As soon as AF disappears, which will be soon 🤞 me & my partner will be ttc :)
I've been keeping an eye on my cycles for a little while using the flo app & have been taking pregnacare.
Is there anything else we should know or do to help prepare ourselves? :)
Exited to go on this roller coaster of a journey & as no one knows of our plans would be lovely to hear off people ttc too :) xx

AF due tomorrow. I just took a test and it was a BFN 😔 it wasn't FMU so I'm still trying to be positive! I've just felt really different this month so think it's made me hopeful. We shall see tomorrow! 🤞🏽🤞🏽 xx

I have also read stories where people haven't got the BFP until on the day of AF due
I have everything crossed for you 🤞

It took me a good year to get pregnant with my first, I did all of this then the moment I stopped making it my main focus and went on holiday I came back pregnant !! I'd just say to make sure you relax ! Good luck op

AF started today so wishing away the next couple of weeks so we can try this month!

Eurgh ladies.. I'm pretty sure AF will be here within the hour. I'm GUTTED! I had such a different last few days and things like the vivid dreams, early wake ups, change in skin I honestly thought this was it! 😫

@beckyBP so annoyed for you!! Symptoms really seemed positive! I was ADAMANT that I was pregnant this month - I had such bad nausea and cramps! Starting to think it was just in my mind. Don’t worry - we go again ❤️❤️❤️ We will 1000000% get there - just hate the waiting. AF in full swing, hope she P’s off soon! Xx also where are you 2 from? @rosiej95 xx

Me and OH are also in our first month of TTC.
I was also the same to a lot of other ladies in this thread... Trying to be chilled about it but I am already taking folic acid, vitamin d supplements, using LH kits and checking my basal body temperature every morning when I wake up! I swear it turns all of us crazy, I mean how can we stay chilled!? It’s exciting

I am on CD19, I ovulated CD16 and had sex CD10 and CD16. Not sure if I missed my window or not this month, either being too early or too late having sex on ovulation day but I am still trying to figure it all out.

I have only just started monitoring my basal body temperature within the last few days but I did manage to pick up on the temperature spike after I ovulated.

I am trying not to get too excited about everything and trying to stay relaxed as I do not want to get my hopes up but it has turned me pretty crazy already since I started this journey!

@beckyBP really is depressing when AF shows her face! When will be your next ovulation day? Do you know? I'm due to ovulate on 3rd October (my 30th birthday)!!!!! I'm in Essex, shame we're not closer - we could have met for a decaf coffee or non alcoholic Prosecco 🤣🤣🤣

@sunshinecitrus1 welcome!! To this crazy group! Honestly, I knew it would send me crazy - but I wasn't expecting this bad! It really must happen to all of us 😩 so draining! I wasted so many pregnancy tests last cycle! I cannot do that again! I've been doing BBT and ovulation sticks too! Xxxxxx

@sunshinecitrus1 👋 ive seen a couple of threads on temperatures I think if it doesn't happen by Christmas then I'm going to be deffo using the ovulation kits & proper going for it 😂

I was telling one of my friends how miserable I've been the past couple of days & her reply was "your not pregnant are you" I was like 👀 secretly wishing! 😂😂

I've got a test coming today with the shopping... I'm only 8dpo so am going to try my absolute best to hold out testing!

I’m not on my first cycle TTC (just started cycle 3) but it’s quite hard to find people in a similar boat, the early days of trying for our first.

I’m on CD3 of my 3rd cycle. Nothing happened first time, then last month we fell pregnant on/around our wedding day but I had a chemical pregnancy where I had strong positive tests last Mon & Tues, fainter lines Wed and Thurs, then was bleeding by Sat. I was gutted and I am still sad, but trying to take the positive in that we can get pregnant so will be trying again this month, but won’t be testing until af is super late!

I opk, check my bbt, take pregnacare and used preseed last month (which I’m sure helped!!) and already feel like I’m going nuts with all of this and we’re only starting month 3 🙃

To be honest I never expected to be like this either but I am pretty much online googling something everyday and am constantly on the Ovia app tracking my cycle and adding as much data as I can! I’ve decided not to buy any pregnancy tests yet just to stop myself from doing testing too early!

@rosiej95 Hi! How long have you been TTC? I wasn’t going to do the temperature thing at first but after reading up on it, I decided it was a really great way to monitor a pattern in my cycles. I bought a thermometer from Amazon that cost less than £10 and it works a treat... Apart from waking my OH up every morning when it bleeps lol!

@Amy259 Hi! Nice to meet you . I’m really sorry to hear of your experience last month. Everything happens for a reason I believe so hang in there and fingers crossed for this month. I am on my first month of TTC and there is so much to take in!

I've read a few times that preseed helps & is quite good.

@sunshinecitrus1 this is my second cycle
We're taking it as it comes atm.
my BF wanted to just relax & enjoy ttc, me on the other hand I'm secretly googling everything 😂
I've told him that if nothing happens by Xmas then I'm going to buy all the ttc things going.
I've got a temp gun, I might look into doing my temp on my next cycle if this one doesn't work 🤔

@rosiej95 hi! Yeah it’s so hard, I didn’t even test that early - just the day before af was due. So she was 5 days late when I started bleeding. Onto the next month though!! What cd are you on this cycle?

@rosiej95 That’s the thing isn’t it, you don’t want to put too much pressure on TTC or no doubt it will turn into more of a chore which of course nobody wants! I am exactly the same as you though, I am completely playing it cool with my OH but behind the scenes my search history is ridiculous lol! Hopefully the temp gun does the trick, will save you buying another thermometer 😊 Will this be your first child?

@Amy259 Oh I am only 3dpo and I am already getting impatient lol! I am constantly on google at the moment, I can’t help myself lol. I only came off the pill at the end of August though so I am wondering whether that will affect anything. My body needs time to adjust after all but you never know I guess 😊

@sunshinecitrus1 well I was adamant that I was pregnant during my last cycle! The mind and body definitely plays tricks on you when you’re so desperate! I literally had a note pad and wrote day by day my symptoms 😂😂 so that I could compare against for any future cycles. I’ve well and truly lost it and hoping my husband doesn’t find that note book - he thinks I’m being too regimental about it and doesn’t have any idea about the note book....

@RLou3 ahh thank you, it’s so nice to speak to people who are in the same headspace! My DH is just as keen, especially after last month, but doesn’t get how fine an art it seems to be so would probably think I was nuts if he saw the extent of my googling haha. I’m certain it was the preseed that helped - I never notice much ewcm so I think maybe I needed the extra help.

@Amy259 i go off an app (which I know isn't reliable 🙈) & I've gotta be honest still don't understand it all but if ive got it right that's telling me I'm CD 25.

@sunshinecitrus1 it is yes. Been wanting to ttc for years but my BF wanted to wait & then we delayed it a little because of the first lockdown.

CD35 and AF still isn't properly here after I thought she was Saturday just the odd spot and I'm now wondering if you can get pregnant DTD 7 days before ovulating?! I think I'm going mad hahaha

So I took a test because apparently I believe in miracles now!.. obviously BFN which I knew but still disappointed.
Whilst I was in town I had to buy a present for a newborn and then sat next to a lady with her mum and new baby in the cafe, couldn't help feeling a little rubbish!

@maudesid sorry to hear that - it’s the worst, isn’t it? I feel like there are pregnancies/babies everywhere and I can’t help but feeling sad. My brother-in-law and his wife are starting to try too and weirdly I feel pressure because of that too!

I saw you have long cycles, mine are quite long too and I’ve been ov around day 19/20 which feels like a year away when af arrives. So much waiting at every point in the journey!
