Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 3

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

Did you crack it open?! Xxx

poptypingchef · 08/10/2020 00:49

Well here’s an odd one now CD5 and it’s leapt up to higher than my highest point of the last cycle 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️.

I’ve marked this and last CD1 in red and OV in green

@poptypingchef how strange - did you have any drinks last night?

Sat at 64 again on RHR so no movement although it seems a bit high for RHR graph so expecting to revise down. Curious to what will happen as last month I had this, then a dip and then my increase to BFP so we will have to see 🤞🏻

Moominmiss · 08/10/2020 07:39

9dpo. Rhr up again, temp up too. Bfn on cheapy this morning though. Not hopeful anymore. I’ve had bfp’s at 9dpo in the past.

Rhr being at 75 is the highest it’s ever been in my history of wearing Fitbit lol.

@Moominmiss implantation isn't something that happens at the same point in every pregnancy though! Fingers crossed your get your BFP in like 2 days' time.

LS2020 · 08/10/2020 09:17

@Moominmiss yes it can take 48 hours from implant to get any detectable HCG so please don’t write yourself off yet!

mumof23188 · 08/10/2020 09:20

@LS2020 surely it can’t be coincidence?! How many Dpo will you be at the weekend? I’m interested to see what happens with your HR too ☺️.

@Mrsi2020 no I didn’t! What do I look for if I crack them open? An indent?

@Moominmiss still looking so promising for you ☺️🤞

My HR has finally gone up! Still really low tho!

@mumof23188 in theory 9dpo on Saturday but never got a confirmed OPK so it’s anyone’s guess 😂 this always happens though I’ll say I’ll leave testing til I have a clearer picture and then my RHR goes static haha

Fx for your rise 🤞🏻

mumof23188 · 08/10/2020 09:44

@LS2020 ahh it’s a tough one. It depends wether you could handle seeing a BFN as to wether you test early. Probably be best to wait as long as you can. I’m not bothered to much about seeing a BFN early on. I just pray for a miracle 🤣
Thank you! I keep checking because I bet it gets revised down 😂

LS2020 · 08/10/2020 10:06

@mumof23188 I don’t mind the bfn I’m just so tight I hate wasting the money 😂
Yeah mine must do, mines normally the middle line of my RHR from when I’ve been asleep but 64 is higher than it was all night so it must get revised soon

mumof23188 · 08/10/2020 10:18

@LS2020 god I know what you mean. They’re so expensive aren’t they! Ahh I Hope you didn’t think I meant yours was going to, I meant I bet mine does. Although averagely mine was 66bpm last night.

Moominmiss · 08/10/2020 10:38

@Juno231 I hope you’re right. Still keeping my fingers crossed. Would be Sod’s law that I’d get a bfp this cycle after literally only just forking out £160 for a 12 month subscription with OvuSense lol. Not that I’d complain and I’d take the bfp over a wasted subscription any day. Whereabouts are you now? Are you still waiting on your fw?

@LS2020 thank you. I’m trying hard to stay positive and I know it’s early etc, but it’s so difficult not to get down at the sight of a bfn no matter how early you tell yourself it is. I haven’t seen a bfp since June so feels like a lifetime ago. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you for when you test!!!

@mumof23188 keeping my fingers crossed that your rhr stays up and doesn’t revise itself down. Here’s hoping it just keeps on rising! How many dpo are you now? When will you test next?

LS2020 · 08/10/2020 10:43

@mumof23188 yeah I got sick of spending like £20 a month on them to be negative 😂
No I totally got you, I was just sympathising with! I honestly feel so dreadfully nauseous again today but now I’m thinking on ive gotten 5 migraines this last week and think that can make you feel sick right so probably nothing exciting!

@Moominmiss I’m feeling for you, it’s such a tough process. It sounds like you may benefit from waiting to test each cycle which is easier said that done but will spare you a bit of heartache of seeing a bfn. Plus if you find out at 14dpo rather than say 9dpo you’re 1 week closer to holding your baby so it’s an upside both ways as you save money on tests ☺️ But honestly I wouldn’t let any result at 9dpo get you down, the statistical chances are so low and last month for my CP I implanted about 8-9 days in so I would never have got a BFP then too xx

poptypingchef · 08/10/2020 12:28

Oh lots happening, trying to catch up!

