BFP rainbow babies

Hi All, I had a mmc at the end of June, and am now 8dpo after our first ovulation since the mmc. Surprisingly, I got this result this morning. Seems too early but it's there... Anyone else got a recent bfp after a miscarriage and is going through the anxiety of it all happening again? Hoping to see lots of rainbow babies xx

Hi @ArjaD was thinking of you this morning. Sorry for your bfn. It’s so horrible isn’t it that tiny window of hope where you pray you see a little line to give us hope. I did a boots cheapie hcg strip and was bfn. I really don’t think this is my month. Can’t understand why I get faint positives this month and last but then af arrives?? Maybe recurrent chemicals. Your lines were so evident. What test is that cross one? Is it sensitive ? I’m just telling myself I am out this month as I hate the wait and the money I’m spending on PT. It’s such a rip off. I paid £8.99 for one cb and they are so much cheaper on amazon just hate the wait for them to be delivered. I will keep praying for you though xxx

@Idreamof2more I meant to say too, the blue dye tests are Sainsbury's ones. No idea how sensitive but they can be taken 5 days before period is due. I'm going to take another one of those later today after holding my wee for four hours or so. I just hope frer is just not picking it up yet.

Ah okay I might try one tomorrow if I get there. I am due Monday or tuesday (according to flo). My boobs are dull achy and I was so hot in the night but who knows. If I am I will be shocked. Would love to hold out until Wednesday but know I can’t. Okay look forward to your update I’m sure you will see another lovely cross xx

Bfn for me today on clear blue and think I’ve started spotting very slightly. Feel okay though on to next month. @ArjaD have you tested again I have everything crossed for you xx

@Idreamof2more I haven't dared to test again. Hubby has his hopes up and I'm so scared of disappointing him. Will maybe do another test tomorrow if I can bear it.... How are you feeling? The spotting may not be af yet!

I am feeling that af is on her way tbh. I feel surprisingly okay though although a little bit disappointed. On to the next month. Keeping everything crossed for you I have a good feeling x

@Idreamof2more just think at least you are lucky enough to be able to keep trying. ❤️ I'm worried time is running out for us. Soon hubby will be gone for five months at a time and I'm already 37 now.

I know lovely that’s hard for you. I’m 41 in jan so although my dp is home my time is really running out xx

Wish we could just plan our lives five years ahead and what we planned would happen no matter what 🙄

Did my frer this morning, bfn. I guess I'm either having repeat cp or just very unlucky with tests. Ugh wish I hadn't tested early now. Onward to next year I guess. 😣

So sorry @ArjaD my af showed last night so same for me.. it’s so frustrating esp when we see lines. Thinking of you although your aren’t out until she shows xx

Bless you that’s such a selfless thing to say. I know it’s prob not what you want to hear but I have read first response picking up positives later. Still keeping everything crossed for you.

@Idreamof2more that is so odd, I feel the same. I look at my toddler and realise how blessed we already are to even have him. I don't want to go through ivf or anything like that, if it isn't in His plan then it's not meant to be.

I’ve been dreaming of a fizzy Prosecco and I think I will enjoy a glass or two very soon and also celebrate my blessings.
I am always here even if you want to message me on here also. I am really not sure if I want to have another right now. I want to relax stop peeing on sticks etc and enjoy Christmas.
I have wasted hundreds of pounds on pregnancy tests also money I could have spent on my babies.
Oh well lesson learnt.

OP don't give up I'm much older than you. Had a missed miscarriage last year at 13 ish weeks - was devastated as had already told people having had 12 week scan.
Grieved hard. Like you I had a positive quite soon after that turned in to a heavy period - I now think probably chemical and too soon for my body. Few months later tested a week after af was due (had given up) and got a positive. Now 38 weeks and awaiting arrival.
Didnt stop worrying until about 28 weeks but way more relaxed now.
You have lots of time - let your body recover .
