11DPO and BFN so I think I'm looking at cycle 10 now!

@Juno231 sorry to hear it's another BFN, this TTC journey is a tricky old thing isn't it. Hope you're feeling OK.

FF still thinks I have ovulated as in theory my temps are higher than the previous 5 days, but they are really low for post-o temps. Yesterday I was sure it was wrong, but now I'm feeling a bit muddled. This has happened in the past though where it thought I O'd and then later looks like I probably didn't, but we had calmed down on DTD. Not going to trust it this time and so will carry on DTD, wish my charts/cycles were more straightforward!

@MintGreenLife it's very tricky! My June or July cycle started off with 3 really low post O temps but ended up being O anyway - so I guess only time will tell.

Who knew I'd have to add nosebleeds to my list of weird TWW symptoms that were false alarms lol...

@Juno231 yeah you're right ☺️ Will wait to see what tomorrow's is like. I've attached my chart in case of interest. CD16 was when I got my darkest OPK too, and then they went back fainter. Still not a positive though. Will assume for now I haven't O'd and keep DTD.

Urgh that sucks so much. I totally would have read into the nosebleed. Will you test again do you think? Or wait to see if AF arrives? X

@Juno231 so sorry for the BFN. Fresh start and new cycle now though which is super exciting!!

@MintGreenLife what's annoying is that your ewcm just carries on! I'm hoping not to test now but wouldn't be surprised if I do anyway! I reckon AF will show on Thursday so at least there's not overly much LP left for me to deal with :)

@Juno231 hmm, you're still only 11DPO, so not completely out yet. Have you had any possible implementation symptoms?

@MintGreenLife I would say there is a good chance you did ovulate... you had a strong OPK, EWCM and a temp rise... albeit not a big one. And you DTD over that time, so if you did then you're in with a chance 😊

@Juno231 I know, that's what makes me think I can't have O'd, urgh so confusing. Yeah you've not got long to wait now, but then if you get tempted to test again then why not :)

@Kay00 I'm not convinced to be honest. We will carry on DTD to be on the safe side, as I've made that mistake in the past! x

To be honest if I did ovulate on CD16 that would be a real triumph, but I'm not hopeful!

@MintGreenLife I was thinking that too... If you have ovulated then that is well within the target CD range! Yes, keep DTD anyway, no harm can come of that :)

Thank you girls! It means so much that I can share with other people in the same situation 🙂 brief summary... I came off the pill second week of May after finishing a packet, normal withdrawal. I didn't opk for the first 2 cycles (35 and 30 days) but then started to think was I even ovulating. Cycle 3 - lasted 42 days but noticed slight changes in cm, started checking cervix frequently. Cycle 4- i tested on opks from day 12 and didn't see anything except a slight increase around CD 27. However we did dtd every other day from about cd18 and I noticed a lot of cm changes this month. This was the first month we used conceive plus lubricant. I also noticed in the last few days that I had more cm than I should and today my cervix is so high I can't feel it (sorry tmi). I did have a sleepless night though because I had mild period pains so was convinced I'd wake up with AF. Don't want to think too much in case something happens but I've bought some decaf tea!

@Juno231 @Kay00 I definitely haven't ovulated - just had lots of EWCM but mixed with a little creamy, but it stretches as far as I can open my forefinger and thumb, must be around 4-5 inches, so there's no mistaking that! Cervix is really high too, but still hard. Still getting negatives on OPKs and they are so much fainter than they usually are, but hopefully something will start happening with them soon 🤞🏼

@MrsBtobe2020 Thanks for sharing your story! I'm going to try and use Pre-seed this month (it will be my first month when i'm not camping over my fertile period).

@MintGreenLife its interesting how you get so much EWCM, I only had a tiny bit once on my first cycle... but then i'm one of those people who will happily go all day without drinking any water. Do you drink a lot of water?

@MrsBtobe2020 amazing journey!! So so exciting. Please keep us updated. Would you reccomend the lubricant? We usually use a lubricant to have sex do thinking of getting a sperms friendly one

@MintGreenLife I am honestly not sure i have ever had EWCM! Not sure if the pill would effect it? 🤔🤔🤔

@AMS19 I had to start taking evening primrose oil to get ewcm but it worked like a charm!

@Juno231 I use EPO, 500mg daily until Ov. What quantity do you take?

@Juno231 oh wow I hadn't even heard this was a thing! Do you take it just until ovulation? Assuming brand doesn't matter (I'm looking at Holland and Barrett!!)? Thanks so much!!

@AMS19 yeah I take it until ovulation - 2000 mg a day. Mines cold pressed but no idea if that matters - I just get the nature's aid one off amazon 🤷‍♀️

@AMS19 you wouldn't get EWCM on the pill as the pill controls your hormones. I think it's the rise in oestrogen that causes it right before ovulation - oestrogen rises to trigger LH, which then triggers ovulation.

@Kay00 I only drink water (no coffee, tea, soft drinks etc) plus a herbal tea a day, so I guess 95% of my fluid intake is water. I wouldn't say I drink a lot though, maybe 5-6 glasses a day? Probably no more than say 4 pints.

I have no idea why I get so much EWCM, I've tried to read into it to figure out what it could mean, but all I can grasp is that it's my body trying to ovulate for quite a long time. I started getting it right from my first cycle off the pill x

Wonder if anyone could offer their insight on the below as I am wondering if I have missed ovulation day or am still waiting it?

This is my 3rd cycle (I think)

I didn't seem to have a withdrawal bleed (was on progesterone only pill) and had a period about 30 days after coming off the pill. I have now had 2 periods (both fairly light but second heavier, lasting for 4 days each) and am waiting for ovulation after my second one.

As you can see from one of the pics ovulation is very easy to spot and was lucky enough to ovulate on CD20. I noticed that I suffered with very sore nipples around that time and heartburn.

I am now wondering if the very slight peak and temp drop I had a couple of days ago was ovulation (no symptoms this time apart from feeling very low over the last week but think that's just me!) I did test later in the day of the high opk and it was negative again. Today is again CD20 and negative still so wondering if have missed it and that was it or if it is still due?

I know everyone's different but open to thoughts as I'm still very much getting used to all of this.

P.s I use Femometer as I find FF hard to read/use

@MintGreenLife haha! That seems like sooo much water to me. I have been really upping the amount of water I drink per day and I am managing about 1 pint, maybe 1.5 at a push. Clearly I need to be drinking more! I haven't had any yet, just 3 x cups of decaff tea. I'm going for a run in a couple of hours, so I best drink so water now!

Gosh I drink gallons of water! About 3 litres a day. It means I pee about every 30 minutes. I'm gonna have to seriously cut back when I start OPK testing if you have to hold it for 4 hours 😂😂
