@MintGreenLife I Ov on CD 17 last month and that was a huge success for me, hopefully you'll Ov soon.

Im on CD4, light bleed. Im taking B-Complex, EPO and my prenatals. Do nothing interesting here.

I found out this morning that my friend from school is pregnant, im so so pleased for her but I had my first pang of jealousy... I surprised myself!

AnonymousXXIX · 25/09/2020 10:46

Thanks @MintGreenLife : ) you're good at keeping me calm.

Juno231 · 25/09/2020 10:51

haha @kay00 @MintGreenLife it's an actual thing, promise I'm not just making stuff up lol! Normally you get it during later pregnancy though...

@MrsT12 aah fingers crossed it could be today then!

@AnonymousXXIX I'm on cycle 12 off the pill now and only just am starting to recover from things like post pill acne! My periods never went back to pre pill normal either so I'm not sure if that's still going to change...

Juno231 · 25/09/2020 10:57

@kay00 I feel that jealousy so often now lol! I'm at the stage now where people who started TTC AFTER me are about to give birth soon... and my ex is having a baby next month which I'm particularly salty about.

Sometimes ladies on MN reach out to me to see where I'm at - it'll be ladies who I helped decipher BBT charts/OPKs with or whatever - except they're now 13 weeks pregnant and I'm still just here...

MintGreenLife · 25/09/2020 11:03

@AnonymousXXIX awh no probs, maybe see what this next cycle/AF is like and if you're still concerned speak to your GP?

I totally get the jealousy thing @Juno231 @Kay00 it sucks but I find myself reacting negatively to people posting their scans and bumps etc on social media, and I'm only 5 months in to TTC 😔

@kay00 thanks, I really hope so but I'm not holding out much hope. We are DTD every other day anyway, but some days I do wonder If there's even any point 🙄

AnonymousXXIX · 25/09/2020 11:13

@Juno231 @Kay00 @MintGreenLife I don't really get jealous, just worried! Whenever a friend mentions they were off the pill 3 months or 5 months before falling pregnant I just wonder why the same didn't apply to me! And I am v annoyed at tv characters getting pregnant by accident haha.

Flowerkm · 25/09/2020 11:15

Just been reading everyones comments on people announcing pregnancies, i definitely see things and wish it was me. Its more of an impatient thing rather than jealousy at the moment but maybe cause Im only on month 1. Its so hard, when you want something so much seeing things can really make you feel things you never thought you would xx

MintGreenLife · 25/09/2020 11:36

I have to keep reminding myself that with social media on the outside it looks so easy, but obviously many people who are now pregnant may have been trying for a long time or had struggles. I do know a few people that have fallen pregnant by accident recently though, which it's very hard not to think 'how?!' about 😕

MrsT12 · 25/09/2020 11:44

@MintGreenLife I'm sorry you are equally experiencing similar! Thank you I'm hoping so!

@Kay00 yes frantically checking temps each morning hoping for the shift! Making sure we are dtd plenty!

Xxx

Juno231 · 25/09/2020 11:51

@MintGreenLife a lot of my friends are definitely first or second cycle BFPs. One even caught the cycle BEFORE they were gonna TTC, completely by accident. Grrr

Kay00 · 25/09/2020 12:01

I do think perhaps the whole cycle tracking, symptom checking thing we do doesn't help... but i'm not going to stop now! I quite enjoy it haha!

Sarahp2308 · 25/09/2020 12:20

I agree @Kay00 I don’t think we help ourselves there...but I can’t help it 🤣

I have also found myself wondering how people ‘accidentally’ fall pregnant and as for those who get pregnant whilst on the pill HOW?!?!

