@MichT4 yes it's really strange, but then you probably would have tested as af would officially be late now.
Nausea has been fine today which makes me worry it wasn't pregnancy related but time will tell. I'm so exhausted though but just can't sleep as soon as I go to bed my mind becomes awake and thinks every single possible thought. Roll on 12 weeks 😂.
Did you have your bloods done today? Xx

Rebecca1992 · 25/08/2020 17:57

@MichT4 I'm so glad everything looks fine on the scan, fingers crossed your bloods show a healthy pregnancy progressing!! Best of luck ❤

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 18:02

@Lollol86 yeah I suppose. Just think if I'd done one test and trusted the result, I'd be thinking all was ok now.
Just have to wait and see I guess. I had them today and then will have another on Thursday and that will show if hcg is rising or not.
I think they say nausea might not be every day, so don't worry. Or you might just be getting away with a symptom free pregnancy. That's another thing, I feel nothing pregnancy or AF related, pits aside of course 🙃

@Rebecca1992 thank you. Would be nice to have been more conclusive but nothing I can do now but wait for Thursday. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼

How are you?

Rebecca1992 · 25/08/2020 18:34

@MichT4 Fingers & Toes crossed for Thursday for a rise!! Your being super positive, I can only imagine how stressed and worried you must be...I really hope its good news Thursday for you!!

I'm good, thank you! Enjoying a night away with OH before schools and routine are back in swing! I have a prenatal spa treatment in the morning so I'm so looking forward to that!!

How did your nurse/sonographer seem?? Positive?? I suppose its positive that she said a faint test at this stage can be normal.... also no AF is a plus! Although Thursday should give you a definite answer!

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 18:43

@Rebecca1992 oh blinkin hell that sounds delightful! Where have you gone? How many weeks are you now?

She seemed impartial really. She was matter of fact and said she couldn't make a definite conclusion. When I asked if that's what she'd expect to see at 5 weeks she said yes. She said sometimes they don't expect positive tests til over 6 weeks, but that's what's still playing on my mind of course. I guess it's positive that she didn't seem to understand why I assumed it was a MC, but it's not like she was full of reassurance either. Think it's dangerous territory to be too positive though as a sonographer.

I feel ok though, am assuming I'll be hearing the familiar words of declining levels but I know I need to be hopeful xx

Lollol86 · 25/08/2020 18:47

@MichT4 in general I don't feel pregnant at all, but I know I'm also trying to block it out and trying to protect myself incase the worse happens.
Fingers crossed for both of us xx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 18:51

@Lollol86 fairly sure that's what I'm doing too. Though you have some nice big strong lines to back yours up.
I do hope you can enjoy it soon. Sorry for being forgetful, when's your scan?

🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 for sure xx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 18:51

@Lollol86 AND a 3+ 🥳🥳

Pugprincess · 25/08/2020 18:57

@MichT4 how late are you now? I know my friend takes ages to get a positive test. I can ask her how long exactly for you but from my memory it was 1-2 weeks late before tests would pick hers up xx

Lollol86 · 25/08/2020 19:21

@MichT4 I don't think I will relax until after 12 weeks. I've got a private scan the 5th so next Saturday. I will be bang on 7 weeks, I will then book another one in for 10 weeks. Last time I had a scan at 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat, I had a scan at 11 weeks 4 days as due to spotting and it showed the baby's topped growing at 8 and a half weeks so i need to have a scan just after that to confirm all is ok. I've not even phoned the doctors yet going to wait until after my 7 week scan.
Such a worrying time isn't it.
Are you watching anything interesting now? I've nearly finished mafsa, but just about to start watching the fall on Netflix, I've heard it's really good xx

DBTJ · 25/08/2020 19:36

@MichT4 no bleeding and a visible sac at 5 weeks is fine I had the same. You will get another scan at 7 weeks as they ask you to come back 2 weeks later. I'm sure all is well. Remember no cramping no bleeding = relax . After my two mc I just decided that stressing will not change the outcome here iam weeks later battling morning sicknessSmile

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 19:43

@Pugprincess I think I'll be 2 weeks late on Friday or Saturday, if I ovulated when I think I did. But definitely over a week. That's interesting about your friend though. Just wonder why I had the faint lines 🤔

@Lollol86 it really is an anxious time. It's such a shame how it effects your mindset. Totally understand you wanting the extra scans though, I think I'd be the same. I've never got to the heartbeat scan stage 😢

I'm still slowly finishing MAFSA. Being away for a week didn't help. I keep watching films, today is 'how to lose a guy in 10 days'.
We were watching the innocence files on Netflix. I thought we had watched how to get away with murder but I can't see it on my continue watching list 😂
Apparently line of duty is great. My sister is raving about it xx

