Hey everyone, what does ovulation pain feel like? I almost feel like I'm coming on my period or maybe have a UTI? Got static smiley today so hoping I ovulate today or tomorrow x

@Diorissimo1985 Congrats on Bfp! I'm sorry it's such a worrying time though. I agree with the other ladies and it really could be something and nothing 🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 hopefully it will settle down over the next couple of days xx

@chloedancer897 For me it usually feels like a pinching/ pulling sensation kind of more like twinges. Ahh yay for static you should be ovulating soon!! I got my static 2 days ago and then think I ovulated yesterday xx

@Diorissimo1985 don’t give up hope until you know for sure but I understand your doubts if it’s the same as before. X

@chloedancer897 ovulation pain for me is a dull stabbing pain in one side constantly for hours or even all day x

@chloedancer897 that may well be ovulation if it’s a bit like cramping to one side? Mines like a strong sharp pain. I didn’t feel it this month so guessing I ovulated during the night. Xxx

Thanks @Pugprincess @Northernsoul90 @HappyVibes I have a bit of pinching on one side too plus temp drop today so I think this is where I've been going wrong. I clearly ovulate the day I get the static smiley and I've always assumed it's the day after and because I've been doing SMEP, I only DTD CD10 and 12 but I really should be doing it 11,12 and 13. Hopefully I'm covered this month as we did it 11,12 and 13! Had a little breakdown again today and I'm awful at the TWW so not looking forward to that

@chloedancer897 that definitely sounds like ovulation then with the time in your cycle, the description of the feeling & the temp. Sounds like you have this month well & truly covered so sending you lots of baby dust girl! So if you ovulated today, you can be fertile for 24hours after ovulation too. Awww this is the time to invest in plans & socialising & keeping occupied. This is our month gallll 💓

Going to catch up with the thread properly with my coffee. I'm CD 6 now AF was so different this month, lots lighter than usual, one heavier day and tailed off yesterday and finished🤷🏻. I'm wondering whether any of my spotting days were actually AF too, but anyway.

GP has booked another set of progesterone bloods & I have my scan next week. Will start my OPKs in a few days 💕

@MichT4 brilliant news that everything seems in line with whwn you ovulated. Absolutely need to keep positive, the sac wouldn't show without a high level of HCG so that is so so reassuring. I bet you can't wait until Thursday! 💕💕

@chloedancer897 how were your temps this morning? Yes it does sound like you ovulate on day of your static. I wonder if you get your LH surge at some point in the day previous after your morning test and then that's why it seems to happen so quickly! Xx

@Diorissimo1985 I'm so sorry you're having some spotting. Have you contacted your GP so they can start doing tests? I know before they looked into things quite quickly for you. Did you take the aspirin in the end? Xx

@gizmo167 welcome 🥰 sorry for your loss. Fellow PCOS-er here (found out recently so getting my head around it). How do you manage yours? Cycles post MC can be so funny. That's how I found out I had PCOS because everything went mental after my MC and I realised I wasn't ovulating. xx

@Rainbowhope11 sounds like you are being well taken care of! Will they do follicle tracking scans once you've taken the clomid? Xx

@VP91x yes I took the aspirin but I think I will stop. I have HCG tests later today.
I just have the feeling it’s gone. Intuition is usually right 😔

@MichT4 I'm getting there some days better than others just trying to nibble on things avoid going back on drip. Honestly pregnancy is just one roller coaster from ttc to giving birth i really see why women are the strong ones

@VP91x I put in my temp this morning and now FF says I didn't ovulate so I'm completely stressing out. I've attached it for you to look at. It looks to me like I ovulated yesterday

@VP91x thanks lovely. No I can't wait now, just need that confirmation either way. I am trying to be positive, just can't get those lines out of my head 🙄. Not long to wait now 🤞🏼

@VP91x thanks for the welcome! I was diagnosed with pcos after suffering with irregular periods many years ago, all I was recommended was to go on the pill, which I never have! Took me 3 years to conceive DD and that was after ovarian drilling! Cycles went back to normal after i had DD, I lost my husband 5 years ago & have just over a year ago met my first love again & discovered I was pregnant in January which was my mc! I can safely say the only problems I had was acne which really hasn't been anywhere near as bad & since the mc my cycles settled down to regular 28 days but I've no idea of i even ov so am thinking this is my pcos playing tricks!

@Diorissimo1985 I'm sorry you have been spotting, I totally understand what you mean about just having that feeling. I'm really hoping you are wrong xx

As for me, cd31 today, haven't tested again, I'm scared to bc I don't want another bfn! Surely by now if I were pregnant it would have showed when I tested Monday? I didn't use fmu, tested in afternoon using ic but it was the day my af was due! So confused! I still have af cramps but again last night these felt like stretching pains, nipples are a little sore to touch now tho so prob just late af!

@chloedancer897 that definitely looks like ovulation, FF won't confirm ovulation until it has three temp rises, plus you don't have temps from early on in your cycle so it has nothing to go by. Don't worry, I'm pretty confident you've ovulated based on that dip and sharp rise in line with your static xx
