Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 3

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@Littlebee1990 @Mrsi2020 hmm yours are making me worried 😂😂 I’m hoping mine was actually peaked because I wasn’t sleeping right and this is me normalising 😫

That line progression is amazing! I wish I’d done mine now!

@Fran2020 oh hope you do hear soon I’ve got fx for you. The Doctor said to me that most people who come in for referrals actually get pregnant during the time they’re waiting so it’s more TTC chance ☺️

@BabyDust13 test with another with FMU tomorrow and then hopefully should arrive soon. Maybe use Thurs morning? That’s when I got my BFP, 2 days before x

LS2020 · 15/09/2020 17:08

@mumof23188 I really hope this is your month lovely 💕

Littlebee1990 · 15/09/2020 17:10

@LS2020 I know people who have taken their fitbits off because it was stressing them out and causing worry for no reason, sleeping somewhere different can also impact it and you’ll sleep different x

LS2020 · 15/09/2020 17:13

@Littlebee1990 ah that’s good to know - I’m currently on holiday abroad. I wondered if was partly just relaxing and the night I got my peak I’d slept 90 mins all night so I think I’m just stabilising. I’ve still got massive nausea and sore boobs so I’m not worried atm!

Littlebee1990 · 15/09/2020 17:17

@LS2020 Enjoy the break! See I’m worried because I have no other symptoms.. apart from struggling to sleep past 4AM and lots of BFPs I would have no idea I’m pregnant so I’m worried because I have no nausea or painful boobies or anything! I’m sure when it comes later down the line I’ll say “oh I remember when I moaned about feeling normal”

LS2020 · 15/09/2020 17:21

@Littlebee1990 struggling to stay asleep is a symptom!
Tbh I feel like mine are v strong for 4 weeks and yeah I’m worried that means it’s gonna get worse as time goes on or it’s twins (which everyone keeps joking to me who knows as my mum is one).
I’ve also wondered if I’m slightly further along than I think as most of the apps I’ve now downloaded seem to think you should get sickness and boobs from week 6 so I honestly wouldn’t worry and yes I can 100% confirm I’m already at the place I’d take no symptoms so we can be in misery together in a few weeks time 😂

mumof23188 · 15/09/2020 17:24

@LS2020 thank you but I know it’s not! I’m just more annoyed with myself for wasting money on bloody tests!! Actually really pissed off with myself right now. Honestly lovely don’t worry about the HR it fluctuates so much in pregnancy. I had one month where it was 84 then the next month 67! Hope you are having the best holiday ☺️

Mrsi2020 · 15/09/2020 19:31

@Littlebee1990 I notice altho both of ours have flatlined they’re both above normal???

@mumof23188 thanks hun. I really hope you get something. It’s a cruel cruel process. I know I’ve said it before but it’s pure torture xxx

Mrsi2020 · 15/09/2020 19:35

@LS2020 after a total of 5 losses in my life I get satisfaction from the testing and the progression. Every time for me that not being “right” has been the v first indicator . And I’ve liked the forewarning. I know some people like to be oblivious and enjoy it but I can’t help it with my history .

@mumof23188 the temping is farrrrr better, I genuinely think it’s the only way for detecting ov and being sure of it (obv alongside opks is good too!)

@ls2020 @Littlebee1990 I have v little symptoms. I’m not as concerned about the rhr I’m just gonna go by the tests and hope for the best. It’s all we can do. Everyone’s rhr is different, the original thread of this a lot of people had to turn heart rates off because it was inaccurate. Good to remember. Hope you’re both ok! I want symptoms for reassurance but not for the actual ill feeling 🤣 xxx

mumof23188 · 15/09/2020 19:50

@Mrsi2020 it is pure torture! All the wondering is draining! Yes looking forward to getting confirmation that ovulation has actually happened. Will be using the cheapies OPK’s aswell. Ahh I just love your line progression 😍. I’ll attach my test from this morning. I don’t know if FRER are meant to be blank if they’re negative or if there’s always a line?! The lighting is terrible as it was 6am so barely even light!

Is using opks to detect hcg an actual thing? I've just done one there and the line was dark ish. Not quite a positive result but its definitely there?

Mrsi2020 · 15/09/2020 20:53

Yes @ambs1994 that’s how my sister found out she was preg!!

@mumof23188 I see a line, my negative frer were stark white. I only had a false positive on a Tesco. I had faint FRERs with a v early loss but I was v early xxx

ambs1994 · 15/09/2020 20:56

@Mrsi2020 looks like I'm going to have to get some cheap tests tomorrow and see if anything shows

SarahTTC2020 · 15/09/2020 21:10

@ambs1994 I think so but you can also get a surge of LH before AF where you see a second line

ambs1994 · 15/09/2020 21:14

@SarahTTC2020 @mrsi2020
Tonight's opk. I definitely need some cheap tests either way anyway and see what they say.

Evening guys- if I’m working on a 28 day cycle I am currently 9dpo not really got any symptoms and yesterday my RHR dropped 2 beats so I figured oh well it’ll keep dropping to AF now as normally happens.
But then today It’s gone up a beat, could be the heat but I’ll just have to wait on a little while longer. I’ll probably wait until day 34 anyway to avoid disappointment of early testing. I don’t know if this month will be another 28dayer or closer to 34. If it is 34 then I’m 5dpo and no chance as didn’t do the deed.

Kona84 · 15/09/2020 22:12

Below are August and this month.

F sake my RHR has dropped again although I think the strap came undone in night as it was basically around the back of my hand when I woke so I’m hoping that’s the reason why 😂 might have to take it off til I get home so I don’t stress on it.
Still feeling abs fine with strong symptoms so trying not to panic 😖

Thanks @mumof23188. I know that’s why I got my cheapie tests but they turned out to be rubbish anyway 😂 worse things to spend your money on I guess!

@Mrsi2020 yeah being on the other side with the nausea I think I would have maybe liked it just a teeny bit later like weeks 6-7 haha 😂 my advice is enjoy it!

@ambs1994 I think you get a small uplift of LH before AF. I heard it had to be a positive OPK as well, not just a result as we always have some level of LH but that you’d always get a result on a PG test before you’d tip an OPK so will be worth trying when they arrive 😊

@Kona84 I would still say that’s a good chart! Do you not temp or use OPKs to confirm O? Might give you some reassurance next month

Kona84 · 16/09/2020 06:21

@LS2020 I ran out of opks
Normally OV day 20 of a 32-34 day cycle but last few months I’ve had a 28 day cycle but not sure of OV day

LS2020 · 16/09/2020 06:27

@Kona84 do you know if you have a pattern on RHR when you O? Mine would shoot up, that’s how you might be able to tell which it was 😊

Kona84 · 16/09/2020 06:37

@LS2020
Yes mine always shoots up that why I thought this spike was just my normal ovulation but it would normally be plummeting back towards 60 by now.
I’ll just give it another week and see what happens.

BabyDust13 · 16/09/2020 08:00

Since I got an Apple Watch it's so hard to tell what's going on with my RHR it seems to be all over the place with no pattern. My Fitbit was def better at tracking it so I'm trying not to worry about it to much

BabyDust13 · 16/09/2020 08:58

Well ladies my FRER arrived super early and obviously I couldn't resist 😬

2/3 more days until AF is due - it's been a tough year I really hope this is it 🤞🏼