Lollol86 · 25/08/2020 19:48

@MichT4 was your first mc quite early?
Seeing the heartbeat at 6 weeks definitely made it harder to accept the baby was no longer growing.
Line of duty is amazing you need to watch it xx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 19:49

Thank you @DBTJ that is reassuring. As I said though, if I just had all this and a positive test I'd be positive, but the weeks of faint/negative tests is just keeping my guard up.
I do I am joining you soon though 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Has the sickness got any better? xx

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 19:53

@Lollol86 both have been early. The first one was about 6 weeks I think (never had any confirmation of dates) and the second I started spotting 2 days after my positive so I had the MC confirmed at about 5 weeks 2 days xx

HE88 · 25/08/2020 19:55

@MichT4 just catching up on your news I have everything crossed for you and all is positive 😊. Xx

Diorissimo1985 · 25/08/2020 20:08

Hi ladies, I’ve been awol sorry - we had a few days away and I was trying to keep my mind off TTC. After some faint positives last week the line did develop to very dark - but today I’ve had pink spotting / pinky mucus so I’m fearing my third miscarriage of the year now 😔 Mild cramping too.
I should be about 4w 2 days.
I’m devastated and so angry this keeps happening to me.

Pugprincess · 25/08/2020 20:16

@Diorissimo1985 aw don’t give up hope, it might be implantation related, pink and light brown is normal I have read. I had light brown on and off from 4/5 weeks. Mild cramps are normal too. Have you done another test to see how it’s looking? Not sure whether that’s good advice though but might offer some reassurance. X

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 20:22

Thank you @HE88 🤞🏼 how are you?

Oh @Diorissimo1985 sorry to hear you're worrying, but congratulations on your bfp! I know it's hard, and I'd be the same, but try not to worry. Pink mucus just sound like something making its way out. Keep an eye but keep positive, it's likely all fine and just a burrowing bean. Give it a few days and see how it progresses, hopefully not at all, then maybe call your EPU if you are worried still xx

HE88 · 25/08/2020 20:27

@MichT4 I'm not bad thanks busy trying to apply for teaching jobs 🙄. I'm on CD 8 and been having weird cramps and pain in my right side, also a weird feeling going down my right thigh. Also tmi but I've been moving my bowles more than usual. Have no idea what's going on I hope its not a reaction to the coq10 I also had acupuncture on Friday so don't know if it could be related to that. Xx

Diorissimo1985 · 25/08/2020 20:31

Thanks @Pugprincess @MichT4 - it’s light pink mucus, not brown at all. I feel identical to how I felt with the first miscarriage and that started at 4 weeks and 3 days. I just have that gut feeling, you know?
At least I get a referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic now I suppose. I feel so angry and devastated. My birthday in two days time too.
It’s so unfair isn’t it?

MichT4 · 25/08/2020 20:50

I reckon acupuncture might have changed your bowel movements @HE88. Good luck with the job hunt! Seen anything interesting?

@Diorissimo1985 I'm in the same situation, hating the fact that I'm almost grateful to be referred to RMC. But I think you need to hold on with your worries, this really could turn out just fine. No reason to suggest anything is wrong yet 🤞🏼🤞🏼 xx

Diorissimo1985 · 25/08/2020 21:02

Thanks @MichT4, thinking of you too xx

HE88 · 25/08/2020 21:20

@MichT4 yeah I did wonder if it could be the acupuncture. It's just temporary posts at the moment with a difference local authority it's a bit dire up here at the moment with teaching jobs! Xx

SmileyT · 25/08/2020 21:22

Hi guys 👋 hope you're all okay

@Lollol86 the fall is amazing. I watched all 3 seasons in one weekend 🙈 and totally know what you mean about seeing the HB and then getting bad news after, with my MMC I saw the HB at just over 6w and just over 7w and they confirmed a few weeks later everything had stopped progressing a few days after my scan. Not long now until your scan though x

@Diorissimo1985 ahh I really hope this isn't another loss, definitely rest up and be kind to yourself, it could be implantation bleeding coming out, I'm keeping everything crossed x

Also @MichT4 watch line of duty it's great 🙌🏾

@Firevie just remember that you are testing to catch the peak, I think the apps that score them can actually confuse things, everything that isn't as dark as control line is negative, mine would read between 0.1 and 0.5 throughout the whole month (pre and post ovulation) but would only go above 0.7 day around ovulation. You naturally have fluctuating amounts of LH in your system throughout your cycle but just before an egg is released there is an actual surge and that's what you're looking for, it won't be a slow rise to the peak over the week or 2 before if that makes any sense. Also I never held my wee for the tests or stopped drinking hours before I just carried on like normal and still caught my peak every month xx
