Hi everyone,

Setting up the new thread for us - we have come a long way since January and sadly a few of us are still on the "journey". Let's hope we arent here for much longer. Wishing us all baby dust (although its been so long I am not sure dust will do it for me - maybe will have to up the particle size to "baby sand" )

Ttc ladies:
@Fizzl
@Nuggetlover27
@ELM7
@Ljm0101
@Abi0795
@Babyghirl

And our recent bfps who i know like to check in :)

The lions face is like my husbands face when i tell him we need to dtd again during ovulation 😂 but 20 times a day!!!! Maybe that's where we arr going wrong ladies!

@Nuggetlover27 without fail every month i Google the following:

"Bfp no symptoms" "bfp at 14dpo after bfn at 13dpo" "late bfp stories" etc etc 😳

@fizzl yep I will be back on the progesterone from tomorrow I think (I wait for my cm to completely go creamy so thati know for sure i have ovulated :) usually around 3dpo.

Strong opk sounds good! And if the positive attitude keeps you going then theres no harm thinking ita s good sign for your LP :D

@Babyghirl we are around the same dpo then and can tey and keep eachotjer sane!

@Annny27 that picture is hilarious! Poor lion, he looks very harassed 😂. 20 times a day is pretty impressive, that lioness means business!

Ok I need everyone's thoughts on when I've ovulated. Typically this is the month where I'm not 100% sure as normally I notice a slight temp drop the day after + opk and then a sustained rise after so it always pinpoints ovulation the day of the temp drop. Whereas this time my temp yesterday didn't drop, I had a + opk in the morning (the day before were still negative, started to go a little darker in the evening but nowhere near positive) but my temp has risen to 36.7 today which is normal for my post ovulation temps. What's your thoughts?! I need to arrange a blood test for 7 days after ovulation and I don't know whether that was yesterday or today. I'm thinking it maybe happened overnight but does your temp rise that quickly?! When should I book my blood test do you think? 🤔 Saturday would be easier for us because we want to go away from wed for a few nights but I don't want to leave it too late and get a false/inaccurate reading on my progesterone levels 😑

Babyghirl · 05/09/2020 10:05

@Annny27
Yep we r indeed we can keep each other company this month hopefully not symptom spot to much 😂😂😂😂 but I knw we will be hopeless at it to say the least 😂😂😂😂😂.
@fizzl
I say Friday or Sat next week should be OK for the blood test my temp drops down to 36.3 most months day off ovulation but wait to c what your temp does in the morning to c if it stays up, hope this is r month and we can pass this ttc for a while lol. 💚💚💚

Morning everyone, is it okay if I join in?
I have been off mumsnet since having a miscarriage at 8 weeks back in May. It totally broke me and after having had time off work and counselling I am feeling so much more myself and more positive.

I would love to share this journey with all of you.

ArjaD · 05/09/2020 12:41

Hi all, hope it's OK if I join too. Like @Cat028 I suffered a miscarriage. Mine was in late June. Ttc again now that my cycles are starting to return to '' normal'' and currently sitting at 7 or 8 dpo. Dying to Test. 😳😳😳😳

Nuggetlover27 · 05/09/2020 13:23

@Fizzl sounds like it's a good sign that you got such a high surge! I think maybe go with the OPKs rather than the temping. I never found temping too accurate for me. But I think you'll be okay for booking your test Saturday.
If AF doesn't arrive today or tomorrow , which I think it will 🙁🙁, I will try and wait until at least next weekend to test. I don't want to test too early. Although I've had quite bad stomach cramping all morning so I'm sure AF is close 😢

@Annny27 omg the lions 😂 I could not cope! Haha. I'm the same! I also love to google "cm before period" and "cm when pregnant" and "implantation bleeding vs period" .. every month! 😂😢

@Cat028 and @ArjaD sorry to find you both here but welcome 😊

ArjaD · 05/09/2020 13:26

If it's OK to ask, those of you who suffered a miscarriage, how long did it take you all to get a bfn afterwards, as in how long were the hormones still in your system?

Nuggetlover27 · 06/09/2020 17:45

Hey all.
Hope you're all okay.
Unfortunately AF has arrived for me today 😢 on to the next month.

@ArjaD mine was a missed miscarriage, it was at 10 weeks measuring 5+4 and I tested 2 weeks after mis carriage happened and got a bfn x

Babyghirl · 06/09/2020 18:42

@nuggetlover27
Sorry to hear the witch arrived, how many months you on to ttc from your loss.

