Update on me - there is no update 😂 CD20, not even a sniff of a positive OPK and no temp rise. Will have bloods done in the next couple of days. Gynae appt on 16th Sept is the plan xx

@michT4 yeah I wear a mask but not gloves. She cleans everything between lessons. I could use a stearing wheel cover if I wanted but they make gripping the steering wheel more difficult. TBH my instructor lets me do what I am most comfortable with. I wear glasses when driving and sometimes they just keep getting steamed up so I have to remove it.

There was another lesson practicing manoeuvres in the same car park as me and neither of them were wearing a mask so who knows 🙈

@2020wish I get pains like that, usually when I move or change position so I think it's normal!

Ladies is anyone following the SMEP? I’ve just come across it & wondered if anyone has thoughts on it? I just wondered as I kind of feel like it defeats the object of OPKs? X

@MichT4 only problem is that OH is probably going to get home and think he is on a promise with me laying naked in bed, I'm definitely not saying 'no sex' but I can't even contemplate it feeling so bloated and hot 😂 and yes Oreo choc is great... I keep looking for the mint one but it's very elusive. Don't put pressure on yourself and the test tomorrow, I've got everything crossed it will be positive but either way you have some positive things planned. And whenever I think about marriage I just consider the cost of a wedding and go off the idea, OH keeps joking that we'll just tie the knot on a beach in Barbados this year 👀 that picture is actually me right now 😂

@VP91x haha I love that you know my route home, it was a bus from TH back home but there is loads of roadworks so it was a nightmare, disposable mask went swiftly in the bin as it was soaked by the time I got home 🙈 and as much Oreo as you can get in throughout the whole cycle i reckon 😉

@Firevie definitely too late for ovulation I'd say, is that Fitbit you're on? I added in my ovulation for the month I was pregnant so that it still registered it earlier and therefore estimated ovulation based on ovulation date rather than cycle length, if that makes any sense 🤔 I actually found my Fitbit to be strangely accurate even though it had the least amount of data 🤷🏾‍♀️ I'm in agreement with @VP91x no harm starting early on the cheap opks x

@2020wish it's funny how whatever stage of ttc/ pg you are everyone else seems to be moving quicker 🙈 I've got my next scan next Wednesday and I'm already counting down the days x

@HappyVibes I followed SMEP and I thinks it's definitely good if you're not sure when you'll ovulate and you don't fancy going everyday leading up to that positive opk but think the ladies that have tried will agree that it come become very structured and I had a few tears when trying x

@HE88 yeah I'm okay thanks, 8w now and just in the last 4ww until scan trying to stay positive. And yeah tbh it's bloody awful all the waiting ttc, it's so hard to keep your head in it when you just feel like you've had signs it hasn't happened but the month I caught I was so convinced I hadn't even ovulated because my temps were low and erratic so you never know. Good luck testing in the morning really hope you get a lovely surprise x

@SmileyT exactly my Fitbit is quite accurate as well. I tried to input ovulation just gone but I don’t know how to manually adjust ovulation?! I can do that for periods but not for ovulation for some reason? And agreed I will start using OPKS from cd12 as @VP91x suggests xxx

@SmileyT thanks hun. I did kind of think the same about maybe end up doing it for so long & so structured, it would maybe become too stressful which as we all know so the opposite of what we need.

I shall stick with the OPKs and DTD on the high and peak days as usual - always seem to have been a success for us. Just guess I am happy to try anything now haha. Xxx

@Firevie 🥰 it will probably just be helpful so you can see what your body is doing. Hopefully you have an early ovulation on cd17 and don't have to have a longer cycle! 🤞

I'm on CD21 now, yeah I've been doing OPKs everyday, no progression and no temp change. I've kind of made my peace with it but have a little wobble here and there.

@SmileyT haha, god I must have sounded like such a stalker 😩😂😂. Ah yuck! I can imagine the buses are like hotboxes right now. Bless you, hope you're getting seats etc and keeping water on you. Omg that would amazing to just get married out there. Honestly the cost of a wedding is horrific, my best mate had a fab wedding but cost her about £15k and that's not even expensive. I think if we did get married I would do a tiny wedding and dinner somewhere and then just have a lovely holiday. Literally like a £2k wedding type thing. Mostly so Bella can be flower girl again so I can cry haha xx

@Happyvibes I completely agree with what @SmileyT said, for me it became so structured. My OH struggled for the first time and we had alot of tears/arguments when it came to the vital days. BUT, if it is something that you both agree on trying and wont tire you out etc then definitely give it a try xx

@VP91x thank you for sharing. That’s how I completely imagine it would be for us too. It kind of felt like that last month when my CB OPKS showed 10high days before my peak. Wow we were so over it haha. Genuinely feel like that’s why we didn’t conceive last month, because it became a chore so much 12days in a row - so felt so pressured and not relaxed.