Trying4one · 25/09/2020 13:17

@Kay00 this is the first month I have monitored my ovulation and it is actually stressing me out 🤦 CD13 and lh levels are still low. Hoping they go up in the next few days otherwise I will be crying at the nurse when I go in for my blood tests on Monday 🤣

Sarahp2308 · 25/09/2020 13:28

@Trying4one this was my first month of monitoring my ovulation and it’s been stressing me out, finally got a peak reading yesterday CD17

Trying4one · 25/09/2020 13:38

@Sarahp2308 yay 🙌 I wonder how long mine will keep me waiting. Not sure I will continue monitoring next month and may just make sure I BD enough

MintGreenLife · 25/09/2020 13:42

Hmm I've just had a 'high' result on an OPK and a little EWCM. I'm not going to get my hopes up as I've had readings that high before and it's turned out to be nothing, plus my cervix is still medium and hard, but it's better than nothing happening! Will have to see what happens tomorrow 🤞🏼

Hey all,

I'm around 12dpo and on cycle 8. Ttc number 1. I've been reading the comments above and agree. It's hard hearing people have fallen pregnant by accident or straight away coming off the pill. Before coming off I had some other medical issues to do with getting pregnant for about a year too, then these 8 months. So it feels like it's been so long even though it hasnt. A friend says you feel like everyone is pregnant when you want to be, but there truly are so many pregnancies with lockdown babies! Have two close to me on number 3 and 4 telling me how hard pregnancy is and 'don't have kids!' when they know how much I want them, and I'm finding that really hard! Probably just me being sensitive.
As for symptoms. I was very lucky that my periods have been regular since I came off so it all seems okay, just no pregnancy yet.
Good luck to you all this month x

Sarahp2308 · 25/09/2020 13:55

@Trying4one hope it’s not too much longer for you, I’m not sure I will continue to monitor I’ve found its taken over my life for the last few days!

@MintGreenLife looks promising, keeping fingers crossed for you! Mine were like that yesterday late morning then shot up to a peak reading in the afternoon

Juno231 · 25/09/2020 14:07

@MintGreenLife wow that looks frustrating - a line like your one from even CD12 would mean imminent peak for me. As in same day kind of imminent!

Flowerkm · 25/09/2020 14:10

@MintGreenLife Ooh they look really promising!

@Lovebug06 Hey Smile Ive had people say to me before, oh don't have kids, you never have time for anything blah blah blah and all that, but they know I want children, yes it will be a shock i can imagine but also fully aware of the change, so its really not helpful lol
Thats good your periods have returned pretty normal, touch wood..mine are also ok so far, think on 3 cycles now off the pill and all seem ok :) fingers crossed this is your month xx

MintGreenLife · 25/09/2020 14:49

@Juno231 it does make me worry a bit. I should probably look into what higher levels of LH means. I know with PCOS you can get multiple peaks, where as I just seem to have a higher lower level every day. I think the Premom OPKs are more sensitive than the Femometer ones though, although I would still get a faint line on the Femometer ones everyday, whereas I know you and @Flowerkm said they would usually be blank until you started to approach ovulation x

MintGreenLife · 25/09/2020 14:51

Thanks @Sarahp2308 I never know if it's worth testing again in the evening as I always find I get fainter lines come the evening 🤷🏻‍♀️ Praying I get a peak tomorrow, but from previous cycles I think that's wishful thinking! X

Sarahp2308 · 25/09/2020 15:02

@MintGreenLife Those are mine todays is CD18 for me and as you can see its pretty much gone this afternoon, I would say its worth testing in the evening as it seems it’s really easy to miss, for me especially if I hadn’t tested 3 times yesterday I would of missed it

MintGreenLife · 25/09/2020 15:07

@Sarahp2308 thanks for sharing yours ☺️ Do you test throughout your cycle until you get your peak? What's your sort of average level? I find mine are generally always between around 0.20-0.40. Trying to work out if that's abnormally high 🤔

Flowerkm · 25/09/2020 15:08

@MintGreenLife Heres a pic of mine from this month, excuse the CB ones but it might help seeing what mine would like on a low day. Then CD15 it peaked but sure I ovulated CD16 as had cramps and a darker line :)
