I totally get you! I was like that last month which was out first month trying. Turns out I had only just ovulated 😂😂

@beckyBP It's so funny because, before we started trying, he was so sure it was going to happen first time and we'd never have to worry, and I kept reminding him it's probably not going to happen that way etc. And now we're actually TTC, here's me thinking about maybe being pregnant this cycle on literally 0DPO haha.

The way I see it though is that yes it might take a few months or even longer than that, but might as well be optimistic that it won't 😁

@somanystars my fiancé was exactly the same! I think he was shocked it didn't happen last month.

Definitely be optimistic! And enjoy it too I say! X

So today my LH test % dropped to 36%. Yesterday it was 133% does this mean I have ovulated.

Hello everyone! Hope it’s okay to join! We’re currently on 3rd cycle TTC baby no. 1. Just starting the TWW, I think I’m 1DPO as I had my LH surge on Sunday.

Does anyone else have extremely short LH surges? I had not even a squint of a line on the cheap OPKS all week then at around 11am Sunday I had a near peak, then a definite peak at 2pm then it was completely gone by 5pm!

Would love to find someone in the same boat as all I seem to find online are gradual LH surges and I’ve been thinking something is wrong with me!

Hi guys, hope it is ok to join this chat! I'm currently on 3rd cycle TTC baby number 1. According to my Flo app, my FW finished yesterday and AF should be due on 21st. Would be really good to have people to share this journey with and fingers crossed we all start to get BFP soon 🤞🤞

Hi @EmmaAM ! Looks like we’re in very similar situations! My FW finishes today and AF due on 23rd according to Flo. We’re also TTC on our third cycle for baby no 1!!

@Kg87 I'm so glad I've found someone in the same boat as me 😊 how have you been finding everything? I think I've obsessed way more than I ever thought I would!

4 months ago I couldn’t of cared less but now I’m obsessed haha! I’ve found the ovulation tracking the most difficult as my surge seems to last only a few hours so I missed it last month! How about you?

Wow @Beaglemum93 snap! AF due 28/29 August but mine have been up and down since DS was born. Apparently I am ovulating now so we will see. Worked quickly with #1 but not going to get too excited (she says)

@Kg87 I'm the same! I'm currently trying to take the relaxed approach for ovulation (just using Flo for now) as I feel I might stress myself out too much otherwise. The first time I ever came on here was an eye opener because I hadn't realised just how many different things could be tracked!

@EmmaAM @Kg87 Looks like we're all on a similar timeline, I'm 1DPO and my AF is due 22 Aug 😊 Hoping for us all to be on here in a couple of weeks posting our BFPs 😁

Anyone have anything notable in the way of ovulation symptoms? I've become a bit obsessed with that since I got my peak as I'm absurdly worrying that I got the surge without actually ovulating. Got absolutely no basis for that worry of course 🤦🏻‍♀️ haha

@EmmaAM @Kg87 @somanystars looks like we all are in same boat, even I am 1 dpo and my AF is due on Aug 25th. Hopefully all of us get our BFP 😀😀

@Shinea It's so nice to have a few people at the same stage to chat to about it all! My OH is great about it but I'm sure he's not going to want to hear about every tiny twinge 🤣 .... Although that probably won't stop me telling him anyway haha

Yes I’m also really paranoid that I didnt ovulate too! I was extra paranoid this month as I didn’t ovulate (supposedly) until CD17 but it was supposed to be CD10 according to Flo as my cycles are usually around 25 days, I started Pregnacare Conception last month so as soon as I saw reviews that it could delay ovulation and periods I stopped and OV finally came, not sure if it’s a coincidence!

I'm so glad that there are so many of us in the same boat! Ovulation symptom wise, I do tend to get a bit of cramping on one side. It wasn't as noticeable this month but last month the cramps actually made me feel a bit sick. Not fun but at least I was fully aware as to when I was ovulating 😂

@iloveyoubutilovememore how are you tracking ovulation? I've been doing opks despite saying I was going to be more relaxed about ttc this time. How old is your DS?

@Beaglemum93 - yes I've also been doing the opks haha. I didn't want to but felt compelled last night in Asda. I'm aware that you're supposed to test earlier though to get the baseline or whatever that is? But I test last night and got a static smiley and again this morning. My boy is three, yours?

I had some spotting on Sunday and again today but only the tiniest amount so I’m assuming this is ovulation related? I also had some minor cramps on my left side, I’ve never properly had period pains so can’t really compare so again I’m assuming/hoping it’s ovulation related

@Kg87 Definitely no need to feel ashamed about not knowing all this stuff - it's never really taught to you! I was the same, didn't know anything really about TTC beyond DTD/take folic acid before I came on here.

Yeah I'm really glad I read about Pregnacare on here before starting TTC (I was a lurker for a good while before we started lol) because I would have gone straight for it, but not so keen if it's going to change my cycles etc. Are you taking something else instead now?

@EmmaAM Rubbish that you get the cramps so badly but like you say, it's good to have that confirmation! I'm feeling slightly crampy today so I was rubbing my tummy a bit and OH was like, are you rubbing to encourage it to work? (as we DTD this afternoon) 🤣

@Kg87 hope it's ovulation for you. I've heard of pregnacare delaying ovulation before. I'm just taking folic acid and vitamin D.

hi again! not had any luck with opks this time around. it's possible that ovulation is just gonna be too late this time as my cycles are pretty short there will be no time for implantation. i've been doing the tests every morning and night but it's possible the surge happened in the middle of the night. i'm supposed to be ovulating today-ish according to my other cycles. even though this is my first cycle ttc i have been tracking ovulation for a while so i'm pretty certain i know when i usually ovulate now. also found some ewcm two days ago which is when the donor came round. if i do get a positive opk today or tomorrow then i will ask if the donor can try again but i'm thinking i just missed the lh surge. good luck to everyone!

Hi joining in these TTC after a break as I had MMC in march this year which discouraged me a lot and the pandemic didn't help either.

We have been trying blindly since then but I'm feeling upto it again and have ordered some ovulation strips today.

Currently CD2
Fertile window around 21st August
Hopeful BFP 6th September

I know it’s just crazy how much I didn’t know, but as you say - they didn’t teach us any of this in school! I only knew to take folic acid and DTD too!

I saw the reviews about delayed periods before I started Pregnacare but not about delayed ovulation and I didn’t put the two together until I was frantically googling when OV day didn’t come 😅 I only took 3 weeks worth but now I’m worried AF will still come on the original day which is one week earlier than Flos prediction now as it updated when I logged OV 🤷🏽‍♀️ It seemed so tempting when I read the reviews about people getting pregnant within one month but I probably wouldn’t recommend it now as the TWW is long enough so I’ve just added more time/stress! I also noticed I had zero EWCM this month, could all just be a coincidence though!

I’m just back to taking folic acid now which I started in March. I’m trying to eat a balanced diet too but hard with all the family BBQs.

Has anyone used the Clear Blue advanced digital ovulation kits?