@ArjaD
Think it was bot 2 weeks but i think it all depends on how far along you where and how high your hormones where. I had to get a few blood tests cause mine where dropping slow. 💚💚

Nuggetlover27 · 06/09/2020 18:53

@Babyghirl thanks, My loss was last November so 10 months since and now onto my 9th cycle since 😞

Nuggetlover27 · 06/09/2020 18:54

Think I'm gonna take @Annny27 s approach this month and dtd 7 days in a row up to ov (if we can manage haha) see if that works. I'm running out of ideas. Just dunno why I'm not conceiving

ArjaD · 06/09/2020 19:11

Well i couldn't resist and looks like a positive 😳 took 6 weeks for the hormones to leave my system, now 9 weeks after mmc.

Babyghirl · 06/09/2020 19:13

@nuggetlover27
It's hard when ttc esp for us girls that have been through what we been through, took me ten months to conceive after my first loss I'm now on to month 11 last loss was in Oct so a year nxt cycle if this cycle not successful. But we got this r rainbows r on there way 💚💚💚💚💚

Babyghirl · 06/09/2020 19:36

@ArjaD
Congratulations hope this is a sticky baby. H+h nine months 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Annny27 · 07/09/2020 09:03

morning ladies :D bit of a busy day yesterday, did some decorating in our spare room - i am very delicate in everyday life but whenever I paint I turn into a bull in a China shop. Paint everywhere all over carpet haha 😂

@nuggetlover27 so sorry that AF has arrived :( its always soo shit! I am in cycle 9 I think! Just had to count as I forgot! Really rubbish :( I think dtd everyday is a good plan just to have a go at it once and rhen you won't have to do it other months haha. The last two dtd session did feel like a chore 🙈🙈

@abi0795 congratulations 💗💗 enjoy it all

@babyghirl I love that you are so positive even after 2 losses and 2 years. A real gem 💎

@fizzl mmmm have your temps stayed up? Sometimes I have a very short surge so it could have been that?

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 07/09/2020 09:22

@Annny27
I think we have to try stay positive I'm not always like this lol. But I'm trying to remain positive or I would fall apart lol ❤️❤️❤️

Annny27 · 07/09/2020 15:16

@Babyghirl the months I have been positive about things it has dragged less and been less of a chore :D so I definitley think positivity is the way forward

P.s i am a little bit miffed tbh. I spoke to my friend about it being 9 months and still not pregnant and she said

"Oh that's rubbish 😔 If it makes you feel any better I am now counting the days until my 2 are both in childcare in September... 3 whole days to myself a week"

Surprisingly it DOESNT make me feel better that your children that you have and love are a bit of a pain haha. In fact it just reinforces the mum life that I am not part of 😭

Babyghirl · 07/09/2020 15:33

@Annny27
What a rubbish thing to say, well I would of replyed well I wish I was in your shoes and you could be in mine and your way off thinking would be a lot different. I also hate people who moan about nite feeds and everything else that comes with mother hood what I would give to be up all nite cuddling my baby's but when it happens for us we will cherish every min off it the tiredness an all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

27DONFIN · 07/09/2020 15:52

Hi Ladies hope it’s ok to join.

My OH and I start ttc June 2009 fell pregnant July and miscarried at 6 weeks and are still trying. We had a couple of months afterwards. Each month it just gets more difficult and I have a melt down whether that’s when AF shows up or I find an experience difficult like being around pregnant women. Then I get the guilt for feeling that way. Iv haven’t been on mumsnet since my loss and AF is due on Wednesday so I’m currently down the rabbit hole of google and comparing all my “symptoms” to the last time I was pregnant. I refuse to test till I’m late now and I feel the next few days will be a struggle

Babyghirl · 07/09/2020 16:36

@27DONFIN
welcome to a thread that is helping me a lot I myself have had 2 losses one in Nov 2018 took ten months to fall again lost that in Oct 2019 so nw on to month 11 ttc, I never test unless I'm late as I would rather c my period than a nagitive test. We will get there might just take time but hold on in there ❤️❤️❤️❤️

27DONFIN · 07/09/2020 16:44

@Babyghirl thanks I think that’s what I just need some positivity it may not happen this month but it will one day. I just struggle with how consuming it has become I hate how it has changed me.

Babyghirl · 07/09/2020 16:59

@27DONFIN
I was the same still am but I cut out taking my temp this month and just going with the flow, taking my temp everymorning was stressing me out and I'm trying to cut the stress away and hopefully things will happen. Xx

ELM7 · 08/09/2020 10:05

Morning Ladies.

Hope you are all doing ok. Sorry been quite just been waiting for uteruses to become less confused!

Never thought I would be excited to say that AF arrive yesterday ending a 42 day cycle (when I normally am regular 27day cycle) Now just really hoping this month is a normal cycle but will start OPKs as soon as AF has gone.

How are you ladies in the TWW doing? Any symptoms yet?