@LS2020 I haven’t had a drink in 3 years due to a condition I have so definitely not that 😂😂😂 it’s stayed at 63 so who knows. I hope you start to feel better soon - as you say it’s so tough.

@Moominmiss hang in there.

@mumof23188 - what are you thinking? Will you test again

Juno231 · 08/10/2020 14:13

@Moominmiss yeah I'm CD7 and waiting for FW still :) Should be ovulating around one week from today I think, give or take 2 days on either side!

mumof23188 · 08/10/2020 15:08

@Moominmiss ahhh good luck 🤞that would be so typical!! We need some BFP on this thread!

@LS2020 yes it works out so much over the months doesn’t it. Oh bless you, headaches are bad enough let alone migraines 😩.

@poptypingchef I seriously can’t understand the whole RHR thing. Strange how yours is that high!

So I got revised down 😂 knew it! Confusing tho because my HR has been high all day. Feeling really poorly 🤒. Not testing again! Don’t think it’s happened for me this month.

poptypingchef · 08/10/2020 15:16

@mumof23188 - I know every time i get a month that resembles a previous one it does something weird. I did have a bit of a headache so was expecting it to drop today.

I’m sorry you feel it might not be you month. Is there something fun you can plan to fill the time in?

LS2020 · 08/10/2020 17:02

@poptypingchef mine stayed at 64 too and my RHR graph doesn’t make sense to that so I’m more convinced than ever this app just makes up numbers 😂

@mumof23188 see my above comment - it’s just witchcraft. I swear mine should be like 59, who makes this up!? Sorry to hear you got revised down though, take care of yourself this month and treat yo self!

mumof23188 · 08/10/2020 17:23

@poptypingchef I’m the exact same. Mine is different every month! I can’t keep up with it. Not really but I will find something 🤣.

@LS2020 I totally agree! Crazy! Here’s mine for the day. It’s not dropped below 67 and averagely at night it was 66! Makes no sense?!

LS2020 · 08/10/2020 17:45

@mumof23188 yeah on mine that would be showing as a 67, maybe a 68 - how odd! Also can’t understand how your sleeping heart rate is higher than your resting?! You are literally at rest

mumof23188 · 08/10/2020 18:31

@LS2020 maybe I need a new one?! It just makes no sense 😩. Glad you agree with me! What one have you got? Mines a few years old!

Fran2020 · 08/10/2020 19:34

Hey, sorry I've taken some time out! How is everyone? I'm 11DPO on cycle 16. Still waiting for my Gynae and fertility clinic referrals. But I did have a private consultation on Monday and going to actually get the rubella immunisation now in the hope it gives me SOME kind of immunity. Then after a month, I will have the HSG x

LS2020 · 09/10/2020 06:06

@mumof23188 I’ve got a Fitbit Alta that’s probably about 18 months old?
Mines dropped right down to 61 today so think that’s me out 😂 not surprising given yesterday’s reads!

@Fran2020 welcome back ☺️ I’m in same position as you, just waiting for my referrals and internal scan but beyond a request for my some record details i haven’t heard anything yet! What’s HSG?

SarahTTC2020 · 09/10/2020 09:04

Hey @Fran2020, nice to see you again! I'm 5 weeks today although my HR isn't particularly high and I feel no different. Had a cb test say 3+ today which I was pleased about so FC

mumof23188 · 09/10/2020 09:12

Hi @Fran2020 hope you are doing ok? I’m 11dpo today. So almost in sync with you. Hopefully you hear soon from them.

@LS2020 I’m going to look at getting a new one I think. Still plenty of time for it to go back up tho 🤞. Mine went up today to a whopping 63bpm 😂.

@SarahTTC2020 ahh lovely 😊. Glad to hear you are doing well.