Here’s hoping for a relaxed month xx

@HappyVibes yeah, it's crazy how quickly it becomes a chore. We would always just have quickies and it was so unromantic. It is successful for alot of people though. It just depends on how you feel xx

@HappyVibes we intended to follow the plan but just ended up dtd every other day and didn't bother with the 3 nights in a row as I had ovulation pains so wasn't pretty sure I knew I had ovulated xx

Evening all just doing a catch up after another boiling day 🥵 so glad FW is done as couldn't bring myself to DTD again tonight in this heat....I've defo lost a few pounds in sweat the last few nights 😂

@Firevie my cycles since the MC have been between 20-33 days and I have definitely ovulated once in all of those cycles for definite and possibly twice but I'm a bit doubtful about that second one.

I found out last month that I have PCOS which is causing all these issues so it is likely I won't ovulate this month at all either xx

You can ovulate twice in one cycle? Didn’t know that! Hopefully you’ll ovulate just later this month?! Fingers crossed for you xxx

@SmileyT it is way too hot for sex. We did it the other night and I thought I was on fire (not at the sex! 😂). Honestly tonight if I move at all I think my head might explode.

Also, Barbados wedding sounds perfect. I'd love a wedding like that. I really want us to get wed but I wouldn't want to spend so much. Tricky though, nice to throw a big party!

Ugh so I just popped to the 'in-laws' as I had to drop something off and they live near the Chinese, so thought I'd just vegetate there for a while, and his Mum had a couple of her sisters round and I found the whole thing really awkward. Hard to explain but I came home (earlier than expected) and cried to OH that I felt really unwelcome 😂😂 god! Think AF is coming because that level of emotion can't be normal.

Also, I swung into Aldi and bought a car mat for the dog. I don't know if I even need one because it's for the boot and I don't know he will sit in the boot, but I bought it anyway.

So now I'm about to go back to where I was 40 mins ago to pick up dinner 😂

@MichT4 hmmm.. I wonder what else causes emotions to be heightened 👀? Haha. I've got my pom poms ready just in case. I hope you are okay, and can enjoy your takeaway. ❤️

@Firevie sorry I didn't explain myself well, out of the six/seven cycles I've had since the MC I have only ovulated in one cycle or maybe two cycles xx

My OPKs came today :)

It's cd9 for me counting first day of MC bleeding as cd1 so I figured I'd do a test just to see and set a baseline. This was taken at about 3/4pm and was actually only My second wee of the day! Normally I ovulate at around cd17/18ish but I've had the odd 28 day cycle before too so I don't wanna miss ovulation with it being a post MC cycle.

I also did a CBD one just because 🙄😂 it was low obviously but I thought the lines were quite dark.

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to OPKs tho so I was wondering...

What time and how often should I be doing them

Do you always get a line and it's just negative until it's as dark as control line?

Should I keep using the CBD or wait for darker lines?

@Firevie on your Fitbit go into female health then press the plus button and in the list of things is ovulation test and I put in when I got my peak and then it puts ovulation for the following day 👌🏾

@HappyVibes yeah I'd say it's good if you have no idea when you're ovulating and if using cheapie tests and goes straight from no line to a peak some people may miss the days before but if you have a good routine that doesn't involve too many tears and tantrums id stick with that ☺️

@VP91x no I like it, whenever you go to ikea I think ahh I wish I'd bump into you (not that I'd have a clue it was you 😂) yeah I like the idea of being married but not at the expense of my future children's nursery fees 🙈

@MichT4 well he came in I'm laying there quite seductively and he didn't even try anything so I needn't have worried 🤦🏾‍♀️ ahh sorry that you weren't made to feel welcome, sometimes I wish I could just pop over and have a cup of tea with you ladies when we are feeling down because we all just get it. @Bl0ndi3 with the cheapies I tried to do 2 a day at like 12pm and 6pm and then just did CB in the morning, from what I gathered about CB if the line by the circle on the stick is dark that's high oestrogen (if you get this on your first stick it might stay at blank circles until peak as it's already high) and then the line on the other side is LH so when that one gets dark that's your peak, although CB instructions does say not to try and interpret the lines. With the cheapies I would get a line throughout (everyone has a different baseline of lh so this varies) but it's negative until it's darker than the control line. Hope that makes sense x

@Bl0ndi3 I would have said the same as @SmileyT regarding the OPKs! Try not to focus much on the CBD lines. Hopefully you ovulate quickly this cycle xx

@SmileyT thanks so much. I’ve just done it and it was a proper ‘ahhhh’ moment lol! So I’ve updated my Fitbit with my ovulation date and it’s still showing ovulation for 8 September so I’m going to go with that and will start testing on cd12
@VP91x ah now I get it thx! Must be so frustrating but I really admire your positive attitude and your strength with which you keep soldiering on xxx
