Oh wow I'm so jealous of all these pups 😍. I'd love love love a dog but we both work full time and I wouldn't want to spend lots of money on daycare so I'm not sure how people make it work 🙊.

They are quite goofy 🤪

We both work full time too... but I suppose we are both working from home which makes things a bit easier. But the reason we got greyhounds is because they only need two short walks a day and they sleep the rest of the time (literally 20 hours+ a day) so you can leave them home alone 😊

@Juno231 I work from home full time and have done for several years now, so that makes everything a lot easier x

@kay00 omg so I knew how lazy they were but totally didn't put two and two together to realise they'd be a good option!

@Kay00 They are super cute! Greyhounds are lovely, my Nan and Grandad rescued one years ago when he was 10 and lived until 18..they did not expect that but lovely lovey dogs ☺️

@Juno231 we both work full time too, OH works shift patterns though...it works though we had ours from when he was 8 weeks old and we both had time off with him over about 4 weeks to settle him in and started leaving him little and often so he understood it was ok to be on his own! OH set up a camera to check he was ok during the day and I can honestly say he sleeps all day 🤣 we give him free roam of the house but spends the entire day on his back with all 4 legs in the air! I have been working from alot more recently and he actually takes him self off into another room to sleep 🤣

Ha when I said full time I obv understand other people work too so that came off wrong. I meant more that we're both out of the house 8-6 :)

@Juno231 he is definitely annoyed I’m here disturbing his beauty sleep 😂 I was worried before we got him because we tend to be out of the house 7:30-4:15 a decent walk in the morning before work tends to wear him out for the day

@Juno231 before COVID me and my husband where out of the house 8 until 6 and I did initially worry about the dog. Once or twice (once I started working around the corner) I would come home at lunch to check on him and he would look at me to say what are you doing home, you are disturbing my sleep 😂😂 I now work from due to COVID (with no plans for me to return to office yet) and he is still lazy all day. I think some dogs can't be left alone for too long and some can just be worn out before.
@Sarahp2308 sounds like my dog 🤣 he would be asleep on the sofa all day if given the chance

So this is a new development - AF has been going on for 7 days now (light spotting Friday, heavy spotting Saturday, proper flow until Wednesday, dark spotting yesterday, light spotting today and no sign of stopping). Does anyone know what underlying issue this could be a 'sign' of?

I am waiting for the hospital to let me know when I can have a scan for cysts/fibroids but it looks like I will be waiting a long time. Would it be related to having those? Wish I could call my GP to ask but they can only be contacted through a form & they're just telling me to wait for the scan.

Came off the pill in February & my cycles are generally 24-28 days (short luteal phase) with 4-ish day medium to heavy AF.

@AnonymousXXIX oh dear, that can't have been very pleasant for you! I wonder if it is just an anomaly, or perhaps your first proper big bleed (have all your other periods been very light)? Was your last cycle different in any way? I don't know much about cysts or fibroids sorry.

@Kay00 My cycles have all been short but otherwise normal (and not light!); they came back straight after I stopped the pill. I had some spotting leading up to AF the first two or three since the pill, but since I started taking b complex vitamins at least the AF part of the cycle has been 'normal'... until now.

@AnonymousXXIX apparently the normal length of AF is up to 7 days. Mine was weird last cycle also as it started off a proper flow for two days (although still fairly light) then turned very light for two days, stopped for the best part of a day and then started again for three days 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm not sure if it would be anything to worry too much about at this stage? I'm also waiting for a referral for a scan, but that's only because I asked for one, not because the doc was concerned x

Hi all, I stopped the mini pill at the end of July. Ovulated CD 16 in aug and had a 30 day cycle. Currently cd24 and no ovulation. This morning had blood in ewcm and brown ewcm on toilet roll sorry for tmi. Has anyone had similar? So frustrating waiting for ovulation xx

@MrsT12 what are you using to track ovulation? blood in ewcm could be ovulation spotting, hence why I'm asking.

@AnonymousXXIX I mean your AF is still within a normal range so you're probably just having an odd cycle whilst your body is adjusting post pill.

7DPO here and so bored of this TWW malarkey! Had lightning crotch yesterday but it's probably my third cycle this year where I've had it so I know now to get my hopes up lol.

I really wish I could have that scan already! I am convinced something isn't right and clearly it is getting worse... but calling my GP about it does nothing.

I have been off pill for a good 8 cycles now, is my body really still adjusting? Especially considering my cycle length has been (roughly) regular.

@Juno231 I'm using bbt so no tempt shift as yet. Hoping it is a potential sign of ovulation! Xx

@MrsT12 I'm in the same boat as you with late ovulation or no ovulation each cycle. That's great that you ovulated so early first cycle, hopefully things will get back on track soon ☺️

@Juno231 lightening crotch made me chuckle. 7DPO is a tricky place to be. Hope you can enjoy the weekend and won't feel like you're countinf down the days. At least come Monday you'll be 10DPO so getting closer then ☺️ X

@AnonymousXXIX I'm 6 months off and still having big cycle issues like not ovulating or ovulating super late. As much as it sucks I think cycle irregularities are common up until 12 months off x

@MrsT12 get DTD! Your temp will shift after Ov so you need to get busy now just in case 😁

@MintGreenLife what CD are you on now? You decided not to use AC this cycle, are you using anything else?

@AnonymousXXIX also I think it's totally normal for even someone that's never been on the pill to have the odd AF/cycle here and there

@Kay00 I'm CD17 I believe, with nothing happening 🙄 I thought I had a teeny bit of EWCM for a couple of days but nothing yesterday and so far today. I'm going to pause AC until after my bloods on Wednesday, but then I'll probably start again if I haven't ovulated by then, which is highly unlikely! Otherwise I just take ubiquinol and a prenatal which I've been taking for several months now. Where are you up to? X
