Update on me - there is no update 😂 CD20, not even a sniff of a positive OPK and no temp rise. Will have bloods done in the next couple of days. Gynae appt on 16th Sept is the plan xx

@Lollol86 I understand hopefully after the scan you can breathe a little better.

Yeah she really has, and he wouldn't even let her sit down on her table or play with her toys. If he went near her, I would have to grab her just in case and it was just impossible. Obviously not willing to compromise on her safety. Xx

Hope you don't mind I've joined, I've been having some spotting for a couple of days, I was on the phone to 111 when it started but they couldn't diagnose anything as it had only just begun but told me that it might be threatened miscarriage. I had an early scan due to having cramps at 7 weeks and everything was fine there was a heart beat now a week later this, bit nerve wrecking

@Pugprincess mine started off a salmon colour on Friday evening and is now that light brown! As long as it's not getting worse you should be okay, that's what I keep telling myself anyways

@VP91x was she nervous? No I don't blame you at all. How long is your oh going to be staying with his mum? Xx

@Lollol86 she was a little apprehensive around him, but no more so than when she sees a spider or something in the house. Indefinitely, until there is a solution really.. Xx

@chloxhunt sorry you're going through this, have you contacted your local early pregnancy unit to see if they'll scan you or a private clinic? Sometimes they have same day appts xx

@MichT4 girly day sounds fab, I'm standardly on the sofa watching Netflix 🤪 OH made pancakes this morning which were bloody fab and just having a chilled one as we're actually both off work all day for once x

@Pugprincess mine isn't until 1.40pm when OH finishes work, I'm considering being super positive and booking a hairdressers appt for straight afterwards 👌🏾

@Lollol86 probably a stupid question but how would you find out if your hospital do reassurance scans? MW told me I'd have to go to A&E to get in but loads of people seem to go direct 🤔 have you booked yours for a few weeks time? x

@VP91x oh is Bella scared? That's really tough for you, do you think you can at least give him a few days to get settled before you decide what to do? Would they take him back, rather than him having to go to a home 😩

@HappyVibes what CD did you used to peak? I think a variation in ovulation by up to 6/7 days is considered normal so I wouldn't start panicking if last peak was CD26 x

@chloxhunt if you are having spotting it could be nothing, a lot of people have it during pregnancy, can you book a private scan to put your mind at ease? x

We’ve had some great news with BFPs lately & I feel like these have all helped boost people’s hopes and feelings of faith. We need more exciting news & journeys to keep the positivity up 🌟

I’m currently on cycle day 15. No smileys/ high.

Last month I got the first smiley (high) at cycle day 16. Then I didn’t get the peak until cycle day 25.

Maybe this is just my new cycle after MMC in June?

Before MMC in June, I usually got smileys on cycle day 12, peak on cycle day 16.

I have the reassurance of gynae appt in September so I’m not overly worrying at all. Just the time going slow situation as ever in the TTC journey hehehe xxxx

@VP91x how did he feel about leaving? I can understand why you feel like it feels like a break up 😭😭 xx

@SmileyT I assume my doctor would be able to potentially refer me for a reassurance scan but not all hospitals do them. I just decided that the 2 times I've been to epu I've been told it's a mc so don't feel comfortable going there unless I really have too. Yes so I've booked the 5th of September, I will be 7 weeks then, I will also have a 10 wk scan too as last baby stopped growing at 8 and a half weeks xx

@SmileyT I think so, OH is at his mums now talking to some dog specialists to see if there is a way around this all. If worst came to it, he wouldn't go to a home luckily, he would go to a dog handler/specialist/trainer anyway. There is like a network of people that are great with dogs like this. I hope there is a resolution, don't want OH at his mums permanently, imagine! Xx

@Lollol86 oh, he was in tears😩 honestly it really does feel like a break up. I've been crying too. I feel like a terrible human xx

@VP91x you are not a terrible human you are putting Bella first and rightly so. You just can't risk it. Xx

@VP91x @SmileyT I was thinking about booking a private scan but it'd be internal as I'm only 8 weeks, I had one on the 7th and everything was fine then but 🤷🏼‍♀️, my mum said to keep an eye on it till Wednesday as that's the day my midwife works, it seems to be stopping now I think and I've still got all my pregnancy symptoms which is a good sign but 🤷🏼‍♀️

@chloxhunt it might not be internal, have you had an internal before? They aren't the most fun things but they aren't uncomfortable. Do whatever makes you feel most reassured for sure xx

@Lollol86 yeah, sigh will have to just see what happens. I'm worried he will choose the dog over us 😩😂 xx

@VP91x he wouldn't choose the dog over his 2 girls. Hopefully you can get him into a specialist and oh can come back home xx

@chloxhunt hi, are you cramping now? When I had my MC I had lots of dark brown and then bad cramps like my period was starting, they were like contractions at first every 5 mins then eventually constant and had bright red. I’m trying to not panic about this light brown, I didn’t have any salmon yet. My stuff before was watery whereas this is discharge with a slight colour. I’ve got preg straight after mc with no AF so I’m hoping it’s just some old stuff like the ladies say. My friend suffered a mc for her first then went on to have 3 children and bled up until about 8 weeks with them all. She’s seen my pics and told me she wouldn’t be worried about it. Time will tell I suppose.

I’m not sure a private scan would reassure me with spotting. My last MC I went for a scan (Sunday) and she told me she couldn’t see any bleeding inside uterus and baby had heartbeat and I was probably just having implantation bleeding. Well the next day the cramps began and by early Thursday morning I was in full MC. So just for me personally it gave me a false hope. But on the other side I got to see baby before (he-I’m sure it was a boy) died. I don’t think I’m ever going to be fully relaxed until a baby is in my arms and even then I will find something else to worry about I’m sure!

@VP91x What a tricky situation you are in! I hope pup settles in a few days and gets used to being around Bella, they are very excitable at first especially in new surroundings so I hope it works out. You aren't being horrible at all, you are protecting Bella as any mum would ❤️ xx

@Pugprincess I cramp occasionally but it's not often at all I was getting cramps before anyway, mines just light brown now, it's not getting heavier or darker so that's a good sign

@VP91x unfortunately when you're 8 weeks it's internal, yeah I had internal on the 7th it's not the most comfortable thing 😂

@VP91x Yeah it was the same as yesterday but I don't normally do cheapies alongside the cb I just tend to stick to doing a cb every morning and have always got a static that way. I find holding and doing opks throughout the day really stressful especially if it's going on for over a week! Xx
