravidarum (in and out of hospital) and by week 9 had miscarried. Took a much needed break and only officially trying again properly this cycle. Slightly terrified of experiencing hyperemesis again, but feel much more prepared now.

So this cycle my period started 30th August, ovulated 10th September (CD 12), so currently on CD 14 (2 days DPO). Just hoping the TWW goes quickly!

Good luck everyone xx

Hey ladies,

I've only just come across this thread but I'd love to join!

DH and I got married at the end of august so this is first month TTC #1.

I had my implant out after 13 years (different ones I hasten to add) at the beginning of August and had a withdrawal bleed. I then bled at the end of August which I presume was AF. Had a peak reading on CB on the 10th so currently in the TWW. I presume I ovulated on the 11th? So would that make today 1DPO?

Good luck to all of us testing in September 💞

Kalecat · 12/09/2020 19:02

@galatea098 unfortunately my AF is due the 26th... which is when OH and I are getting married 🤦🏽‍♀️ so exactly 2 weeks from today. Really hoping I'll end up pregnant because AF showing up on the wedding day + getting a BFN would really suck 😅

Welcome!!! I thought I had a period when I got my implant removed but now that you’ve said a withdrawal bleed I’m worried 😭 how long did that last for you? Glad you’re somewhat back on track! Baby dust to you this month😂

SadieMcdadie1 · 12/09/2020 19:17

@Queenie193 💛**

Queenie193 · 12/09/2020 19:35

@galatea098 I don't BBT, trying not to add anything else to my list! Ha ha

@SadieMcdadie1 I thought it was a period until I came on MN and realised my mistake. My bleeding lasted for 5 days and began the day it was removed. If it wasn't a withdrawal bleed then my cycle would have been around 18 days which doesn't seem quite right.

I've not had anything nearing on a regular cycle for YEARS. For the past 2 years I've bled for about 3 months, off for a day then back on again. Officially hell on earth!x

SadieMcdadie1 · 12/09/2020 21:20

My 'period' Started five days after it was removed. Do you think thats still withdrawl bleeding? I don't know i have to say after reading that i'm quite dis-heartened as i thought i'd gotten my period back as i didn't have one at all on the implant and my cramps were just like they were when i didn't have it in. I'll wait as AF is estimated in a week, but if it doesn't come in the next couple of weeks ill just assume that they'll take a while to come back.

Just rubbish when you're TTC but i suppose most of us go through it :(

Queenie193 · 12/09/2020 22:22

@SadieMcdadie1 I never meant to worry you so I'm really sorry! I didn't even know it was a thing until I read about it on MN and did some research (I'm a nurse so enjoy biology learning).

Basically, withdrawal bleeding can occur within 4 weeks of removal byt normal AF should follow afterwards.

Try not to be too disheartened lovely, AF will likely come when it is due, just your body having a clear out.

TTC is an absolute flipping minefield! ♡

SadieMcdadie1 · 12/09/2020 23:12

Aw hun it’s not you that’s made me feel that way it’s just an accumulation of things. Been having all the symptoms the last few days. The headaches, nausea, tiredness, sore boobs, heightened smell etc but nothing. Think my hormones are doing a number on me and I’ve been so emotional today. I appreciate all the help 💛

Moocher90 · 12/09/2020 23:55

Hello,

Joining the thread.
First month of TTC and never been pregnant before
So I came off my pill the last week of August and had been on it 5 months. Prior to that had been on the depo for years.
I have been doing my BBT since 28th August and had a temp spike of 37 on 4th sept. BD done that day. Since then my temp has remained at around 36.6-36.8. I haven’t had a period since coming off the pill but had lots of pms symptoms the week I came off the pill which started 24th aug which I presume where withdrawal symptoms. The last few days I have have had tender boobs, super sensitive nipples, bloating and cramping in my lower abdomen. Until AF arrives not sure whether it’s that or pregnancy. For all I know these are PMS symptoms

Any thoughts?! Having sex on day that temp spikes is that too late? My mind is boggled from the amount of googling I am doing.

@galatea098

This is the issue I have. I can’t be sure when my AF is due because I haven’t had a period for many years. I’m predicting 14 days after ovulation which makes it 17th September but I’m going to wait until Monday 21st because I could be totally wrong and don’t want to get disheartened when it’s negative
