Right SMEP.. determined. Anyone else?

Hey all
I've been ttc for a long time, I had my lap and dye last week which removed all endo visible and unstuck my left ovary from my tube. My tubes are clear. The horrible bleeding that I had after is coming to an end. I'm very determined to try everything I can this month and the following months if I fail.
I have read about this SMEP and I've heard good things about it.
Today I am CD 5 so I am going to start dtd tonight instead of the recommendation of CD 8. I done an ovulation test today (just for fun) there's a second line but very much not positive so going to keep doing them twice a day until I get my surge. Also have some cb advance ones coming tomorrow.

My question is how many people have used this method and been successful on here? Would love to keep chatting to people through these next 6 months if possible as this is kind of the last hurdle before more fertility tests are taken for both me and my DP xx

I have 3 😁 eeek. Don't wanna get my hopes up though if negative tomorrow morning then I will wait the full 48 hours to do another xx

You have approximately 10000000 x the amount of willpower I have!! I'd have ripped open that FRER already!

Haha we have the DPs mum around for dinner this evening so that'll take my mind off of things until later lol. I've done an IC but think it's negative only took it 2 mins ago xx

That one does look negative @mich2020 you are so early though. I know it's super disheartening but unless you're 11/12 DPO it's very early to rule yourself out

@Mich2020 you said AF wasn’t due until 13th? So it’s still early days. Don’t give up hope just yet there is still time

@Mich2020 you are still very early to test maybe leave it a couple of days and if you still have strong symptoms test again

Eurgh i made the mistake of testing yesterday, got the very clear 'not pregnant' ha, stupid really as it was the only test i had in and even if it had of come up with prgnant it wasnt even the digital with the weeks indicator in it. oh well i hope af comes soon as im running to the toilet quite often as i (tmi) feel massively 'wet' down there its so strange

@Bbdm1984 increase in CM can be a good sign! When is AF due?

@Mich2020 you are very early to test so please don't feel too disheartened

@1940s If i have a 25 day cycle its due thursday if its back to 28 day it would be sunday i am 11/12dpo today i dont hold out much hope i always have lots of pregnancy symptoms and then af comes. How are you feeling any symptoms? When is af due for you friday?

12dpo I would definitely test! I got my BFP with a FRER at 11DPO with an afternoon pee @Bbdm1984 give it a go today!

I have symptoms... of AF coming :( a few days before AF I get terrible night sweats and they started last night so I'm so so certain I'm out. I'm 9dpo today and hope my luteal phase is at the very least 11 days, hopefully 12/13 and then at least I have the satisfaction of a regular legnth cycle. (I've had one or two cycles since TTC of late Ov due to a bug) I will wait until 13DPO to test I've not come on....but I'm not hopeful at all this month. I can just tell

Sorry about your negative test result @Bbdm1984 doesn't mean your out though so keeping fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 when are you testing again?
Yes your right @1940s I know it's early but I would love it to be this month.

I've tested again with an IC just now. There's a stupidly faint faint line I'm sure but camera not picking it up well. I need to stop myself POAS!!! Haha. When's everyone else testing? Xx

@Mich2020 I can definitely see a faint line in that first pic (out of the three) you've posted. So strange FRER isn't picking it up

Also done a opk with same urine.. nearly positive.. ahh this is stressful, I'm going to try hold this evening and do another cheapie, then if I get some sort of line maybe hold out and do the frer tomorrow afternoon/evening. I don't know.xx

Im out guys, blood tinged cm has started which is how af always starts... i have everything crossed both @Mich2020 and @1940s get your bfp's this month and keep the success of everyone else going... onto cycle 15 for me haha good luck everyone

@Mich2020 thank you i expected it, i am definitely going to carry on catching up with everyone and seeing all your updates. I think i am just going to forget about it until we have all our tests done (if they ever reatart appointments again) and go from there xx

@1940s can you actually see that one? I don't want to waste the frer if this isn't a strong enough line. It came up within the 5 minute mark and it's definitely there just faint x

Yes I can see the faintest faintest line. I've been taking my tests in bright daylight as that's the only way I can rule out a squinter! But I can see the faintest of lines
