Update on me - there is no update 😂 CD20, not even a sniff of a positive OPK and no temp rise. Will have bloods done in the next couple of days. Gynae appt on 16th Sept is the plan xx

@MichT4 oooh even if you're 12DPO a sensitive test should pick something up 🤞🏽

@VP91x that's great it can check if you've ovulated! I'm learning so much from this group 🥰

@Northernsoul90 glad you asked the question about OPKs and when to start testing from - I'm going to go with CD10 too, no idea what my cycle will be like now. Was always a textbook 28 days before but I was on the pill for 4 years and got pg as soon as I came off so not sure what's normal now for me at all

Ugh totally with you all on the heat. I've had 2 fans blasting in my home office and at the stage I've started googling home AC units 😥
Some genius told me to drink hot drinks to trick my body into cooling down - I can confirm this theory is a load of crap and I'm now just even hotter 🤣

Once i had my mmc my body changed, for years I would get sore breasts when af was due and since the mmc I don't get it at all, the last 3 cycles have been worse than I've ever had, the worst cramps and seemed to be more bleeding for longer. I used the one step ovulating sticks and could only ever get an almost dark line, never a full one. Don't know if it was the time of day or what but felt like I was sending myself barmy when I kept getting faint lines, I guess It just took a while to ovulate again that's why I was getting such painful periods because I wasn't.
With this new pregnancy I've barely got any symptoms, I feel nauseous but not enough to not eat and a bit of a dull feeling in my abdomin. When reading about it, it can take a while for symptoms to show up.

@MichT4 I’m alright thanks lovely - 4 or 5 days past ovulation here and already feeling I’m out this month?! And DH has announced he’s away for work for three weeks in Sept so I feel next month isn’t going to happen either as he’ll be away when I ov.....
trying to remain positive but it’s hard! Keep thinking I would be heading in to the third trimester next month if the first MC had stuck
AND (sorry, pity party here today) it’s my birthday in about 10 days and I was so certain I wanted to be pregnant by the time it rolls round but it’s not looking likely....
queue the tiny violins, I’m having a down day 🤣

@VP91x @SmileyT we’ve had Eid, our anniversary, 2 small weddings and a funeral in the last 3 weeks!

@2020wish I’m currently 11+5 weeks but don’t have my next scan until the 26th when I’ll be almost 14 weeks.

@Niisa wow that flew in!! Hope mine flies in as fast! My next scan is the 27th

So just had a lovely 3 course meal that my friend bought me for my birthday. And I vomited it all back up. So a moment on the lips but never on the hips is the vibe I’m going for lol

@Diorissimo1985 I am the same, I would have been due October 29th and I wanted to be pregnant before 35, I'll be 36 in September and if all goes well I'll be due in April 2021. My cousin didn't want children until she met her partner a few years ago and she was 36 with her 1st and 37 with her 2nd. All of our friends have children all around the same age so they all get together, we're now at least 3 years behind.

@Niisa oh wow so much has happened for you! Hope you're keeping well though. That's annoying that your 12 w scan isn't till 14 though. Have you had any done privately?

@Diorissimo1985 sorry you're having a downer day, we're all entitled to them. It's a shame your OH is away for so long but hopefully it won't matter because you'll get your BFP 🤞🏽 why do you think you're already out?! X

Hi everyone , thankyou so much for all your replies. My neck is insanely painful. I was prescribed morphine and codeine but I am too scared to take them because of my pregancy! I have read enough online to put me off! I keep sitting/ lying and getting stuck. I am just trying to focus on my scan next week. I should be over 6 weeks then so I will be able to relax a tad if they see a heartbeat. My OH has completely left taken all his stuff. I haven’t really told anyone. I’m a bit silly I’m a bit proud. I wanted the perfect family image :( when I tell people it is more real that is not gonna happen x

@@2020wish oh how I wish that was the case for me - I'm not losing any weight 😭😭😭

@MrsK21 I know! I had a scan at 8 weeks and everything was fine. I still have all my symptoms, which had died down by this time last pregnancy so I'm hopeful. Hoping the stresses of the last few weeks haven't affected it in any way 🤞🏾

@BEESY90 that is absolutely awful!!! I mean why was he even ttc with u? How long where u trying for? Did he have any other excuse ( not that it’s valid). Oh love u need to tell family and close friends u need support now right and they need to know that he has left u after such a major accident ontop of being pregnant!!

Thank you guys, you have all been so fantastic. I think I was so angry and hurt yesterday that I just couldn't put myself through it all again. The thought of the OPKs and counting down the weeks again after all this time was making me so depressed. I'll keep in touch and let you all know x

@BEESY90 what an awful time for you, but stay strong as you have that beautiful little bean growing inside you.

My period pains have died down, I had some impressive cm this afternoon but it's dried up again. My lower tummy, hips and back just feel achy. Time will tell xx

@BEESY90 I'm so sorry that you don't have the support from your partner:/ I also agree that you need someone from family or friends group to talk about your emotions. I always say that we don't know what is happening behind close door and people do go through things without us knowing it. Don't feel too proud and reach out to someone dear to your heart. But if you feel like talking with us anytime, let us know dear 😘
And focus on little one by staying healthy 😘

@HappyVibes thank you, testing Friday. I'm kind of expecting the worse but hope for the best. I don't want to get my hopes up and be disappointed.
Our bodies work in very strange ways and I feel we notice more when we are actually paying attention to it xx

@BEESY90 I’m so sorry but believe me you will be a lot stronger then you think my husband departed when I was 5 months pregnant with my youngest and looking back now I don’t know how I coped but I’m a strong believer in everything happens for a reason and that door had to close to put me where I am now and truly happy always here if you need to talk xxx

@Northernsoul90 yes counting this as CD1, I've got an actual flow and it's defo AF. Not just brownish spotting anymore so I'm thrilled 😬
