@stepmumsw5 I agree, please keep updating us and don't worry about mentioning the pregnancy as we would all love to hear, we've all gone through this together.

I'm 9DPO. Sore boobs have got worse and a few more cramps today but all AF signs and I usually get AF on 12DPO so expect it is that!

stepmumSW5 · 09/09/2020 23:39

@CAG14 thank you, that's really sweet of you to say 🌸

Will you be testing out wait until past 12dpo?

27DONFIN · 10/09/2020 07:06

Thanks ladies I think this month maybe il give that a try no harm. I didn’t use the ovulation tests this month just DTD 5 out of 7 days and went with my discharge as a guide.

Good news though OH has agreed to call his old Gp to get the info he needs to register at our local Gp and we can organise his sperm test and go forward from there 🤞🏻

Stabal · 10/09/2020 07:14

@CAG14 I really hope it's not! 🤞 I can't believe how fast these cycles keep rolling around. Where has 2020 gone 😩

27DONFIN · 10/09/2020 08:26

@Stabal sorry I’m getting confused bbt is better to track ovulation then? As ovulation tests pick up ovulation too late? Sorry heads all over the place working out what to do next

crazycatlady1981 · 10/09/2020 08:28

@stepmumSW5 great to hear your news and it’s lovely to hear how your are getting on, so don’t hesitate to tell us!

@Stabal sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish! But a bit of time off and rest is a good idea! I always panic about the Covid thing if I’m feeling rough too and keeping a check on my BBt temperature everyday is a good way to put the mind at rest! 😊

I do oral temping but I also purchased an ovusense (vaginal temping) which I’m on my 2nd month with. It’s a bit more costly and the plan was to stop oral temping and just use ovusense, but I’m so obsessed, I’m now doing both!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Lol!!

I’ve started to get tiny amounts of brown blood in my cm so I’m 99% sure I’m out this month now! Also my temps have started to drop gradually! 😕 AF due next tues/wed so starting to plan ahead for another month of ttc now!

Got some of my tests back and they are all normal so far and progesterone is 36.7nmol so that’s good as it’s confirmed that I’m ovulating! Hooray! 😀

crazycatlady1981 · 10/09/2020 08:32

@27DONFIN I think OPK sticks only confirm that you are getting LH surge, but if you do BBT as well and your temps rise during the second half of your cycle, that confirms that you are ovulating. I think you can get a LH surge but not actually be ovulating. Also you may be able to pinpoint ovulation better with bbt.

CAG14 · 10/09/2020 08:58

@stepmumSW5 I think I'll wait until 12DPO or 13DPO. I have some IC's and 1 FRER. Will probably save the FRER till Sunday

@Stabal oh I know, tell me about it!

stepmumSW5 · 10/09/2020 09:00

@CAG14 fingers crossed for you 🤞

butterfly5291 · 10/09/2020 10:06

@27DONFIN start tracking bbt orally or vaginally...which you're more comfortable with asap and use OPKs as well. Like others have said OPKs help to tell you when to DTD and BBT tells you after you've ovulated. It's really interesting once you start seeing the pattern.

@CAG14 really hope this is your month!

@crazycatlady1981 that's great that your tests show you are ovulating!

27DONFIN · 10/09/2020 10:58

@butterfly5291any bbt devices you recommend? Any to avoid? x

Stabal · 10/09/2020 10:59

@27DONFIN no OPKs will indicate ovulation is about to happen and BBT will confirm it but you can't rely on BBT to know when to DTD as it will only confirm ovulation 3 days later so it's better to use both together

@crazycatlady1981 that's great you're ovulating, that's half the battle!

Stabal · 10/09/2020 11:01

@27DONFIN any basal body thermometer will do, doesn't have to be fancy. As long as it reads to 2 decimal places. I use the femometer one.

Iloveoreos · 10/09/2020 11:25

Morning ladies
10dpo today but not feeling any symptoms :(
advanced warning if TMI
CM is barely there but when i did see it was creamy/sticky ish

Anyone same boat as me?

