Right SMEP.. determined. Anyone else?

Hey all
I've been ttc for a long time, I had my lap and dye last week which removed all endo visible and unstuck my left ovary from my tube. My tubes are clear. The horrible bleeding that I had after is coming to an end. I'm very determined to try everything I can this month and the following months if I fail.
I have read about this SMEP and I've heard good things about it.
Today I am CD 5 so I am going to start dtd tonight instead of the recommendation of CD 8. I done an ovulation test today (just for fun) there's a second line but very much not positive so going to keep doing them twice a day until I get my surge. Also have some cb advance ones coming tomorrow.

My question is how many people have used this method and been successful on here? Would love to keep chatting to people through these next 6 months if possible as this is kind of the last hurdle before more fertility tests are taken for both me and my DP xx

Oh Mich. can you do a FRER with FMU?

I don't have any frer. Clearblue being delivered today though x

My clearblue... edited and unedited but it was after time frame as had to pick up DC from school.... and I've just done this IC and omg there was a line within 3 mins and it's so much more visible in person. And it's pink!!!

And I've just done another IC... came up within 3 minutes!!!! 🙈 it's definitely there and more obvious than any of my previous ones. Thoughts?!? Please x

I have terrible line eyes and cant see anything but i have absolutely everything crossed for you. I would maybe ring my gp office and ask for hcg beta bloods if i was having positives like you are to get them to confirm x

Thank you though @Bbdm1984 this is the first one I've actually been kinda excited about, the others kept fading into nothing and this one is still visible on the stick hours later. I still haven't had another wee so for the hell of it I'll dip another later and see what happens x

Yes 3 days going by my normal cycle but I had my lap and dye last month so could have affected things xx

Another bfp on IC but negative frer. Literally have no clue what's going on anymore. I feel like crying. Can't even post another photo yet but I will when I can x

Aww im really sorry your going through this @Mich2020 (to be honest ive zoomed in and still cant see a second line on any of your pocs, however i am not doubting they are there irl) but you have been getting positives for over a week now and they dont seem to be getting any clearer (sorry again if rhey are irl) i would definitely be phoning my gp and asking for bloods to get a definitive answer as to what is going on. It could be that you are very much pregnant and stressing isnt going to help you at all. Good luck, keep us updated xx

@Bbdm1984 I'm going to try a different brand over the weekend to see what happens. Yes they are definitely there irl. Even my DP agreed and he doesn't see anything usually hahaha. They are getting darker. Just wish I had a clear answer. Can't get to the drs until next week. Working until next Thursday now and there's just no time at all x

Frer was negative yesterday, my easy @ home test wasn't negative this morning. Still no AF all the pain but nothing at all ☹️ xx

Oh i am so sorry you are going through this have you googled if the procedure you had done can affect your cycle? X

@Bbdm1984 yes I had a google this morning. It says it can effect cycles. I had a massive bleed 3-4 days after the op a day before my period was due so thought it was my period, so now I'm CD 35 and 4-6 days late for AF depending on what cycle length I go by it does vary sometimes x

But some people say it didn't affect their cycle at all so I don't know 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

Just been to the loo. Pink spotting has started. Will expect full blown AF in the morning 😭☹️ at least I know now where I am. Onto month one millions of TTC xx

@Mich2020 i am so sorry, you and me both on the millionth month mark. But it is better than being in limbo and not knowing. Ive given up until end of year/beginning of next year, FW does not tye in with dp working away till then so we are bringing the fun back into sex rather than having sex to concieve. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you get your sticky bean soon xx

Wine.. food.. camping downstairs just me and DP 🥰 just what's needed after a stressful week. I am going to try and relax a bit more this month and hope for the best. Good luck to everyone xx
