I got my peak two days late today is cd17 but I got it thank god along with a lot of ewcm today. Didn't manage to dtd last night I fell asleep and my OH didn't wake me up grrrrrr but we dtd from cd13 to cd15 and will dtd twice tonight! Hope that does it!!

@Ange211 of my I really feel for you,can't imagine how that must make you feel.

@LAnna20 this will sound bizarre probably but you kinda get used to it. My eldest is 13 next week 😱 and we started trying again as soon as I stopped bf him but it took 8 years until we had our second and then we just started trying again as soon as he was born. I’ve had a few miscarriages along the way too so I know I can get pregnant (despite a diagnosis otherwise 🤷‍♀️) but you just plod on, count your blessings and vent on groups like this when it gets too much 😘
How long have you been trying?

@Ange211 well done for being as positive as possible. 13 months which I know is nothing compared to you , but this is for my first.

@LAnna20 I think it’s different when you have children already. Not that I’m belittling mine or anyone else’s battles with secondary infertility but it is a comfort when you have a family. Have you seen your GP for tests? I’d get the ball rolling if you haven’t already because In My experience it all takes ages and I wish I had done it sooner.

@Ange211 no I haven't , I had planned to at the 12 month mark but kind of feel with all the pressure the NHS are under at the moment I'm hardly an emergency case. I couldn't even get an appointment for an ear infection a couple of months ago so I think they will probably tell me to leave it a little while longer.

@LAnna20 I guess it depends on your GP but I found mine to be very proactive in fact I spoke to her a couple of weeks ago (about chemical) and she was for referring me again! Girl I work with got referred after 6 months ttc and is now on clomid. Couldn’t hurt to ask x

We are trying to conceive more than a year. My hormones, blood test are fine according to GP.
My husband semen's report is fine. So Our GP recommended to go for fertility clinic.
But I have no idea what to do, how to start, where should go,what will be the first step?
I am from Ireland.
Your help will be really appreciated.

we have taken a long time to heal since last miscarriage and decided on very much relaxed approach. That’s why I haven’t been on here, I felt like I needed to distance myself from obsessing, it wasn’t doing my mental health any good. Just vitamins, no opks, no fertility lubricants and I have a sneaking feeling it’s happening for us to kick off the 2021 with something positive for a change 🧐. I’m only 9DPO. Got a metallic taste in my mouth and sore boobs which I haven’t had since I was pregnant last time. This is a cheapie test this morning, because my POAS addiction returned with vengeance the moment I started feeling like something is happening!
I’m obviously very cautious, we’ve been there twice now. I probably won’t test for sure till end of the week - but we all know that’s not gonna happen x

@Katie1109 long time no see! I also took a step back and tried a more relaxed approach. Tbh I think I’m managing to keep the balance.
I’m sorry to hear about your recent losses.
I 100% see lines on both those test though so 🤞 this one is a sticker xxx

@shona2020 sorry I’m in Scotland so the system is probably different. My first step would be to find a fertility clinic with good reviews and then make an initial appointment to discuss your situation and options with a consultant x

@shona2020 sorry I've no experience but is your doctor not able to recommend someone to go to? If not I'd just do a bit of research on local clinics and go from there.

Hi everyone back on here after a break too. Fingers crossed for you @Katie1109 it's looking like a line there to me too. You deserve everything to go well for you after all you've been through ❤️.
I'm still plodding along trying to get my thyroid levels down and still not there unfortunately. Had another blood test today so will see what happens.
Do have a video call with the fertility clinic at the end of Feb though so will be interested to hear what they have to say but no doubt just the same have to wait for thyroid levels to get down and stabilise.
Hope everyone else is well though and doing ok with this long process of TTC ❤️

@Katie1109 I’m still in my fw but probably haven’t dtd often enough tbh. I had a chemical last month so I’ll most likely be poas obsessively anyway 🙈

@Ange211 thank you x I really hope this is it for us, would be a lovely way to start 2021 after the shit year we've had! In the last months I found positivity to be a key. We have been trying 18 months, with 2 miscarriages, the second one was absolutely awful and I was worried we'll never recover, but we did and we are stronger than ever. We took the relaxed approach, without adding stress of opks etc, just enjoyed regular sex every other day, sometimes every 2 days. Weekends we always tend to dtd more anyway, and my O seems to always fall right about then, so hopefully we caught it well this month :). Just remember to have fun, and put your relationship above all else and it will happen! x

@Katie1109 have everything crossed for you! I am at a similar stage to you about 10dpo. Don't usually have the urge to test but really struggling this month , like you am holding out until the weekend as id expect AF to be here by then x

Hello ladies just thought I’d join in on the group. I am only 3dpo and dtd on my peak day of ovulation hopefully that will be enough. Fingers and toes crossed. No symptoms out of the ordinary but hopefully the tww will fly by.

I'm 6DPO and the TWW is always so long. It doesn't matter how long you have been trying you always hold on to that tiny piece of hope and you just want that nagging feeling away that occupies your mind for 2 weeks x

@LAnna20 cycle buddies then x fingers crossed for both of us 🤞 any symptoms?
@Danni2020 I agree, and I think longer we TTC worse the hope gets x I hope we all have our sticky beans soon!! x

@Katie1109 I had an extremely painful breast
(just the one!!) yesterday but that has eased slightly today. Also back ache and the feeling that period is coming for the last few days but that's probably just normal what about you anymore since yesterday? When is AF due?