Iloveoreos · 10/09/2020 11:30

Also seen a few posts about pre seed. Has anyone used Conceive Plus lubricant instead?

stepmumSW5 · 10/09/2020 11:45

@Iloveoreos I used conceive plus. Both are really good

Mia1985x · 10/09/2020 22:26

Hey everyone,

Hope your all doing well. Another crazy couple of days at work so just caught up again. @stepmumSW5 thats amazing on your blood test, you must be so excited!! And not long to wait until you get the heartbeat one too 🥰 so happy for you and as the others said please do keep us updated and don't ever feel you shouldn't mention it. It is actually so lovely to hear how you are progressing and we all probably feel like we were there with you for your BFP. It also gives me so much hope that more of us on here will get our BFP soon too 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I've used conceive plus for ages now but thinking I might give preseed a try.

I had my fertility appointment yesterday and all went well. OH is getting another semen analysis done as 1 of the readings was slightly under (morphology was 3%) the specialist said he wasn't too concerned as the count was extremely high and motility was also above average but said we would get another done just to double check.

I have to get a HSG scan which I am pretty nervous about but also glad things are progressing. Does anyone have any experience with this?

If it comes back normal then straight referral for IVF he said. But i imagine the waiting list will be longggggg for it.

Stabal · 10/09/2020 23:09

@Mia1985x no experience with the HSG as that's what I was waiting on when I fell pregnant but I've heard it's quite painful! On the upside a lot of women report falling pregnant after one as the dye flushes the tubes out so you never know! 🤞 I was told the IVF list would be 3 years. They'll probably go down the IUI route before then too 🙄

Mia1985x · 11/09/2020 00:05

@Stabal thats right I remember you saying you were waiting to get it when you fell pregnant. Do you have any plans to ask to be referred for one again now? I was reading up tonight on the success stories and it does seem to say it increases your chances for 3 months after having it. I guess that's positive. They said my appointment will hopefully be next cycle as it has to be done after AF but before ovulation and right now I'm CD8. If they manage to get an appointment in for next cycle that will be good and not give me too much time to worry about how painful its meant to be.
The specialist said at the moment he will refer straight to IVF and not suggest IUI based on the semen analysis results. That may change I guess after 2nd analysis is done.

Stabal · 11/09/2020 00:12

@Mia1985x because I managed to get pregnant I'm back to square one and have to wait the standard year of TTC to be referred again. Which means having all the blood tests, swabs and semen analysis redone next March (those results only hold up for 3 months) if I don't manage to fall again. So frustrating. Please let me know how you find the HSG and if it's as bad as people would have you believe haha. Excited for your journey to go forward 💕

Mia1985x · 11/09/2020 00:27

Aw really, I did know it could slow things down as they obviously see it as a positive sign that you fell pregnant but I didn't realise it put you back to square one completely. That is really frustrating. Hopefully it won't come to that though and you get your BFP and sticky bean soon 🤞🏻

I've read a few people saying they found hsg ok and just had some cramping but they seem to be far fewer than the people saying it was awful haha. The Dr told me not to Google but who is he kidding, obviously doesn't know me! 🤣

My OH attempted to complain about having to give another semen analysis and I just described a hsg to him and he quickly agreed ok us woman have it way tougher!

crazycatlady1981 · 11/09/2020 07:30

@Mia1985x glad your fertility appt went well! Unfortunately I don’t know anything about HSG, but do keep us posted on how it all goes. Yep us ladies have definitely got the worst deal with all these tests we have to go through!

@Stabal sorry to hear you have to wait another year for more tests, that’s gutting. But hopefully you’ll conceive naturally before then.

11dpo here, less spotting than usual this month and temps are up again today. If temps stay up over the weekend I may do an IC on Monday but I’m not convinced they will be!
@CAG14 how’s everything today? Are you testing at all over the weekend?

CAG14 · 11/09/2020 08:23

@Mia1985x so pleased you are getting seen to quickly and things are progressing. Sounds positive too.

@crazycatlady1981 I think im going to wait until Sunday to test. I don't feel pregnant at all though so I'm not confident. Any symptoms for you?

Stabal · 11/09/2020 13:32

I'm finding a pattern with a few days after my period every month I feel extremely low. I wonder if it's the hormones balancing out after a bleed. I feel like it's a never ending cycle of finding an even keel with my emotions!

27DONFIN · 11/09/2020 13:43

@Stabal I am the same the day my period came (Wednesday) and yesterday morning I was in a really good mood positive full of energy last night I had a little cry then this morning major melt dow in floods of tears over it all. I feel so consumed and I just want to let go but I’m too scared to x
